I am a contract MTN customer for 10 years+. Renewing a contract with MTN is like a meeting with SARS..... a nightmare. They have different addresses and a bunch of pathetic excuses as to why they take so long to do what a competent person can do in minutes. It is unfortunate that the big 2 networks have a monopoly and the one is more useless than the other. And the poor consultant at the shop floor (MTN Knysna)is handicapped as they rely on call center agents to do the basics. Really poor service from a company that claims "MTN's mission is to make customers' lives brighter" You are dimmer than the lot at ESKOM.
I had an excellent experience with Outsurance after I lost my phone and needed to make a claim for a replacement. The process was straightforward and hassle-free from start to finish. The customer service team was incredibly helpful and efficient, guiding me through every step and promptly answering all my questions. My claim was processed quickly, and I received a replacement phone of my choice via Takealot. Overall, Outsurance made a stressful situation much easier, and I’m very impressed with their level of service. Highly recommended!
Always a pleasure to shop at Kingsmead Shoes in George. Even with a hiccup when returning faulty shoes and presenting the incorrect invoice. After sales service is as important as the shopping experience in which so many retailers fail when selling their products. Kingsmead sure lives up to both. We'll done to the team in assisting me after an 8nitial hiccup.
I'd like to compliment Swiss Watch Brands, a division of the Treger Group and especially the representative I dealt with, Mr Vincent Motong, for the excellent service I received after I had my Tissot Touch II watch sent in for a "service. After I had a bad experience taking my watch to a dealer and not getting it fixed, I contacted Vincent. It took a while but I have my watch, couriered to me in the Western Cape.... at their cost, back in perfect working condition. Well done Swiss Watch Brands and Mr Motong!!
Not all payments made on the MTN App are recorded and credited to your account. I paid an amount on the App on 4 Sept 2023. MTN disputes this. I have proof of payment (bank statement) and they still dispute that they received the payment. I am not able to supply electronic proof of payment as the payment was made on the MTN App and was not a beneficiary in my bank account. I have given them proof from my bank statement but they still dispute the receipt of payment. Really MTN. To f&@#$% lazy of *********** to check your bank statements. The store representatives are not able to assist as they are just puppets in the shop that cannot resolve inquiries. Everything must be escalated to someone.
Great service from Kenwood SA (Delonghi Group) and their brand representative Andrich in Cape Town. After a rust issue on a 2 to 3 month old Kenwood Vintage kettle, Kloppers in Knysna refused to exchange it as it had cosmetic damage over and above the rust all around the bottom rim of the R999.00 kettle. That was 3 weeks ago. I, the client, was responsible for the cosmetic damage. It had however nothing to do with the major rust issue around the rim of the kettle. 3 Weeks ago Kloppers Knysna committed to contact the Kenwood Representative to investigate the issue and get back to me. Obviously they did not contact Kenwood and never contacted me. Really Mrs....... from Kloppers Knysna?? On my follow up visit to Kloppers Knysna today they could not tell me why they have not contacted Kenwood to investigate. They did however offer to courier the kettle to the supplier at a cost of R800 to me and I will be responsible for the repairs/removal cost of rust to the R999 kettle. Really Kloppers Knysna?? Fantastic service and a really reliable brand with great backup Delonghi SA. No need for the retailers like Kloppers Knysna to give a brand a "bad name" because the staff may not be properly trained or is just not interested in client service.
Exceptional service from Knysna Supaquick and Willard SA. I fitted a new Willard battery in Jhb 5 months ago. In past month it struggled to turn the motor and now runs flat overnight. Knysna Supaquick tested it and found it faulty. No arguments, no hassle. Supaquick immediately replaced it with a new one at no cost and registered it online. This ser ice does not exist in Jhb. Thank you Werner and team. Great service. They even cleaned, welded and service the battery tray that was worn. Awesome people!
Google SA and Google International has zero interest in their clients and rely on their unique Google Ads to milk advertisers of their money with hardly any back-up support. Ignoring previous difficulties in dealing with them just looking at a current issue. For 3 weeks now I cannot get any assistance from them. After they actually called to try assist from India the support agent is so incompetent that they cannot even understand the very simple issue of re-activating an account. They promise to call back but never does. One cannot call the "usual" assistance number as they are using "Covid 19" as the excuse for zero service delivery. I am now on their Google SA support number 0800000777 holding now for 1 hour and 41 minutes. Still no answer!!! Support logs on their website gets acknowledged but that's where it ends. I have been a Google service provider for 10+ years and the service we get from Google is now at it's lowest. Incapable support agents with zero desire or skills to assist paying clients with support. I suppose that is what happens when you get this big and only chase the money. Google... you have a great product but your service is really pathetic. I earn a living providing advertising services to clients. Service is critical. You have really dropped the ball Google!!
Excellent service from Mical and Jonathan at Morpha Dezign in Eastleigh, Edenvale. I had shop signage made, chromadec trailer advertising boards made, printed & fitted and since then 10,000 pamphlets printed. Every-time they have delivered on time and the standard of work is exceptional. Highly recommended for any signage, stickers and any design work. And they do vehicle branding. Thank you Morpha Dezign
Every now and the surveys tell of Takealot that is so efficient. My experience is that they are not efficient at all. Whilst holding on and listening to their "high call volumes" lies... they claim delivery to major cities will take "up to" 2 days. Really? Once you place an order and pay though it becomes 7 days! On day 3 after order and payment the status on their system is still only "Paid" and with a message that it has an "estimated delivery time of 6 days later". Even if you can get hold of them when calling the poor operator has to make up stories on why it takes so long. Why not just state it can take up to 7 days to deliver to major centres on your message service. No need to lie to make you look good... you don't!! And every time you call them it is the same con story of "high call volumes"! If you consistently have high call volumes... get more people to man your call centre!! Not high tech to figure that one out!
