While the initial sale, their website and even their grounds are well kept, that is as good as it gets at Makiti. You can see at one point they used to be amazing but neglect and indifference in their service have damaged their venue. Accommodation is SHOCKING! Do not stay or let even your guests stay there (dirty and hazardous and no refunds even for legitimate reasons). We were really disappointed in the food at the reception – most of it was average with dessert being unappealing – lumpy custard and mismatched melted ice-cream. Choose a different venue.
Incredible online service - seamless returns and refunds, great communication and user experience. So impressed and even more so when you compare them to other online shopping experiences. Keep up the great service!
I placed an online order and recevied the incorrect sizes. The first 3 emails to TFG were not even read correctly by them, they provided the wrong information despite my having put everything that was needed to fix the situation into the very first email. Situation still not resolved and quite frankly they don't care. Don't recommend and wouldn't buy again.
Great service. I emailed them to match a price and had a speedy response. Ashley was fantastic and answered all my questions, quote and invoice needs. The drone arrived by courier 2 days later and works beautifully.
I ordered from Makro online and only half my order arrived. When I call the call centre for help, they tell me they gave the courier the full order, the courier says they have delivered everything they were given, so basically half my order is just nowhere. The agent I spoke to on the phone today put me on hold for 8 minutes just to tell me that there was no one who could help me. So much for customer service.
Fanastic experience. I emailed before placing an order as I wanted custom engraving and wanted to make sure they could cater for it. I received a response within 20 minutes both friendly and informative. I placed the order easily that day (Thursday) and asked if there was any way to speed up the order as it was a gift I needed by Tuesday. No problem, my order arrived on Monday. Highly recommend them for quality jewellery and amazing service.
I needed to get my Citizen watch repaired, and took it to the Sandton store. I requested I be contacted before any work was done as it was out of warrantee. I heard nothing back for 2 months. After about a month I tried calling (calls never connected to a person), emailing (received one response and then nothing else, despite 3 follow-up emails), I even tried their online store chat window (no one is on the other end). I went back to the store today. My watch had been repaired (without authorisation and I was charged anyway). It had also just been sitting there for 5 weeks. When I said I was never contacted, I was told I must have been, so I checked my call log in the store on those dates - there were no calls from them. To their credit, I did receive a verbal apology from the store, but that was it.
Paid for products which I have not receive 4 months later.
I ordered my photobooks 4 months ago and still no delivery. They say there is a backlog but are still taking orders and payment from more people who aren't receiving their products. Shocking! Part of Print 24, so don't use them either.
<p>I took my car to them several times initially for a service and then to get the parts they recommended replaced and spent quite a lot of money with them. On more than 1 occasion they worked on my car before getting approval or even letting me know how much it cost. On the last occasion they forgot to put my air filter back in my car (its huge you cant miss it).</p> <p><br />Still, after everything they replaced did not fix my fuel consumption issue. On taking it to a private mechanic, he deduced that they had used the wrong reference points on my cam-belt replacement resulting in a timing issue which was causing a higher fuel consumption and shuddering when idling. So I had to pay someone else to fix something they should've done to start with.</p> <p><br />Although seemingly friendly, they are not thorough and do not give you confidence their work.</p>
