I placed an order with Jolly Grubber Albert Street via the MrD app. There was a slight error and upon calling the store immediately to notify them not to make the food or go ahead with the order for which the funds were already deducted they told me to Call the MrD call centre and they can assist to change the order. Only for the MrD call centre to mess me around, after speaking to the 4th person they said I was informed incorrectly and the restaurant has already made the order and nothing can be done. This was literally a few minutes after calling. It was Impossible that the order or food rather was even done a percentage yet I was told the order was made completely already and ready for collection just a mere 15 minutes after placing it. The restaurant manager, Nafisa and the people I spoke to were all deceptive and absolutely unhelpful. I even said if they can please have it delivered I will gladly pay for delivery and they said MrD can sort it out, only to be told by the MrD agent that they cannot do that. Clearly now we know how they make their money. Off unsuspecting clients who ask for help but are given the run around. Deceptive store and staff and pathetic service.
Several times I've had issues with Roman's Pizza Morningside always for them to brush it aside and never acknowledge their mistakes. I placed and order via the MrD app and whilst I am well aware that the prices are higher online due to fees for the app and drivers I still use it. The store however takes no care in how they package orders, there's no consistency with the quality of food either. There's never any compensation or apologies . They shouldn't be on the App if they can't provide decent service.
I go to the KFC in Springfield at 11:36 To collect an order I placed via the Mr D app. At the store a male tells me to go outside to the small window to collect and I was confused so I double checked and he says yes go outside. The same male was busy talking to the other females and laughing. When I go outside 2 females question me and say to me give me your phone let me check, a phone is a personal item and should not be handed to anybody so I gave them the name as they did not ask for any other the details after a while it became frustrating and I asked to speak to the manager. The same male that sent me outside shows up and says to me what are you here for and I explained to him that he was the one that sent me to the window that I was there to collect an order which should not be done outside he then says give me an order number which nobody else asked for HIS NAME WAS SIFISO. He gives me an excuse saying that it was a delayed delivery so my question was it was a collect order not a delivery how could it be delayed. He was arrogant and rude and when I questioned his services he offers no remorse or any solution or anything of the sort all he says was I'm sorry it's a misunderstanding which is absolutely unacceptable as he is more interested in laughing and being friendly with the staff instead of ensuring customers have good service.
ROMANS PIZZA MORNINGSIDE IS THE MOST PATHETIC STORE WITH THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER !!!! I ORDERED ON THE MR D APP AND THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME WAS 12:15. IT GOES ON TO 12:35 AND NO DELIVERY!!! UPON CALLING THE STORE , YOU ARE ON HOLD FOREVER . THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE SAME ISSUE WITH THIS STORE AND I OVERLOOKED IT AND WAS POLITE PREVIOUSLY. THEY TOOK MY MONEY BUT I HAVE NO FOOD. MR D IS CLEARLY UNRELIABLE JUST LIKE ROMANS !!!
On the 8th of March I went into Clothing Junction Wick Street Verulam, I selected my items to be purchased and went to the Tillpoint to cash for them. Upon leaving the store I see that I was charged incorrectly for 1 of the items. Higher than the price tag attached. I went back to the store to query to which one of the ladies was very rude and arrogant. She says well it was probably a return or packed incorrectly. There's nothing we can do. How many other people are getting swindled out of pocket by not checking their items. The situation could have been handled a whole lot differently and with much more graciousness. The items were purchased as a gift. The next day the jeans was taken back to change for size. The same female says in a very irritable manner well we about to close. Yet there were 10 minutes left for the store to close. So I said I just want an exchange for a different size. She says again well we closing just now but you can go look. They need a proper lesson in customer service. After we were done and left the store 15 minutes later she was so busy smiling into her phone and the store doors were still wide open !!!!
We are regulars at Shoprite and recently had an issue with bought milk that spoiled well before the expiration date. We took it to the store and there weren't even questions asked once we explained that the milk was spoiled but before the expired date. They simply said , no problem get a new one. We did that and we didn't even have a hassle leaving the store. It's so great that they are understanding and will ensure that a customer leaves smiling. Friendly staff, not all, but then again I guess everyone has bad days. Well done Shoprite Highway Verulam .
My Family & I visited Jet Gateway to make some purchases for a Special Function we will be at tomorrow. Amongst the items purchased were a pair of shoes, that were 2 different sizes, which we only noticed once home. The other was an incorrect belt size. We had to drive all the way back I order to ensure they give us a pair of shoes that are b9th the same size and the correct size belt. The Cashier Nokwanda does not check and gives back the incorrect belt. We didn't think to check the packet again as it was Nokwanda that also cashed for us the first time. She couldn't be that stupid that she made the same mistake twice. However we otherwise was proven to us as she did not check and just repeated the error of not checking what she's doing. 2 trips already made and fuel wasted and now with wrong items. We call the store, Simphiwe assists but says he will call back after speaking to higher management whose name is David. David did not even have the courtesy to call back, he used Simphiwe to do the dirty work and be a messenger to say there's nothing we can do. We will just issue the staff with a warning. Absolutely zero care for customer service, incompetent staff and absolutely pathetic management. Someone really needs to completely change the staff I this store or provide them with some sort of training.
ROGUES !!! Robbery at its best, these people con you into things unknown and refuse to take responsibility!!! Another company that thrives on robbing people !!!!
2 months ago I placed a call to MTN to cancel my contract as instructed by an agent previously on which date to call.. I spoke to a Nombuso with ref number 1-21163462893.. on the 17th June 2022. I confirmed everything with her and calls are recorded so this can be pulled up for your reference. I even got a confirmation sms to say the contract was set to be canceled. I paid in Full for the 24 month contract term as Intructed by Nombuso on the call. The following month I get an email saying I owe MTN an amount of R209 and I'm constantly getting calls from MTN agents wanting to upgrade my contract which is ridiculous as the contract was already ended!!! However MTN took it upon themselves to still request payments and have now blocked my number. They dont even check the call recordings with that reference and if they do, they will find all in order as well as all payments in full!!! I've sent retentions as well as customer care numerous emails requesting assistance and absolutely no one got back to me. I've replied the once when I was requested to send personal details for verification which I sent through and I got no response. What kind of robbery and nonsense is this!!!! My primary number that I use for everything is now blocked because of the incompetent staff at MTN !!! This needs to be seen to urgently and the situation rectified !!!! Nombuso is an idiot and clearly did not do her job !!!! I want that recording and I want my number cleared , converted to prepaid as it is now lawfully and rightfully mine as I've paid in Full for it!!! I will start putting this on social media and in the papers if I have to with all the details. MTN needs to be sued for causing such distress to customers and being the most negligent company ever !!!! After sending an email to complaints last night I get an sms today saying the contract will be canceled today but I must still pay !!! What kind if Fraud are they trying to pull of ????
MTN gets their call center agents to call and swindle people into deals with false information and then they overcharge you. When you query it they give you the run around and apparently cannot pull up calls or provide proof yet they say calls are recorded when they phone. Then when you want to place notice to cancel a contract you are given a specific date to call. They try everything to convince you otherwise when you do call to cancel on the date instructed to do so. They do as instructed or so you think and you receive your confirmation verbally as well as via sms and you pay your last installment I full only to receive and email and statement the following moth saying you owe money !!! Is this jot fraud and daylight robbery ??? It's pathetic. Is this how MTN makes money ????
