I always appreciate the exceptional service at PostNet Metropolitan in Cape Town. The staff is consistently professional, friendly, and eager to assist. They go above and beyond to ensure customers receive the best service. Today, I forgot my phone and couldn’t access my documents, but they provided a phone for me to use. When I needed a ride, Zoe even helped by ordering one for me. I also admire the teamwork and mutual support among the staff—it truly enhances the experience. I was thoroughly impressed and grateful for their outstanding service!
Sure! Here’s the revised version with that added: --- On February 25, 2025, we had a house viewing with an estate agent named Chimmy. From the start, she was rude and uninterested in answering my questions. On the day of the viewing, we left home at 16:45, but our GPS was confusing, so I called Chimmy for the location. She was dismissive, saying she was busy with a client. After multiple calls, she finally sent it at 17:10. When we arrived, Chimmy was escorting another client out. I greeted her and attempted a handshake, which she refused. Instead, she lashed out about us being late and rushed through the process. I immediately felt unwelcome, but my partner and his brother proceeded with the viewing. Chimmy barely acknowledged us and seemed uncomfortable, especially toward them as Nigerian men. Her attitude strongly suggested racial bias. This experience deeply affected my partner—he now avoids viewings led by white agents. It’s disheartening that he feels his money is accepted, but he, as a Black man, is not. Unfortunately, racial profiling in Cape Town’s real estate industry is common, and Chimmy’s behavior reinforced that. No one should have to face such treatment when searching for a home. If your agency does not want to deal with certain people, kindly make that clear so we don’t waste our time or invade your space. Everyone deserves respect when looking for a home.
I recently went to collect my card and had to wait for 30 minutes before I was called in by a consultant named Lufuo. From the start, she seemed annoyed when I greeted her in my Isuzu language. She asked for my ID, and when I tried to explain that I didn’t have it, she rudely remarked that if I had informed the helpdesk, it didn't mean they would relay the information to her. Her attitude towards me was starkly different compared to how she treated the two white women she assisted before me. She wasn't wearing a name tag either. I explained that I was just passing by Cavendish and remembered to collect my card, which is why I didn’t have my ID with me. She then said she would note in the system that I "stormed off," which I corrected her on. I don't want to interact with her again when I come to collect my card. Her attitude was demeaning and unfriendly, particularly towards her own people. It felt like she judged me based on my appearance and thought she could speak to me disrespectfully. That lady was really rude towards me, had I had time I would have dealt with attitude.
I sent an email asking their process to change banking details as my account was compromised, they then decided to block my account , I phoned them to fix the issue and it's been 2 weeks now and I am not getting my money, when I call then m being sent from pillar to strength. Their WhatsApp is a total mess. Stat away from this company bunch of ********s and their service is extremely poor
A Nigerian friend of mine recently used one of their rentals, they first claimed his documents were forged, but took his money and forced him to pay for a cleaner, they left him with dirty rusty pots to use , dirty carpets and peeling kitchen counter tops , because he is new in the country and was desperate for a place he took the rental and paid a full deposit of R14000, he was recently told he must move because it's peak season, then he requested his deposit back and they are now telling him that he must pay for those same damaged stuff himself further demanding R1700 because they bought pots of R5000, cleaned the same carpet for R3000, only because they believe he is from Nigerian and does know the laws of this country. We asked them to provide us with the checklist when they were onboarding him, but they are failing to do so yet they have a checklist if damaged properties and decided to send their lawyer to threaten us We urge every black person or foreigners visiting Cape Town for the first time to shy away from the work Hosted, The storey. You hear the name Fortune, Jonathan fell don't make that Mistake.
On Wednesday 28 October at about 4:30 I entered the shop in Mostert street Cape Town to buy pants and a t-shirt, I fitted and proceeded to make payment, I greeted the cashier (who was in fact suppose to greet me first ) and she kept quiet, I asked her why she doing that, she responded with an attitude from hell by saying she is tired, I was shocked and disappointed and i told her she must either ask for a break or stay at home because i don't deserve her stinking attitude, I then called her manager and she apologized on her behalf but the girl was looking at me as if she wanted to throw something at me, she never apologized or saw nothing wrong with her action. Sometimes I think our fellow blacks here in CP think we must understand because of the color we share. I demand excellent customer service everywhere regardless of my skin color, and this thing of calling us "Chomi" is the worst , I hate it.
I went to the Seapoint branch this afternoon and I was served by a black lady, wearing a brown dress, she was so distracted by a video call of a man. When I was giving her the money she was not looking and grabbed cash that was not meant for her which I placed in the table, my hand was holding the cash to give her but because her focus was on the man who was on the call she was having , I was forced to listen to her conversation with that man about lunches and meeting to take over, which I was not interested on, I had to ask her for a plastic twice. I've been a customer of Mimi.Q ever since I moved here in 2022 and this is my first time experiencing such. The best service will always be Adderley Street next to Tops , those ladies are always polite and ready to serve. This one really undermined me because m black like her and thought I don't matter as a customer for her to pay attention her man than me, j was only there for less than 3 minutes, she could have allowed me to finish and continue her conversation. In my experience as a CS you are not allowed to eat, use your phone infront of customers, it is unprofessional.
they are very ***********, they debited me for a service fee since Tuesday and i have been trying to arrange a day for installation only to be told that i owe R249, yet i have a credit of R249. if you call and get an agent byMpho Maqalika, ask for another sales agent, as soon s i paid the money she weas difficult to locate and responded whenever she felt like. she is making my week hell.
Good day. My name is Thembi Dlamini, today I had the worst shopping experience in my entire life. I went to Legit store in Cosmo Mall at about 9 am on Wednesday 4 October 2023 and nothing could prepare me for the horrific treatment. I was looking for a white shirt and I saw one while I was walking across the mall at legit store, I entered the store and picked the size and as I was to walk to the fitting room the cashier told me I was not allowed to fit a white shirt as I will make it dirty, I was shocked to hear such and while I was contemplating what she was saying then one other lady who said she was a manager of the store approached me caring a green shirt that looked nothing like the one I wanted and said I must rather fit the green one. I asked both of these ladies if this was a new policy since I never heard of it, which they said its always been like that. However when I read the policy at the counter (attached) it did not have such. I asked the manager for her name of which she refused to give me and also refused to provide me with Legit customer service contact details and told me to use google to search for such information. These ladies are definitely not trained to work with people, they are disrespectful and implement their own policies because they believe they work in the township complex and that they can treat fellow black people with so much disrespect. I will never enter your store again thanks to the people you hire. Kind regards, Thembi Dlamini 0793007731
