FNB refuses to update my credit record correctly. They state my total balance due is my monthly installment, which all credit providers now receive, immediately blocking me for applying for credit because of this incorrect information. The account has been paid monthly for years with GLA, with regular increases, and despite being in arrears because of Covid, which they acknowledge and understand, FNB Legal Department shrugs it off and says they will only update it when the account is paid in full. So I cannot apply for any consolidation loan anywhere to close it because FNB is not reporting my installment to the NCR. This is *****ulently sharing false information about my credit profile. Your chat service is beyond pathetic, being passed around from one to the other person, getting "I'll be with you shortly" replies every 3 minutes for 30 minutes straight, then getting disconnected and having to restart again, only to be passed around some more. FNB fix your house, you clearly don't bother with your own slogan HOW CAN WE HELP YOU. You don't want to help, at all it seems.
I've never met such negativity and less care for a customer than the online team and customer service department of Incredible Connection. What's worse is that I received very clear feedback that stated "there's nothing we can do; you will wait and that's it". I'm appalled to say the least. From the cold and one-sided person managing the chat service on your website, Peter, to the very rude and condescending attitude of Fortunate on the customer service line, to Tshepo the Supervisor in that department who flat out refused to speak to me and never even bothered to call me back after I asked Fortunate to tell him it is urgent since their offices closed at 1pm. All I got out of you is a very quick reference number for my complaint, and an attitude of trying to get rid of me when I was furious and looking for help to resolve my issue. Being told to wait and stopping all possible attempts at resolving my query is pathetic. The worst part is - the store manager Pat in Richards Bay Boardwalk was a star!!! She tried her utmost to help me resolve this, going as far as thinking outside of the box, calling customer service, calling SABC licensing, and doing everything possible to assist. She is to be commended for her star performance and it is ONLY because of her that I am not cancelling this purchase. I'm so sad to learn that despite with her attempts to deal with Head Office Customer Service, she too was met with this same don't care attitude. How can you run a business like this where you are right out deceiving in your Click and Collect purchase option on your website. The TV was right there, I paid for it, ready to collect, yet someone was enjoying doing nothing on a Saturday, refusing to do their work that they are paid for, and now I have to wait 48 hours (business hours I have to add!) to get my purchase. You falsely advertised that you can buy on your website and go and collect it by omitting that there is an extended period of time you have to wait until it is processed. It is clear that nobody bothers about customer service, except the store manager who called me several times today to help me, even confirming she will try again tomorrow to see if she can still succeed. THAT is going the extra mile, but your online department has the most disgusting attitude ever!!! I will never buy from your online store again, and I warn everybody out there to be very careful when you do. Rather go in store or go elsewhere where the service is far better. You guys can learn from Takealot.com who knows how to deal with customers.
I purchased a high value item in the UK that was set to come with complicated shipping due to its size. The item was shipped in two boxes, and I was referred to John Lombard by the online customer service agents. John guided me all the way on what to do months before the item actually shipped, and when it was time to deliver in the London branch, he helped with the necessary measures. Unfortunately one of the two parcels slipped through with the incorrect customs charges, and Isabel Stephens came to the rescue with swift, friendly and professional communication - rectifying the problem and ensuring that there were no delays at customs in South Africa. Isabel went as far as to mark this as VIP with priority clearance. It was cleared within minutes after I received the correct duties charge. The packages arrived, delivered by Sunnyboy and his friendly smile and great customer care. I had seen nightmarish images of this same purchase in the USA and the courier service there destroyed and damaged so many of these huge boxes with massive holes and damage to the purchase item in the boxes. That had me very worried because of the size of these boxes, but I had no need to worry. Box 1 arrived perfect. Box 2 had 2 tiny holes in the exterior, but the item was damage free. I am so impressed that the employees who handled this all the way from the UK to South Africa did so with care and grace. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend people to trust their valuables irrelevant of size to the Aramex SA team (and the UK branch too!). Thank you for treating me like a valued customer. Your customer service and affordable pricing is worth singing your praises! What's more, I know that this wasn't just a one time thing - a friend of mine purchased the same item and the team helped him with the exact same advice; and his parcels arrived in perfect condition too.

Thank you to Hein and his team for again coming to our rescue and assisting us in another long distance move. It was not just very affordable, the service received from Hein was once again out of this world, going beyond to assist and making our move as easy as possible. The movers themselves were another wonderful bunch of gents who arrived early, packed things up in under 2 hours, and found us at the new home the next day - already unloading! Not one item damaged, bumped or scratched - everything arrived in perfect condition. I won't look anywhere else if I need to move again. Hats off to you all. Highly recommended service. 5 stars!
After settling my account early, Finchoice mistakenly charged me another debit order. I reached out to them requesting an urgent refund, and without delay, 48 hours later the refund was paid back, with a big apology and great communication in between. I will happily recommend Finchoice to anybody. Despite this mishap, their service has been fantastic no matter what the situation.
I have been harassed by Wilma from Newtons Attorneys today for an account that is not in my name. The extremely rude Wilma went as far as to give me attitude, demanding that I must have employed the person she referred to and that is why my number is on his account! The irony is I don't even own a business to employ somebody! I confronted her and advised her that I will be reporting their business to the POPI Act as I did not authorize them contacting me, at which point she threw down the phone in my ear. I tried being polite and explain why I am not the person she's looking for. I will not accept this abuse by a total stranger giving me attitude for somebody else's account and will report them to the Information Regulator if they contact me again illegally. Get your facts straight first before contacting me again for somebody else! What's worse, Hello Peter is FULL of reviews for this business and their cruel consultants throwing down the phone on clients and speaking to them like they are rubbish.
I have been harassed for over a month now for a Finchoice account that is not in my name. I receive up to 5 calls a day from Credit Worx looking for someone else. Every time I tell them that person is not me, and that they must remove my number for that person. Yet they keep calling me and send me smses with payment requests. I have reported this to Finchoice, and they have even sent this to their legal department. I have now reported Credit Worx as a result of the POPI Act where my personal information has used illegally for somebody that is not me. I trust the law will now sort you out because your staff are incapable of doing it.
I'm extremely impressed with the wonderful service received by Hein Aggenbag and his team from AFR. Always attentive, always available by phone or e-mail, Hein guided us through every step of the way in terms of our move. Hein's friendly demeanor made the process smooth and easy, and the pricing was extremely affordable for a move of nearly 2000kms! The team arrived on time as confirmed to pick up and load the truck. Not once was anything dropped, sc****d or damaged in any way. The loading was professional by a team of friendly men. Two hours later the truck was on their way. They even arrived in the prescribed window and unpacked in just under an hour - friendly as the day they loaded. Nothing was broken - not one glass or plate or ornament. Nothing was scratched or bumped - which is fantastic! They wrap everything properly in blankets and tape up anything that is loose. They are indeed the best. Yet again, the team at Postbox-Courier delivers. As a client of them for several years, the last year must have proven extremely difficult for many buyers of overseas goods considering certain limitations. Never did I ever have to worry about my packages being lost or delayed without being informed as to what was going on. It is very understandable that flights are limited, but this has not stopped PBC to deliver and keep their promises. This is my second parcel delivery for 2021 and they have been top notch yet again. The super-friendly Micaela is always available to assist; she makes me feel important as a client. Their fees are very reasonable when you consider the current climate too. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to import items safely and without any concerns about customs etc or hidden charges. Thank you to everybody who works so hard at ensuring my prized packages reach me safely. A+++ to them all!
