I cancelled my contract with MTN last month (December 25) after I was given a qoute for early cancellation fee. I paid the amount and was told by MTN that I would not have to make further payments. Well today MTN debited my account with R3066 that I was not informed by before hand. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.
People like like Thembisile make it a joy to be covered by Auto and General because they always provide top notch customer service. Thank you Thembisile.
I just wanted to complement the company on how they handled and eventually resolved my complaint this past week. The problem started when I ordered a router from them and they unintentionally provided me with a faulty one. However, Mpho Dube from the Johannesburg office took it upon herself to ensure that this issue gets resolved as soon as possible. On the day I informed them I was still waiting for a new router, she made certain that a technician would come to my house even though it was after hours to assist me. I'd also like to thank both Martin and Vincent from the same office for their part as well. I'm elated with service I received and I would recommend that you give Vox a chance as an ISP.
I took out a fixed LTE MTN contract and a router with VOX last month. Unfortunately, the router that was delivered by VOX was faulty, as it could not read a sim card. I notified VOX of this and they assured me I would get a new router last week, but that did not happen. It's sad that they invoiced me for a router that I can't even use. Please rectify this.
I'm trying to port my number from Telkom to a different network provider and they are refusing to release it. The number is on prepaid by the way so there should be no reason for not realising it but that's Telkom for you, they can,t do anything right.
I'm still waiting for my deposit after attending an auction that took place from the 8/8/19 to 10/8/19. When I call in I'm always told they I'll get my deposit the day I called but I feel like I'm being taken for a ride. Please be careful when attending auctions, make sure you pay your deposit using cash so that you can get your money back inmmediately once the auction is over whereas if you do an electronic payment you have to wait to recieve your deposit which might not even come.
I've gone through the complaints listed here (hellopeter) against Vodacom and I can say I'm not surprised by the way they (Vodacom) has been treating my wife lately even though she been a loyal customer of theirs for many years. My wife called Vodacom on the 29th June to cancel her contract with them because it was coming to an end on the 15th of July and instead of them (Vodacom) cancelling the contract as per her request they offered her a new 20+10 gb contract at R179.00 starting from the 1st of July to which my wife agreed. I was with her when this happened. Come the 1st July her new data wasn't loaded and when she called Vodacom she was told it'll be loaded later that day. However, it was never done instead always given an excuse and it has never been done. Today she was told to wait for a call from their team leader by Kgahliso but we know this just an excuse because we have been waiting for the team leader to call ever since this whole debacle started. If Vodacom can do this to one of their loyal customers who has been with them for a number of years then I don't think they are a trusted brand.
On 17/04/2018 I went to a Telkom store to link my Telkom ported service number to the contract I have with them. Since then, I haven't been able to use the number because it remains deactivated. I don't know how many calls I've made to Telkom trying to get this problem sorted without any luck and it feels like Telkom really don't care that I'm inconvinienced in this way. As to whether I'll be able to use the number again, it remains to be seen but I don't have much faith that it'll happen. You have really disappointed me again Telkom because I'm always telling people how great you are and they should move to your network but if they are also going to experience the same problem as me then I'm afraid it's really not worth it.
Fastway Couriers are useless. Sent package to East London on the 26th March 2018 and I was informed it'll only take 2 days to be delivered. Today (05/04/2018) the package is still not delivered when it should have already been delivered. AVOID AT ALL COST!
My recent experience with AVBOB has been nothing but unpleasant. I've been waiting for three (3) weeks for the said company to pay me the surrender value of two (2) policies after I was told it will take between five (5) and seven (7) working days. I've had to go to the local branch three (3) of four (4) times each time for something different because there's always something outstanding that I wasn't told about. This has been a nightmare which I can't wait to wake from. You guys need to improve because this kind of service won't cut it. As things stand, I wouldn't recommend AVBOB to anyone.
