The staff were great but man oh man was the owner/manager awful. We had just walked in the store and heard this female berating the staff behind the fresh fish counter. When she walked through the store she had this miserable bitter looking face and she didn’t care at all that there were customers in the store. She literally didn’t acknowledge our existence. As if that wasn’t the end she then barked at the staff to screengrab her WhatsApp status and share it to their contacts? It was very strange and gave toxic workplace energy. Lady, if you’re seeing this, just do better. Being nasty isn’t a good look on you and it’s clearly showing on your face. Just be kind. It’s not hard.

She then walked out with the most horrid look on her face. Not concerned at all with the fact that there are customers in the store. The yuck attitude continued when she barked orders at the staff telling them to screengrab her status and share it with their contacts? Honestly, it looked like a toxic work environment. Big ups to the staff for keeping it together and being so helpful. Lady if you’re seeing this, do better! You are quite a terrible person. And fix your face. Being nasty isn’t a good look on you.
Very disappointed with the service received today. No wonder there is a blood shortage. Please make sure the workers capture your details correctly. I was turned away for a second time after being told I should come back in November. Just do better guys. And change the attitude as well. This is not the type of service that requires you to pull your face and be non engaging.
This is for Meri-zelle, who offered the best service, even though I was not expecting much. She went out of her way for a flippen amazing outcome (won't share details, you know what you did!) and I honestly almost ugly cried on the phone when she gave me the good news haha! Sorry I couldn't come back to Outsurance. But we'll try again soon. ♥️Hopefully I get a good #BlackFriday deal on what needs to be replaced. Still love you guys🫶🏽
Called for a tow truck and received the best service. Quick and efficient
Called on 13/10 to get a quote and subsequently start the cover on 1/11. On the 2/11 I called for an update because the money had not gone off my account. That lady said she will look into it and get back to me, because there is another company who gives quotes on their behalf and they may have not fully processed it(this is after I was sent an OTP). She didn't. Why is it so difficult to get service from Discovery as a whole? This isn't my first bad experience with them. Please do better. And if you don't wanna give me the cover then say so. Don't corporate ghost me. It's annoying.
This is just a follow up to my initial post. To date I have not received confirmation that the vitality is active on my profile. After numerous calls and emails back and forth. Please revisit your procedures because this whole process has been awful. The last time someone by the name of Nokubonga from the complaints dept(?) called me and assured me everything will be resolved. It has not. At this point I don't want the vitality-that may change. But for now just make the process easier to join. Goodness!
Original review posted 4/4/23. It shouldn’t be this hard to activate the vitality active. I initially called on march 8th and was told it would kick in April 1st because you guys only do it from the first of the month. That time comes and goes and the payment doesn’t go off. So I call to find out why. Then I’m told that I should have been sent a change of policy schedule and would have to accept it. By end of business yesterday or latest today. And then I received 4 additional calls after that regarding the online request I made. So I’m guessing my profile wasn’t even updated or nobody noted down that they even called me? And still no policy schedule received. Please get your house in order. I’m so disappointed. Today is 11/4/23 and I still have not received any feedback.
