Long story short: Hussar grill is owned by Spur. Rather go to Spur. Long story long: I ordered Babylonstoren Babel wine which on their menu is advertised as rosé. I double checked on Babylonstoren website, it is in fact a red wine. Starters: dead average. Chorizo was nice but the calamari is cooked in the same sweet sauce. It’s a no-no combo. The mains: Yoh! This is where it really stared to go downhill for us. They have such a specific menu when it comes to how you like your meat, how pink it is etc. whatever you order please bare in mind it will come 2 times more raw. Eg, I ordered a medium/well done steak and it was medium rare. My partner ordered medium rare, it was blue (basically raw) Finally nearing the end of my wine, I saw creatures (alive and some dead) in my wine glass. Finally we called the manager. He gave us complimentary “double choc martinis”. Hahaha it was warmed up chocolate sauce in mini glasses. Shame he tried. All in all my partner said the best part of the whole meal was the mashed potatoes. I’d recommend going to spur and saving at least R100 per person for the same thing, i’d argue - even better than Hussar.
Do not trust these people! If you value your goods you will not use this company. We hired them to transport my dad’s car a Mercedes SLK convertible from Joburg to Mossel Bay. My dad opted for the “chauffeur” service. What a laugh. 2 guys showed up at the house in tracksuits, socks and flip flops. One whose name is Wesley. From his WhatsApp status I could gather not South African. So no truck? I asked. He said she’s gonna drive my dad’s car to the warehouse. When I asked where the warehouse was, he gave me an adress that’s 33 minutes away. I called his “boss” or whom ever the CDJ contact person is Shane or Shaun, he informed me that it was only 8km away. Confused, and with alot of doubt I handed the keys over to Wesley. After an hour I sent him a WhatsApp asking if the car for there safe to which he rep**** “don’t worry sister”. Very professional, but wait it gets worse. He phones my dad 2 hours after leaving my house that he’s stuck. In his own residential area not anywhere near any of warehouse addresses given. He said he ran out of petrol, wanted my dad to reimburse him and oh ya the battery is flat so the car won’t start. My dad isn’t in joburg so I sent my fiancé to see what is happening. He found my dad’s car, bonnet open, battery removed, leaking oil and water running under the car with the top down!!!!! The joy ride Wesley took the car on was also recorded by CPF members in the community who said that they were drag racing and wheel spinning and doing donuts in the street. They trashed the engine. Metro police came out but couldn’t make an arrest of Wesley as the cat was stationary when the metro arrived. My fiancé was surrounded by Wesley and about 7 of his friends who refused to hand the keys over despite my fiancé being with me in the morning when I gave him the car. We had to get a tow truck to tow the car back to the collection address in Joburg. They still have the deposit we paid for this service. Did I forget to mention Boss Shaun switched off his phone or blocked us? And we have not heard from him since!!!! We will be legally perusing this matter with CDJ movers for damages.

I sincerely hope this reaches the correct person to deal with this matter. I’ve had a parcel sent to me about 2 weeks ago. Apparently the address was incorrect and when tracking it says to reach out to aramex. Well I have and I given the customer support staff on 3 separate occasions between sending the parcel and now my address. All of which have said they will get the parcel out of the undeliverables and have it delivered- which still has not been. I’ve also been told that the sender needs to change the address on the store to door website which she tried however it looks as if the waybill is already in use it cannot be changed. These people have no clue what they are doing and aramex is wasting their resources paying these people. The sender has also sent an email and received a case reference. JNB/0122/3572 I also believe this new online system is flawed as there is more room for error. Please can somebody just get the parcel to me?!?! The waybill number is DBP46760230635
I sent a parcel from postnet north cliff this morning and I paid a pretty penny for it to be delivered in Cape Town today! (Parker assisted me) It’s estimated dleivery date is Sunday. I paid R1125 for it to get there today. This is unacceptable. For that money you could have put an individual on a plane and had it there in 2 hours. If it does not arrive by midnight I expect a full refund.

Wouldn't recommend. I purchased an iPhone 11 pro on the 1st of June 2020. It is the 11th and I still don't have the phone. I followed up last week and was told by Sam that the phone was being collected on Monday. On Tuesday when I asked about the status of my order, Emma replied and said that collection was being arranged (how, if i was told it was collected yesterday???) Bare in mind I had ordered the phone the previous Monday. Which means they hadn't arranged collection for over a week and that I'm also possibly being lied to. Over the past 2 days, I've been reaching out to find out where my phone is but now the team has started ignoring my emails. If the seller no longer wishes to sell then I would like my money refunded. Why am I being strung along? This is very bad customer service. I am very disappointed. I opted to use this service, even though it's more expensive, so I didn't have to meet someone from gumtree and that all the checks are done but now I'm feeling just as insecure about my purchase. Hope I am not being scammed out of thousands of rands.
At Mc Donald's columbine in the south of Johannesburg there are 2 beggars while we waiting in the drive through. There is permanently somebody begging by the cars at this particular Mc Donald's. As a woman u do not feel safe and today was just enough when not one but 2 separate men approached my car! Maybe hire security
On my way home from the east of Johannesburg, a news cafe car drove past. He was speeding (over the limit) and was driving in between 2 lanes. I was very upset when he passed as he used no indicator either. Then I passed Alberton off ramp and the car was stopped with a dent, next to a dead body and a major accident. I did not witness the accident but the fact that he was stopped by the accidents which left no doubt in my mind that he could've possibly contributed to the accident. (It is also possible that it was someone he knew, which would explain his driving)
