Poor customer service,very dissapointing. The supporting team offers very poor advice and will very seldom actually remedy a query.. They are either lazy or not competent. They don't reply promptly or at all to some enquiries, they do not perform due diligence before sending out communication, they charge for services they don't actually provide and supply conflicting information, they are not able to supply current financial statements, when raising discrepancies on the 2022 Financials presented in july 2024, they said thers no point raising discrepancies because these are outdated Financials. These guys are no help and just take your money for nothing.
It was all fun n games, until 1 day my account balance dissappeared.. Been chatting to The useless customer service for days before getting to this reply: Thank you for your patience, i regret to inform you that an amount of R R 602,57 plus R 400 was claimed back when your Bonus expired before you could complete your wagering... So they will give you a bonus when you make a deposit, but then you not allowed to withdraw the money even if you placed and won a few bets, and then they take all your money back if you don't lose it yourself within a few days, this app should be *******.
If pathetic service was a company, it would be old mutual. Old, outdated and outperformed by their competitors. Post sale service from this company is just appalling.
Excellent service received from Garth, despite all the negative reviews, i called to contact center, waited 4 minutes for an answer. Garth was a great help in planning my trip, Delightful experience. Hope the trip goes as planned. Will surely update if anything changes.
The worst isp in the world, the only company iv ever encountered that does not offer any post sales service, they have no customer service department other than a totally useless whattsapp number to which willi the bot replies. Definitely not reccomended. The service is atrocious
I was stranded abroad in December 2021 and requested express overnight delivery of my laptop, thinking fedex was a multinational and reputable company i expected things to go smoothly, instead, 2 weeks and numerous follow up calls later my laptop still did not arrive, and then to my utter dismay i was informed on the day before my return to SA that while in fedex's care my laptop was stolen or removed from the box and an empty box was sent to me in dubai. I lodged a formal complaint after which Fedex apologized and admitted guilt or liability and an investigation will be opened, they later informed me that a laptop matching the description was found and that i needed to provide the serial number which appears on the laptop and box to confirm, i advised that the serial number is on bottom of laptop and box, both of which was in ther possession, i was then told that searches could not be conducted, the item was declared missing and that they have already submitted the claim and i will be paid out a settlement or compensation value of R1100. Which is not even 10% of the value of my laptop(macbook air). The service recieved from FedEx is shocking to say tje least, i strongly recommend that you do not use fedex south africa for any parcel delivery. Not only will they not honor the agreed or any reasonable delivery time frames, they will literally steal your items n deliver an empty box.
What a dissapointment. In the beginning they were the cheapest and offered great service. Soon after, the prices started to increase and the service started to drop, every couple of months i would recieve a notification that my debit amount will be increasing, at which point i would request cancelation as this was not agreed on at inception, rightfully or tactfully they would come back with a story and offer a discount to retain the business, but this started happening too frequently and they were pricing way above the market leaders and averages so as a matter of principles i informed them that i will no longer be using ther services and requested cancelation as of the month, which was paid in advance. I switched to a new service provider and have not used dashfibre services since, now 5 months later they are threatening with legal action and offering me a 50% discount if i settle 'arrears' on my account, my service was paid up to date while in use and canceled outside of the contractual period. Rather dissapointing. These small time companies are so desperate to make money they will try and say anything. Definitely not reccomended.
To my utter regret i purchased an apartment in a new development by calgro m3. The apartments n buildings were poorly constructed, using cheap materials n fixures. The toilet started leaking within months of occupation, to say the least. After numerous complaints n call out requests the matter was attended to 1 year later, n now they want to hold me liable for the water which was wasted, I had the pleasure of dealing with the xtremely unprofessional and unpleasant Alta van Heerden, who takes no accountability and is not willing to apologize or acknowledge when at fault. They are quick to issue warnings and fines and hand matters over to debt collectors but dont have the decency to apologize when at fault or actually perform due diligence or investigate or call and speak to clients before taking 'action'. An abuse of power, totally disgusted with approach of national letting and ther staff when dealing with matters.
Dont ever open a sports scene account, rather just get a credit card.. these mofos will harrass you to a point wher you deliberately dont pay your account cos you so annoyed. As soon as your account goes even 1 day in arrears they will sms, email and phone u every single day, they will sms n email on the 26th to say your account balance due please pay by the 1st or call to make arrangements, but then a caron from an outsourced collection agency will phone at 7am every single day, twice a day trying to get you give her a commitment day so she can get commission.. Its really so annoying that everytime i get this call i tell them that everytime you phone me i make a decision to delay payment untill you stop harassing me. The company doesn't realize howmuch this makes people hate them and actually makes people not want to pay.. Your business comes accross as desperate and pathetic and annoying like a bunch of hungry dogs. I must wake up to the sound of this **** about im a qualified call centre agent calling on behalf of sportscene. I can pay, but i dont want to, cos yous annoy me!
Old Mutual and their claims negotiator Moosa Nabbi are offering me an R11663 settlement amount for damages amounting to R105000 caused by ther client in a motor accident. As 3rd party claimant i was in no way at fault and am absolutely disgusted by the manner in which my claim is being handled, following the incident i was asked to obtain 3 quotations for repairs to my vehicle which i had to pay for and obtain at my own expense and inconvenience, its been 2 months and it appears old mutual and samoosa nabbi the so called negotiater they handed my matter over to has completely ignored my quotations, my efforts and my rights by obtaining ther own quotation based on a photo from a very poorly rated panel shop situated in the outskirts of the western cape, the quotation they based the final settlement on literally states *Check UNSEEN DAMAGES AS FOTOS ARE UNCLEAR and old mutual think its okay to offer this as a final settlement, while i have supplied 3 seperate quotations obtained by 3 professional repair shops upon and after actual inspection and evaluation of the damages to my vehicle. Im very dissapointed to find that this is the type of staff, tactics and partners a company like old mutual would employ. The company they wish to send my vehicle to and obtained ther 'quotation' has been accused of theft, poor workmanship and poor services, The so called negotiater Moosa Nabbi failed to empathize and recognize my position and the inconvenience caused. When speaking to him i was told that 'accidents happen' and 'we will deal with your claim within 45 days as stated in the tp letter we sent you'. Only to send me a lousy 10% settlement while admitting 100% liability .
