Extended waiting time for withdrawal
After waiting for 2 weeks, I’m told it will take 3 weeks to close my accounts… The process for withdrawal and closing my account is prolonged by several committees and approvals which were not there when I made a partial withdrawal 3 years ago. Discovery Invest is inventing additional steps seeing that I’m leaving them.

Car Claim progress updates slow & expensive
Claim number 3248007 has been awaiting for decision for much longer and this would impact when I will get my car back. This is my first interaction with Discovery Insure and its really slow and not updating their app on progress. I'm tired and more indebt from international calls to find out about claim progress.

3 months & still incomplete repairs
Can I have my car back or do I need to report it stolen by Eagle corner? My Ford Ranger (HH68PXGP) has been “in your shop for more than 3 months… I regret bringing my car there. I lost over R90k in business over your inconsideration and incompetence! I have to beg for feedback and none of the promises have been kept on its readiness. I even doubt you’re capable of the engine replacements. My only option is to involve law enforcement to getting my car back.

Continued harassment but not willing to share statements
I cannot understand this horrible approach of constantly harassing me to pay you even when I have. I settled the amount you mentioned plus extras last Nov 2020. Suddenly in February 2021 you want to siphon some more money from me. That’s ****** BS! SHARE THE STATEMENT THAT SAYS I OWE YOU... I will repeat this complaint daily on all channels until resolved.

Worst Security company swindling money from consumers!! BEWARE!
I got swindled R230 by NG when I cancelled my security services. When I cancelled everything with them (also from by others in our neighbourhood) they started with tricks to not lose all that income by threatening most residents with blacklisting... When I cancencelled, they did not indicate any outstanding monies during the notice period and suddenly, there's monies outstanding. Imagine R200!!

DELAY TACTICS - deceived on a purchase and refusing a JUST Refund
A week later and I still do not have a feedback on the deceptive product purchase and refusing me MY refund. I don't want further phone calls other than my refund. If you don't want to refund me, please put it in writing ! I requested a service from this now deceitful service provider. Do my VAT application - a simple request with a price next to it! Then the false advertising starts - to carry on with the VAT registration process you MUST purchae another SUBSCRIPTION product for R2,000. To which I declined and cancelled. You cannot coerce me to pay extra when you advertised for something else Then when I request for a refund they share a refund policy and force me to take up another product! How would I even trust you with another product??? Interestingly & now confirmed from the lack of progress response - only non-Blacks are taken seriously and given satisfactory service

Deceiving the consumer - A Refund policy only shared when there's a request for goods to be returned PLUS false advertising!!
I requested a service from this now deceitful service provider. Do my VAT application - a simple request with a price next to it! Then the false advertising starts - to carry on with the VAT registration process you MUST purchae another SUBSCRIPTION product for R2,000. To which I declined and cancelled. You cannot coerce me to pay extra when you advertised for something else Then when I request for a refund they share a refund policy and force me to take up another product! How would I even trust you with another product??? Interestingly, I just saw that Blacks are the ones that seem to have this complaint on Hellopeter about company partners... very interesting trend for consumer commission to look into...
