Webafrica fibre setup support is only available via web live chat and whatsapp. No tel support. I made payments in Dec 2024 and Jan 2025. Still no active fibre line. The whatsapp support provided me with tech instructions, IP addresses, WAN, ETHWAN, passwords, click broadband, menu, network settings etc. I am not a technical person. I needed real assistance. I'll give it another day then I'll cancel and look for a new fibre provider. Obviously I'll lose all the money that Webafrica took from me.

I see purchases on my RCS account that I do not recognize. I have been calling the rcs 0861 number for an hour now. The system is dysfunctional. It doesnt even recognize my ID number. When I FINALLY got to speak with an agent she asked mee 22 questions and then left me. I NEED TO SPEAK TO AN AGENT WHO CAN ASSIST ME!!
I have repeatedly tried to cancel my Getmore membership, with no success. I have tried to call, tried the web chat, tried cell c...nothing works. Please guys be very careful before you join. I'm sure you'll find, just like I did, that the benefits are completely overrated and you'll find it impossible to cancel. Can anybody help me. How can I cancel this junk?
I called Iwyze for a leaking water pipe in my roof. The leaking pipe caused ceiling damage. I think this was in the last week of March 2020, just when lockdown was introduced. Iwyze sent a plumber and the leaking pipe was sealed. Iwyze promised me that part two of that claim would be the fixing of the ceiling damage. During that first month of hard lockdown (April) Iwyze said contractors could not come out to fix the ceiling. In May 2020 I started to follow up with Iwyze with no success. Every time I call I get put through from pillar to post with no success. I try at least once a week to call. I tried to register the claim online, also with no success. I used the call-me-back option several times. Once I was actually called back but the operator could not assist and the call was cut. My ceiling is collapsing and I find it so far impossible to get Iwyze to send a contractor for repairs.
Booked a car for use in Cape Town for 7 days. The quote was good (R1851) and stated OPTIONAL extras like collision damage waiver (R81) Theft R27, Superwaiver R200, Glass R65 and Hail R56. When we got to the front desk the clerk gave us 3 options: No insurance = R1851 for the week BUT with R51 000 holding fee on credit card. Another one with R14 000 holding fee and then a R7000 holding fee. We took the R7000 holding fee option and paid R2581 for the week. Very sneaky quoting system Hertz has. We'll never use them again

Bought a Mobicell tablet via GameOnline on 21 June 2018. Worked well until apps started crashing one by one towards end July. Called Game and Mobicell and was advised that the software was outdated and need to return the tablet to Game to send to Mobicell as only mobicell can update the software. Booked the tablet in at Game Brooklyn on 3 August. Received sms on 20 August that tablet returned from repairs and ready for collection. As I was out of town asked my retired parents if they would do me a favour and collect. They went on the same day and was told at Game (Brooklyn) that the tablet was not in store. It was still en route to Mobicell. I called the store manager, Mr JP and he confirmed that the tablet was still en route to Mobicell and the sms was sent in error. I asked him about compensation for my parents for inconvenience, parking and petrol. We agreed on R200 compensation, whether in voucher or whatever and I was happy with that. Received sms on 23 August that tablet is booked in again for repair. Received sms today, 6 Sept that tablet is ready for collection. I go through and after about 20 minutes wait the clerk appears with the tablet. On opening, we find the screen is damaged. Looks like glue or something that wasn't there when I booked in the tablet. The clerk calls Mr. JP who sends a 2nd in charge. Did not get his name but most arrogant and unhelpful man. The tablet is now re-booked for further repairs. I have been without tablet since 3 August (actually because the software was outdated I could not use it since end July). I have made peace that Game Brooklyn has stolen this tablet from me. They have made fools of my parents and me. I have wasted so much time and petrol it is not worth going back for it anymore. Once fixed, Mr JP can do with this tablet what his heart desires. I will purchase a new tablet elsewhere and have written off that money, plus the additional time, petrol and parking as a dead loss.
Mr Putter is much more than your common scammer. He is a thief and a coward. Once you paid him he will for months promise delivery, but he will not deliver. As soon as he gets annoyed with your constant follow ups and he runs out of lies and excuses, he will stop responding to your messages and not answer his phone.
