Absolute negligence. I serviced my car here in December. In January, a petrol attendant checked my fluids and found there was no oil in the engine. I was forced to buy oil immediately to avoid catastrophic engine damage—something that could have been completely avoided if this service centre had done their job. When I reported this, management admitted the technician who worked on my car had been fired for negligence, meaning this clearly wasn’t the first incident. They agreed to redo the oil change but refused to reimburse me for the oil I had to buy because of their mistake. I was expected to absorb the cost of their incompetence. To make matters worse, the person I dealt with was unprofessional and dismissive throughout the process. This level of carelessness could have destroyed my engine. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting this service centre with their vehicle.
Submitted my claim almost a month ago, I don’t know who is the worst between Santam and the repair centre. I constantly have to ask for updates as they don’t proactively update me. My car was towed away and I had to ask around to find out where my car was towed to or being repaired as no one had informed me. Claim has been “authorised” but I have no visibility on what the damage is, what is being repaired or replaced. I have asked for this several times but I can’t seem to get feedback. I also don’t have an ETA on when the repairs will be completed.
I was robbed INSIDE KFC Ferndale on the 3rd of September and staff didn’t even know where the security guard was. After looking for they assumed that he had gone home. Worst part is that KFC doesn’t really care, I received ONE phone call regarding this and they promised to investigate the matter and calm me back. 11 days nobody has called me, I have sent emails and no one has replied.
Yesterday Audi Northcliff sold us a car that has a nail in the back tyre. We immediately brought this to their attention, John the manager came and saw the tyre himself. His solution was that the tyre will be plugged which I told him is unacceptable as in this case we need a new tyre. He has refused to see reason both him and Mark whom I assume is the dealer principal. This is the worst service I expected from a brand that deem themselves to be a “Premium Brand”. What was supposed to be a milestone has turned into tears for my girlfriend!
FNB will allow fraudulent debits on your account and when you call them they will tell you they cant reverse it and YOU must call the company YOURSELF and find out what the debit is for? In the mean time they allowed it to happen. Is our money safe? Can FNB be trusted?
King Price has decided to debit me on two occasions even though i have NOT received delivery of a vehicle! Last week Friday I asked to cancel the policy (which was supposed to be a quote only). It was cancelled but they still debited the next day. on the 19th of October they did the same. This is fraud and i want my money paid back NOW, not tomorrow or the day after.
On the 15th I placed an order for a gift which was supposed to be delivered today. I emailed Takealot yesterday as I could see that the order was not dispatched yet, but didn't receive a reply. Today I called them to find out if everything was still in order only to be told that they only placed my order with their supplier on the 21st and moments later my order was cancelled because there was no stock. Question is when would I have been notified had I not called? What do I do now as this was a gift meant to be delivered today? This is a huge let down
One of the worst services I have ever come across. There's an item that I wanted to purchase on Monday but they didn't have the size that I needed, so the sales consultant promised to check other stores for me and call me. Three days had passed with no feed back, so I decided to call the store on Thursday. I called twice and both times the sales consultants refused to give me their names, were not helpful and hung up on me. when I tried calling a third time no one picked up the phone.
Telkom suspended my partners cellphone contract only to find out the fault is on their side and we have actually over paid for the contract. Today is the 24th of the month and the matter has not be resolved still, which means month end we must pay again for an account that hasn’t operated for an entire month. The call centre or store staff are useles, they can’t give us proper information or assistance. All we hear from them is “we need 72 hours” and it’s been a whole month now. If you are thinking of opening a contract with Telkom please don’t, you will get frustrations and incompetent staff!
I have to say that the NYDA is rather useless and provide no assistance at all. I have been waiting for nearly four months now for them to provide training for me but I have not heard a thing from them. I have been to their branch three times already and they just pass the buck to SEDA.
