Worst customer service I've ever had from this store. Bought a Gas Heater + Cylinder from them online, gas cylinder is faulty. Called and spoke to Louisa (Online Consultant), then Wynand (Gas Cylinder Consultant) who confirmed I'm not the only with this type of complaint, then Jessica Switchboard. All either promise to call you back they sorting out the issue but never do. I'm still stuck with a non working product with no one to talk to. My last option is to drive from Joburg to Pretoria to face them and spend more money on trasport fees just to solve this matter.
Just received the worst service at TecsaReco Roodepoort Branch. Went there to buy washing machine bearings. I didn't have a sample so I used my machine Serial Number to check the part online. The coloured cashier eventually agreed to check for me after harshly refusing. Stood up went to the back to fetch the parts, took my card payment and gave me the 2 boxes. Something told me to open the boxes and double check, turns out they were too big for my machine. Luckily another client with a similar machine came in and gave me the correct numbers. Now this is where the problem starts, asked the lady to please exchange the bearings for the correct ones. She says no more stock for me as the other guy took the last ones. I'm like ok please refund me. She says "I don't have cash in my till come back tomorrow", another white guy came to her and told her to do a EFT Return form. She said NO, too much work, he must come tomorrow. Then a concerned white client told her "Mam you are aware you being very unprofessional and unfair to this client?", Where is your float? Silence. Call your manager! My manager is not here, give him a call. Silence, Then the gentleman told me infront of her to report her to Hello Peter. I said good idea, asked for her name she refused, she went under the desk and suddely she gave me my money. I said "how about that???? I'm contacting Hello Peter regardless". And left.
My Card got hacked and used in a place I don’t even go to, I suddenly received an SMS notification from Uber Eats Parktown for payment. I called Standard immediately, they blocked and cancelled the card immediately and promised to send another one in a week or so for free. They will then investigate and refund me if the case is legit. To this day no call regarding the investigation or my card delivery, it’s more than a month now.

Bad LTE Support from Axxess. I have a LTE modem with Axxess for some years now, but every now and then during the month our connection is very weak or non existent at all. We going towards 2 weeks now with no LTE Connection. All that support centre says is that all is fine on their side, problem could be my modem/router or where it sits, but when I use a different network sim everything is fine. And this modem is sitting same place it’s always been all this time. Currently it shows 1 bar 3G. Thinking of switching service providers as I’m paying for nothing now, especially since I work from home with no internet.
We booked a Bus Ticket from JHB to Durban to Depart on 30/01/2024 @ 9pm, on our way to the station roughly 2hrs to 9pm, we get a SMS message saying Trip Cancelled for Technical Issues, thanx for understanding! On top of that no alternate time frame when the next one will be. Tried calling their number 012 001 1122 and it's dead! Sent an email to: support@busbud.com, no answer yet. Sent a message to their Facebook no luck aswell!
Got to the Spice Counter, checked the price and picked up the product, off I went to the Till, after paying I checked the slip and the price is extra, asked the lady to please go back to the shelves to check if I made a mistake, took a photo and went back. The lady agreed something is wrong and suggested we call the supervisor, I said aggg it's not necessary it's ok since I already paid. She said No Sir let's find out what's going on and insisted calling the Supervisor. Now this is where the problem started, the female supervisor comes and looks at my slip and the photo I took and says: The price you talking about is for a different item not this one, I said but it's under the product I took, then she says "hey it's not our fault that the price is wrong, it's the Packers fault don't be mad at us!", I said, I was merely asking why the price is different, instead of explaining to me why you telling me it's packers fault? I noticed we were creating attention and decided to drop the conversation and walk away. I buy there daily and I'm very ****ed at her attitude!
Unfairly charged excess on account, got penalised 3 items I made when there was money in my account, my account went in negative due to Bank Charges, a few days later, now FNB tells me they took the money for the items I had recently made to cover their own bank charges, then penalised me for being over when these merchants made their banking a few days later! Not fair! Called business banking and the guys didn't give a damn! Closing this account!
Awesome Customer Care @ Dis-Chem North Gate Mall!! We have a newborn in the house, Dis-Chem called and arleted us that we have a Gift, a Baby Bag. At first I was skeptical that it's probably those cheap looking low quality bags. But I was curious so I went, well, I was wrong!! What a lovely bag, Big, High Quality, Awesome Design! That's not all, inside there was awesome baby goodies, Nappies, Wipes to name a few! Very Happy Client
Just opened a new account with these guys and I already regret doing so, just in my first month of usage they already force charging me penalty fees unnecessarily. In short, e.g. Balance available = R100, you go to a merchant to buy for R99, purchase approved. Couple of days later you check your balance you now owing -R100, called Keamohetswe at Customer Care explained the situation, she tells me the merchant banked late, I was roughly R2 short due to bank charges when they did their banking and Stardard Bank Penalized me and that there's nothing she can do about it. I'm gonna close this account! I wonder how many elderly people fall for this **** making such institutions rich. I don't have debit orders in this account, if they honored a debit order for me on a negative balance I would understand, but in my case I used my own money, otherwise transection would have been declined!
