I made use of a travel agent in 2023 and they used my details to register for skywards , now , I can’t retrieve any of my details , I cant even sign up because my details were used elsewhere. Please delete my details off the system to enable me to create a new skywards account . I tried raising an issue online but it needs details like flights etc which are not relevant to this . It’s very difficult to contact emirates skywards directly.
My complaint is still not being attended to despite numerous escalations . My fibre cable is faulty, I work from home , it’s been 4 days since I reported the incident , no feedback , no sms I’m being kept in limbo . I’ve lost 4 days of productive work , I am being billed for this service but no one cares to even give me a call and apologise .
Useless people who keep passing the buck , drag their feet , and don’t even know the hell they are doing when they do the installations. The did the cabling on my garden which doesn’t make sense coz that area is prone to tampering whenever we water or cut the grass . I waited 3 days for cable replacement and they told me to wait another week . The technicians who come only come to look at the fault instead of fix it . Their technicians expect to do side jobs and make money on the side instead of following processes , or lack thereof ..
My mother is a pensioner , a few weeks ago she was harassed by people who claim to be calling from Tyme bank , she declined their requests a few times until this one time they called minutes before her state pension would be paid . Out of panic , my mother answered and believed the story that someone is committing ***** on her account and that they would be assisting her to prevent that from happening .They managed to access her bank account as soon as the money came in and cleaned every cent .We opened a case but Tyme bank has not bothered to call and explain their findings , they only sent her an sms to say she compromised her details when they too had compromised her because the person who called already had her details , knew the exact minute the money would be coming in, and knew how their system works . On the basis of age , they could have investigated and dealt with this matter differently and sensitively .My mother was in distress, her blood pressure went up and had no penny as she only survived on this grant . She was forced to go to sassa and stand in those long queues again to change her banking details because we cannot trust Tyme bank anymore .
I wanted to settle my loan earlier this month , I didn’t have the full amount but I paid enough to make sure that what’s left is almost close to the instalment amount . I paid R130K on a balance of R143k . Meaning I’m left with R13k to close off the account . Capitec charged me interest of R3000 on a balance of R13K which is too much as I have reduced the debt quite substantially. This interest is equivalent to what they used to charge me before I made R140K payment . That cannot be legal , the interest is too much ! I’ve had another loan a revolving facility where they did the same thing . I want my money back ! Enough with ****ming people capitec !
I logged a debit card disputes on the 16th of Sept 2021, supplied all the info as requested. Since then , nothing has been communicated to me despite numerous emails that I sent , despite having escalated the matter to retail service recovery - two areas within the bank just sitting on the matter and doing nothing . My emails are ignored , when I phone I'm sent from pillar to post , then they cut off my calls. Fnb is a very useless bank. They don't care about customers, the people working from home are lazy and useless. It's been two months , their service promise of resolving the matter within 5 budinesss days is just a myth.
i'm writing this complaint because I've had no joy with my experience with africanbank complaints department and debt review department . in Nov I was called by a consultant who offered me a settlement discount (for the second time,since the first time I could not make the last installment of the settlement amount which was to be debited over two months to settle the account). The consultant quoted me and an arrangement was made to pay the last installment of the initial settlement outstanding amount over an additional period of two months. the first debit order went off on 20/11/2019 for R7160 WHICH IS HALF THE AMOUNT .I managed to make the second payment R7160 ON 25/11/2019 five days after the debit order ,meaning the account was supposed to have been closed before the next debit order date. I called to make sure the account was closed I was told it wasn't. I logged a complaint after several attempts to get someone who was capable to do a proper investigation on the second call where the last settlement quote was done . I was told they were investigating who did the settlement quote (this is even on their notes on the system) and that they will listen to the actual call and advise. To date no one has bothered to listen to the call , or maybe they did they just don't want to accept responsibility and liability for the wrong settlement quoted if that's the case they must be transparent about it . I spoke to Maneo in DC Dept who was clueless , she was lazy to check the dates on the system and asked me the date when I was called as if I remember all the dates for each call I receive on my phone. She didn't demonstrate on willingness to resolve my issue , she kept quiet on the phone for longer than a minute then put the phone down on me . Nontando whom I believe was handling my complaint failed to send me feedback which i requested on email, she even refused to call me for the third time because on two occasions when she called I was in meetings .I want African bank to listen to that call, after that they must refund me R3418 which is the debit order amount they debited on 13/12/2019 after the account was supposed to have been closed .
settlement figure is more than the balance . asked for a statement and breakdown of the amount,no response from Bontle who is handling my account. Asked for legal fees breakdown to no avail, i dont know why my account was handed over since i specifically asked for the instalment due date to be changed from 15th to 25th because of changes in my salary date . I asked bontle what i can do to make sure my car is not repossesed,she said theres nothing she can do,she didn't want to help. Even now ive been waiting for her to explain this settlement figure she quoted to no avail, no answer on the line when i call. Wesbank cannot charge me legal fees when the account was paid on the date agreed and no legal work was carried out on the account as the lawyers confirmed the balance was zero when the file was given to them.

Hardly 2/3 weeks, my car started leaking oil, i took it back to them because i didn't understand why my car would leak oil just after they did an oil service, they told me that it wasn't them who caused the leak. I had to pay to repair the leak. And now, hardly 5 months after doing that service and fitting the brake pads, my car is making a sound when i brake , a sign that the brake pad i fitted 5 months ago are finished. I've only traveled less that 20 000 km, how can that be?</p>
