I ordered a few items from Temu and the parcel was given to Speedaf (Meili Logistics), a different courier from the one they’ve used for my previous orders. A few days ago, I received an exorbitant bill for VAT & Duty Amount to be paid but proceeded to the payment point as I need my goods. I’ve now tried to pay that bill 4 times, but after my bank sends an SMS asking me to approve the payments, the transactions fail. I’ve spoken to my bank and they said that the problem comes from Speedaf. I’ve tried to contact both Temu (where I’ve only been able to interact with a useless Bot) and Speedaf, who provided me with a phone number to contact, but after well over 10 attempts over 3 days, nobody has ever answered my calls. They don’t respond to my emails of WhatsApp messages either. It appears I’ll never receive my package, a real problem as I can’t buy those goods elsewhere. I also wonder whether I’ll ever get a refund. An order from Temu made a week earlier was delivered by a different courier and arrived promptly. If Temu continue to use Speedaf, I won’t be able to buy from them again. It’s a pity as I have a long list of items which I was planning to buy in the future.

I've been waiting for a parcel from Temu and a Buffalo driver tried to deliver it on Friday, while nobody was home. I spoke to the driver on the phone and he said he'd phone me on Monday morning. As today (Monday) was the only day I could guarantee I'd be home, I waited home all day, but didn't hear from him. In the meanwhile I wasted hours trying to contract their telephone or online support, but all I got was BOTS that told me my parcel would be delivered within the next 24-48 hours. Eventually I phoned the driver who said my parcel had been returned to the warehouse and he'd phone me when he gets it back. As my schedule for the next few days is pretty busy with appointments that can't be changed, how can I be sure I'll ever receive it? I'll be reluctant to order from Temu again.

The first Milex product I bought was an Intellivac 3-in-1 Robot Vacuum. It works, well sort of. It’s more trouble than it’s worth. It constantly tells me to clean the main brush, even immediately after I’ve cleaned it. Sometimes restarting it will convince it to work for a while, but I have to chase it around the house to keep restarting it which defeats the purpose of a robot vacuum. As I suffer from chronic leg pain, this is a major problem. Using a normal vacuum would be easier. Unfortunately I didn’t think to return it while it was still under guarantee. Not that it would have helped, to judge by other reviews I’ve read. I had “better” luck with my second purchase - a blender. It died after a week and I was able to return it. I won’t be buying anything from Milex again.
My mother passed away in March after spending about 2 weeks in a Netcare hospital, followed by a short period at a step-down facility. Her medical aid covered most of her expenses but there was a small amount outstanding. Since then I've had numerous calls about the money my mother owes them and I keep telling the callers to contact the lawyer dealing with her estate, but apparently nobody has bothered to do so. Today was the last straw when I got a call from a debt collection company over an amount of approximately R200. At least they seem to be taking me seriously as they've asked for a copy of her death certificate. But Netcare have put me through a lot of unnecessary stress when I'm still struggling to cope with my emotional loss.

I've just wasted a whole afternoon trying without success to speak to SARS complaints department. When I called I was number seven in the queue, but they were operating extremely slowly. I eventually reached number one, but at exactly 119 minutes and 59 seconds the call cut off before I was able to speak to a consultant. I tried again and was put back into the queue but apparently they closed just after I called, leaving me receiving a message that I was still in the queue for the next two hours. Once more the call was eventually cut off when the time limit was reached. How can I call them if Telkom won't allow me to hold on long enough for my call to be taken?

DirectAxis keeps spamming me with unwanted SMSs. I've blocked countless numbers from which I've received their messages but the problem persists. Please stop!!!!!!!!
