I wish to compliment this company on the way they handle customers warranty claims. Having had a problem with our vacuum cleaner I phoned them and was expecting the usual runaround, instead I dealt with a very competent and professional lady Ms Vuyiseka, who communicated with me well by phone and SMS regarding the progress of my claim.
I find their website very poor to use to make bookings and also very hard to navigate. I did receive an email stating they had held my return booking from CT to London and yet when I went on the site it stated there were no flights. After trying to use their online "Bot" it referred me back to using their online website.
Being a first time buyer from Temu, I was somewhat wary about the transaction. I was then informed my Temu my parcel was with Skynet and gave me a tracking number. Sadly the information given on their website tracking portal is very poor as I was initially informed customs payment had not been affected by me, when it had. Further follow-up was then done by the sites Bot, which again was pathetic and the information give by the Bot was the parcel had been delivered which it clearly had not. I was then subjected to a Bot loop giving the same info over and over again when I asked for a POD as they said they would contact me by email which never happened. Eventually I contacted their Customer careline and after selecting the dedicated Temu consultant, I hung on the line for over 8 minutes. The person who answered was most helpful but Management need to review their interface with customers and provide more human assistance for a service that the customer needs quick and accurate information.
LATEST ANDROID APP UPDATE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. :- Since the latest update from the new runners of Ithuba, their android app is dysfunctional (Google same for AI results). Worse still Ithuba are not responding to written and phoned in queries and at one stage told me the problem must be my devise. As I and many others are not able to play their Eaziwin, they must also be losing a lot of money, but don't care. Just three problems I experience are 1. Not able to play Eaziwin unless I follow their message that I have to rotate my phone? 2. To check historic results after putting in a range of dates, the dates are greyed out. 3. Checking of outstanding or pending tickets does not work. It should be noted that these 3 incidents do work on their desktop app.
National Lottery App update NOT working on Android phones. Whilst I have finally managed to login the app no longer allows me to play the Eaziwin games and states I must "rotate my phone", It only displays old info regarding lotto winning numbers, when I try to reinstall the app Google says it can't. It is not available on the Google Playstore anymore. Worst still Customer Care state they have now fixed all the problems and issues must now be with my device, yet I have tried all of the above on my wifes phone with same results. Why did the new Ithuba release a new "better" app without fully testing it? and now they are dismissive of all complaints which indicates they intend to do nothing more.
I often wonder why some businesses bother using their websites for one to query quotes etc. Autoworks Milnerton is a typical one, as a week ago, I requested via the Internet to quote me a cost to fix a blown cylinder head gasket. Using this method, one cannot load images or videos of the problem and once one has pressed send against my comments, there is no reference of traceability of my request. Needless to say I have still not received an answer, whilst other workshops came back to me the next day.
Excellent service when upgrading my contract phone.
Having tried twice to use Amazons online purchasing site, this has to be one of the worst ones to navigate in S.A. Very poor missleading information when querying staightforward queries (e.g. info on their FIRST100 purchase scheme, trying to speak to "Customer Service" and having to waiti a long queue, when one does get through to a Custmer service one is told it is only for courier queries. Finally having managed (after many frustrating attempts) to open up and account in my wifes name and logging in, ALL the prices quoted are in dollars and not Rands.
Whilst one expects Builders Warehouse to have market related or competitive prices, on two random items I checked this week, their selling price was far higher than my local (and other) hardware stores. e.g. :- 1.Tubular steel J bracket Builders price was R89 and the local hardware was R60. 2. Woodoc exterior penetrating oil 1 ltr. Builders price R299 local hardware R215.
