Purchased an item that was Faulty, when returning it, Evobikes said it was not. I asked for a refund and as they say the item is not faulty they would charge me 10% handling fee which I would have taken so I can just move on. Evobikes convinced me to have it sent to the manufacturer to test and that it would not take long to which I agreed. It is now a week later with not a word from them, it has been up to me to do the following up. They still have no answers so just going to take the refund as there is no knowing how long they will take. Would caution against purchasing online from this store, if there is an issue it gets messy. Also, check other stores, there are many that do not have a 10% return policy.
Every few months I receive an Invoice from Vumatel for the line installation. I paid it the first time I had received and sent the proof of payment, yet they continue to send an invoice, every time I reply with my proof of payment and history of previous requests of for payment, but never get any feedback, just another invoice a few months later. I have tried phoning accounts, they don’t take calls, you can only leave a message asking them to phone you back, and of course they do not phone you back. Can this please be resolved before you cut me off.
I contacted Damian Rushton on the 26th October to request an account be transferred. I was sent the forms to be completed and returned them. Since then all emails requests on progress have been ignored and when phoning I get promises that it will be done, the last promise made on Friday the 24th was that it would be done yesterday, but still not a word from Damian. It has been a very frustrating experience trying to deal with Damian, he is hurting the Vox brand.
After two applications for fiber going missing the third is finally on the system but the status is ‘pending ISP application’ everyone I phone at Vumatel says that it is the ISP and the ISP says it is a problem at Vumalel, this results in nothing happening. I have Made numerous phone calls with many promising to sort it out and phone me back. As yet, no one has phoned and the status has not changed.

Not at all happy, the wheel burst due to a broken suspension on the rented trailer, leaving my family (with a 4 year old) and I stranded on the side of the road. When contacting Trailarent, they simply said that I had signed the contract and it was my responsibility and my problem on how I was going to get the trailer back. No concern and no backup whatsoever.

After hours of my time, extra incurred expenses and a whole lot of frustration I managed to get the trailer back. Luckily I had taken photos of the trailer when I had picked it up and you can see that the wheel was too far back due to the broken suspension causing it to rub against the chassis, resulting in the burst tyre. If it were not for the photo I would have landed up paying for the damages. They still charged me the day’s rental, they could have at least made the gesture of returning that but all they had to say was that I still had the trailer for a day.

Never again.

I have about 5GB of a data bundle left but i am still getting almost daily charges for data, logged a call with MTN 2 weeks ago and have had no response.

Very frustrating, there is a dont care attitude from MTN.
I have had the most issues in the shortest space of time with Afrihost mobile than with any other provider. From misleading marketing to lack of response to support, unable to purchase airtime, unusual charges, incorrect charges.

Non of these are resolved, they are just fogged off or passed to MTN. It is really sad, when Afrihost was bought by MTN, they got the MTN culture.
I have a credit card with standard bank on which I requested the Credit limit be R 100 some time ago as I want the convenience of the card but do not want to get myself into any debt. This week, due to standard bank transactions on the card taking so long to reflect on the statement the card went over my R 100 limit, by about R 160. This has apparently happened in the past as well so now they have suspended the card for 3 months.

I think it is ridiculous, I put a few thousand through the card every month but because I go over my R 100 limit occasionally, which while my fault would be less likely to happen if transactions reflected timeously, the card has now been suspended.

Very frustrating bank, on the card I used before this one, if I ever went over I would get a friendly call asking that I fund the account, which I did and life carried on. Standard bank on the other hand sends me threatening SMSs and suspends the card.
I tried towards the end of last year to get a quote on a service for my Volvo, I requested via email from around various Volvo dealers around JHB, not one of them replied, other than one saying that they would send me a quote shortly, that was a few weeks ago.

However I did manage to finally get a quite by walking into a Volvo dealer, to my surprise, they Quoted me over R 6000.00 for essentially a minor service, oil, filers and spark plugs. While I image other car makes are also expensive, I find this excessive.

I contacted Volvo SA commenting on the absurdity of the price of an oil change and that has also pretty much been ignored.

I would rather go to Volvo but doing so is would just leave be feeling ripped off when the same can be done for a lot less elsewhere.
