Pity that you have to give a star! On Thursday 18 December I got a mail from Openserve to follow up on a mail that I sent 10 days earlier. Within a few minutes a new mail was sent, that said that if you don't reply within 3 days, the case will be closed. I sent a mail on the 18th(same day). Today when I did another query, I was told the case was closed! Wow, so between Open serve and Vodacom, I am still without wifi! Absolutely pathetic service delivery!
On 28 November 2025 I took out a new fibre contract. The very next day I received my router. However, now I have been waiting for technical support, which is missing in action. The standard answer, after numerous calls, is, You will be contacted by an agent shortly! The first lady that I spoke to, did nothing! The last one actually send me the attached escalation reference number. I had a contract with another service provider which also uses Openserve, however, the ONT is not automatically transferred. Maybe I should just cancel my contract, as I don't get service from these people?
Telkom fibre is spotty at best. Now I wish to cancel my contract. However, it is an impossible task, as you have to have a line number to be able to do that! I don't have a line number, only fibre! Their AI is so useless. I have now tried for 2 hours to just find out how to cancel and what it is going to cost me! I will never do business with Telkom again.
I have been a subscriber of DSTV since forever. However, I can see why they are losing millions of customers! You report a problem with programs and they acknowledge it and then nothing! Their customer service is probably in the bottom 3% in a country that boasts some of the worst customer service in the world!
What a wonderful little place. They are the local absolute favorite coffee shop. The setting is peaceful and beautiful with great food and drinks. The personel are friendly and helpful. Just an allround wonderful experience.
My experience with this company leaves much to be desired. They don't contact you per phone when they want to make a delivery, they just pitch up. So although you are close by, they cannot deliver your package. So you either wait 3 days for a Fast delivery or you miss your delivery. Really poor customer service. And trying to contact them is also a waste of time. I phoned at 9h30 and their message said their office hours is from 8h30 or such.
Telkom accounts. It has been more than a year since my account has been reliable. After many phone calls, today the lady actually put the phone down in my ear, because I was getting upset!
Today we needed to visit Geyserwise Centurion. Never in our lives have we experienced this quality of service. The friendliness, efficiency, quality of service was out of this world. So glad to be able to report that we still have businesses that take pride in their business. Thank you again, Gavin and your lovely personnel. Standard bank has the worst customer service, especially for overseas customers that still have interests in South Africa! Impossible to access your account if you have a problem. My daughter spend a 77NZ dollar on the phone with the international helpline and in the end they tell her she has to go to her nearest branch! Duh! She is living in New Zealand! Where is the nearest St bank branch, please?
What a frustration to work with Microsoft and if you are an older person without the knowledge of the younger generation, you are in big trouble. "You need to fix your Microsoft account" However, if you try to do that, they send the code to an incomplete phone number(the country code as well as the 0 at the beginning is dropped), so you never receive your code! Microsoft - woohoo! Pathetic!
