I normally rate courier guy well , but lately well they seem to be sliding down the same hill the SA government is on. I recently bought a package from Aerial concepts. It was marked with the for my province but they sent it to Mpumalanga. Now two towns with the same names. it happens...... BUt it was the way they handled it. Not what can we do but just excuses and abrupt brush off. ( oh and pay if you want it redirected its not our fault. despite the clear provincial code.) On the other hand I phone aerial concepts their response is opposite. no excuses just , what can we do. what would you like us to do, how can we make it right. No nonsense about whose fault it is.... 5 and a half stars for Aerial COncepts.

Firstly I upgraded my small second emergency contact and the sim didnt work. Even after I told them I live 400km, they tell must go into a shop buy a new card and get a sim swop. What are they half wits, I must travel 400 kms because they cant do their job properly in the first place and have no physical presence in most towns. Some many months later I still cant get them to get it to work. There is no resolution and they dont care that they take my money and dont do anything. They simply say "we cant do a sim swop online. ..... BUT they can sell online and not provide service or resolution for their mistakes. BUT to make it worse: My main contract them expries and I need another one. What should happen . Telkom upgrades and send a new phone with a new sim card. They Diligently cut off the old sim and fail to activate the new one. The best they can tell me is it is activated so should be working.. I can assure any one it is not. THere is no network connection. I then Have to buy a new sim and spend money to try and phone them to solve it. They first past me from pillar to post telling me the other group of Telkoms people are responsible. BUT to make matters worse they simply put the phone down on me. NOT once, not twice but 4 times. Days later I and now I have two contracts that I am paying for and no service. I would love to know which lawyers I could turn to. They keep telling I must go to a telkom shop. After selling me the upgrade and knowing I live some 400kms away from the nearest shop. There is no Telkom shop nearby to activate the sim or swop it for a working one. This is illegal and fraudelant. Two contracts and no service. plus the people who answer the phone a useless, they, who have idea to whom they should turn. NOW today the first upgrade is still not working and they take my money and just palm me off as it is now my problem. blatant fraud and theft. I havnt used a minute or even a byte of data. Now I sit with the same on another contract. ICASA or broadcast complaints board dont do anything as I have turned to them in the past. WHO do we turn to. I have been exptremely patient with the failed first updgrade and now the repeat, they deserve this scathingly bad report. AND BEWARE other people. If you live in a smaller town with no telkom shop. YOU cannot get a swim swop. IT is over R1600 in petrol to the nereast big center never mind the wear and tare on my car and my time . Telkom please pay me travelling and time so I can spend the day riding to the nearest telkom shop.
This is definitly a dark review and it is well deserved. I order online as I live in a small town and the specialised materials I need are only readily availlble in the larger centers. The companies who use courier 'Fastway' should really consider changing their logistics provider. Once again they sent my parcel to the wrong town, granted it with same but one would imagine after I expressly put a "please note" in the comment sections they would get it right. I was checking my orders for the last 4 months and it seem they manage to get it a 100% wrong. 5/5 well done at least they are consistant. It is obvious why they get in wrong, they even have the mIdeelburg contact person in Mpumalanga as the same contact person for the Eastern Cape. If they are so badly geograhically orientated, why on earth are they doing logisitics. Surely they should know the Geography of South Africa as a minimal requirement for a person who works in this field.
With more and more business having onlines sales I recognise that email and telephone call loads have massively increased. People see something online and still want to check or ask a question, and I imagine like me they want answers pretty quickly. I phoned this company and they treated me as if I was the only person who had phoned all day, yet I know they are flooded with p[hone calls. I emailed daily regarding a product becasue I was in a hurry and with covid things were going slow, yet they still remained postive and courteous in dealing with my anticipation. My product was still on its way to the shop and they were already organsing the courier. It was despatched almost immediatly and arrived promplty. Thanks for the good service and keeping me updated.
I recently bought some material for a project I was building. A large 3D foam cnc machine. I live in a small town in teh Karoo so its not jsut a case of popping in tot he store. It has to be couriered. There were lots of things in the order so when it arrived I left it till I had time to unpack and put everything in the right place. I only noticed 4 days later when doing this one of the items had been left out. It stressed me as I had to now phone and ask them to check. Knowing the many unscrupulous people out there I wasnt really expecting a good reply. However I was really encouraged with there friendly manner and how quickly they got he missing part to me. It made me put my next order through them as well and when I unpacked this time there was something extra. They had put in a package marked Gift Not a cheap one either. There prices are good and their service excellent.
Living in a small town can sometimes be frystrating, Most city dwellers dont think twice when they need to pop down to the shopas and pick up something. If by chance they cant get it at one store the are many more to visit. THis isnt so in a small town. So it is always a pleasant experience when you need things and the the shops have it. There is the times when even the big cities run out and they tell you a couple of days to two weeks. So when I po[pped into the pharacy and they said they didnt have what I needed I expected a few days wait. However they said they next day and the next day it was there deleivered to my door. Now thats serivice.
I recently had the unfortunate oppurtunity to have to visit a automobile glass fitment center. It was however plesantly reviving. I took the car in and even before the insurance had responded they were ready to go. This is despite the fact they had to get the part. There were only wo people there but they worked that effeciently that I didnt really have to wait. They prodded the insureance and a short while later I received an sms to say all was ready. I like the way the sms's kept me informed as to the process. Well done PG Glass MIddelburg Eastern Cape.
My wife recently switched to LTE Business with Vodacom due to a move. Both her and I need a good speed line and their is no new adsl and no fibre in the town we moved to. We are literally across the road from the tower. I can stare out the lounge window and the tower looms clearly. The sad thing we have had Deterioratingly bad speeds sice our connetion. It seems it is no use complaining. Examples: My wife asked for services to be added. She did an online application. These just mysteriously vanished. -It has taken over three months to get a simple answer regarding VOIP. -We have asked why we cant get a better ping, we are lucky if we can even get through and then not be dropped half way through your enquiry. NOT once or twice but consistantly now for three months. -There is no full size shop here in our small town only and agency and they have had problems getting support. So 3 months later we still have no VOIP line. -Then when we are about to go on lock down and documents need to be sent so we can published them for the community Vodacoms system almost comes to a halt. I am getting speeds less than what I would get if I was using the old dial system. They have had days to fix up and get ready, but when they cant even supply good service under normal circumstances how are they going to even come near meeting the need under exceptional circumstances. They take a presons money but then dont deliver. For all those suffering the fate of bad service it might be time to unite our efforts in a joint class action suite against them. One person cant afford challenging them in court but if we threw our resources into a pool, we stand a chance. We need to start holding the large coporations accountable. They dont even care whne they recieve bad ratings on Hullo Peter. I have read and encoutned numerous accounts of peoples complainst and no resolution. Sift through the comments on Hullo Peter and it is clear they do not care. ( apologies for text, grammatical and spelling errors, the review pane is very small which makes it hard to check for errors.)
Hard working team. Big move, I have many tools, piles of specialsed wood and many boxes of books and musical instruments. On top of that we had the usual but in larger numebrs of very large pictures and mirrors. It all arrived safely. they were friendly and worked very hard at insuring it was safely placed in our home. the only thing broken was something I moved in my car. I should have given it to them, thanks Moolman and to your team.
