Absolute nightmare to close this account. They phone me daily from 7am - 7pm when I answer no one talks. I've been requesting a settlement for 2 weeks now and still nothing ! Do not waste your time or money opening an account, you will have endless problems and continues interest added to you account with now possibility of closing it.
Took a loan with this company,was advised settlement amount to close. Paid the settlement to them, after 2 months of not receiving a paid up letter they come back with another amount that is owing on the account(error on their system apparently). Since then they have been adding interest and handed me over after informing them that I paid and proving proof of payments showing account was paid in full. This compnay is greedy, once you have taken a loan with them You will always be a prisoner, having to constantly pay amounts to an account that has been paid up. All because they refuse to issue a paid up letters.
DO not sign up for this service, not only do you battle with connection every month but they will continue to bill your account monthly even after you have cancelled. I cancelled my contract the 1st October 2021(Month-to-month), on the rain website it registered as 31st October 2021. The consultant said, it doesn't matter when you cancel it will always go to the end of the month. SO i got debited end of October even though my service was cancelled. Please bear in mind that the service in billed i advance. Today i was debited again, when i phoned in again to find out why, they said im being billed in arrears.How is this possible after being billed in advance for over a year can it change to arrears!!! they still have my banking details on their system, the next debit is already set for 25th December. I will have to change my entire banking account in order to avoid loosing R 500 every month for a service that i am not using.
They do not deserve a rating, I opened a contract ithe beginning of July, cancelled within the notice period.To this day I am still being debited monthly, cannot get hold of them, the emails they do reply on say they have cancelled the contract but I'm still being debited 5 months later! None of the numbers work and when you eventually get through, you are transferred to a number a drops your call. DO NOT OPEN A CONTRACT WITH MTN, YOU WILL REGRET IT, ENDLESS HASSLE.
Do not use this site. Of anyone loads money onto your profile you will not be able to withdraw it unless you send it back to person that made the deposit. Regardless if this person has a completley diffrent and location, you will need to send the money back. So bother doing work through this company because you will need to send it back anyway.
This company does not deserve a rating. I have been waiting for a paid up letter for over a month now. Not only do you not answer emails but you wait for 30 min just to speak to someone and then be told that they cannot assist. Absolutely ridiculous.!!
I have been with Debt Care since April 2017, October 2019 i settled all my accounts except vehicle finance. The settlement amount for the accounts was the same amount due as when i first joined Debt Care. Not sure where my R 3800 went a month for 2 years. Anyway, i have recently settled my vehicle fiance which was the only account needed to remove the flag from my name. They are no saying that they do not have the closing letter and refuse to remove the flag. Some of the companies never issued closing letter( I.e FNB which i have a current account with) and others companies are saying that debt care has the information. I am completely lost of all hope for how to proceed from here on. How do i regain my financial independence and start building a future for my children and myself?
Did a online purchase on the 2nd April 2016. No update that the order has been successful or when delivery will take place. Tried calling customer service , who then informed me that there was a problem with the problem but everything had been sorted out- this was a week and a half ago. They also said that delivery would be done on the latest Monday 11april 2016. It is now Friday 15 April 2016 and still no indication of where the pachage is and when it will be delivered. Please note that they also charged a delivery.
