So I’ve been with my previous insurers for 4 years. I then get a quote from first for women and they offered the best rates for my two vehicles. Unfortunately our one vehicle got swiped by a taxi driver and now I am treated like a ********. I’ve been with FFW only for 4 months unfortunately this incident occurred early December. First for women has been stalling and I’ve been patient, now they’re trying to get all my previous insurers to send reports on my past ‘behaviour’ and me as the paying client must just wait and wait and wait. Meanwhile without any form of transport they continue to debit my account. What does insurance mean? You pay for something to cover a an asset in the unlikely event that something bad happens. Unfortunately in this case it was four months in. So now I’m the ********!! Never again! Rest assured I will take this further
Outsurance has been nothing but outstanding in terms of service and my building claims. I have been with Standard Bank for over 20years. But Nothing beats the service I received from Outsurance. From start to finish. I have only had endless problems with standard
UNBELIEVABLE!!!DO NOT TAKE OUT MTN INSURANCE ON YOUR DEVICES… THIS IS THE WORST ENTITY I HAVE DEALT WITH .. BEFORE THEY DO ANYTHING YOU MUST PAY FOR EXCESS!!! THIS JS UNHEARD OF.. NO ONE CONTACts you ABOUT WHAT YOU NEED TO DO WITH A BROKEN PHONE OR EVEN EMAILS. .. @santaminsure @worldwideadvisory are responsible for this mess as they are the underwriters and the financial services. I will report you all to the ombud. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSting. THE CALL CENTER WAS MOST LIKELY EMPLOYED FROM HOME AFFAIRS AS THEY DONT GIVE A ****. WHAT HAPPENS NOW??? Beware!! Do not take out MTN device insurance. They will keep lying to you. You keep having to call in to find out what’s happening? No one can give you a straight answer. They want to you to pay for excess before even collecting the device.. there’s no place you can take the broken device to. The managers are always in meetings or on a call. No one calls you back.
If there was a minus -10 rating, this would be standard insurance. i've had two claims rejected and many more, you cannot get through to standard insurance. You hold on for over 40mins to an hour only to get cut off. Standard insurance sends out numerous wrong service providers, as they don't actually know what the problem is. It's like im in the twilight zone. So NO thank you - over and out They also don't care about bad reviews or care about their customers. They will be very happy to phone you about the debit order. LOL
Got my insurance out for a leak in the wall. They came out, told me they only fix outer wall pipes and apparently they don’t chop either. So we managed to get the wall chopped in 20 mins while they were chatting outside. They were counting down the time they were there since insurance covers one hour call out and labour. Then of course I just pay for my own pipes. They charged me over and above 1000% of the part. The pipe, 2x 30cm pipe that costs R21 a meter at builders. And the clamps/connector to close the pipe. I paid R850 which was more than a call out fee and labour from another plumber who’s normal fee is R650. So they got paid from MiWay insurance as well as ripped me off for the same!!!! Never again.!!!! They were also RUDE ON TOP OF IT!!!! @miway

Update: 26 Feb 2025: as per the response from Nikaylah on Google review , I emailed her all the information on the same day. No response or calls! Completely disgusted. You are a disgrace to after sales service. I just want my money back!!!!! Sept 2024 i purchased a russell hobbs iron from Hirschs Sept 2024, it's now 12 feb 2025, iron not working. my husband took the iron in on 18 Feb 2025 and to my surprise they decided to send the iron to Russell Hobbs for evaluation????????? like what... why... any other retailer would have either replaced or refunded me. So im calling HIrsch's Milnerton asking for a manager, the phones just rings and i keep being passed from pillar to post. THIS IS NOT A LARGE APPLIANCE LIKE A FRIDGE TO BE EVALUATED AT THE SERVICE PROVIDER!! SO IM STILL WAITING FOR A MANAGER TO CALL ME, BUT NOTHING. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY AT HIRSCHS MILNERTON AGAIN. I am still waiting …..
This morning on the 14 January 2025. I had an experience of reckless driving from the company at the end of our Residential area, which is Epping Street, The company is Alpine Autohaus, corner of Koeberg Road and Epping Street, Rugby. the person in the "test drive" vehicle who appears to be working for the company. I was pulling out of my driveway in Epping Str, and noticed this white bakkie with Alpine registration name on it, coming at such a fast speed, i decided to wait, he swerved and was speeding down the road, while there were people walking and cars parked in the road. if i had to estimate his speed was about 60/70km/h. i drove and stopped there this morning, as he had just pulled into their work area, and confronted the person, he was rude to me and told me i needed proof and called me names, like ‘Karin’ and that ‘he hates people like me’ who complain and are miserable’ then admitted that i was mad because he didn't stop when i tried to pull out. He then said it wasn't him. But i went behind and saw that he had stopped there. I now see from the website it was ‘Sean’. What a bad reputation you guys are. This is a residential road correct Sean?
