I am struggling to get mu funeral vlaim approved. All required documents were handed in. It is now iver a week, still no joy. Eveey enquiry i make new documents are requested. They always promise to call back but never do. What is the use of taking out funeral cover, when i get the runaround. I am beginning Prosper Funeral solutions. I really need that funds. You are worse... Bad dodgy business...

I claimed a funeral benefit of R20000 only to be paid R16000. My premiums incease from September 2021 and in November 2021. Only to be told clientel the new underwriter sent communication in January seeking mandate from me . Now that im claiming they tell a lot of stories. Was assisted by Ntsoaki M and Madelene Maraz. Very unprofessional. Can someone help me with Ambuds contact numbers please.

My sister was a member at Prosper Funeral Solutions, she passed away the 21st August 2021. i submitted the funeral claim first week of September i have not received any feedback to date. She was a single mother of 3 young kids

Worst company to deal with, they don't answer calls or emails. Took a week to process claims and when they finally pay they have short paid us. I will never ever deal with them again. Should have read hello peter reviews before letting my grandmother sign up with them and stopped her.

Last year on the 23 January 2012 I took out a funeral cover for me and family with Prosper funeral solutions was help by Mzwandile Ntunja agent code BRMID 004 and on the 28 December lost my cousin brother who was and on the 3rd of January 2022 I submitted all documents required for my claim and I received confirmation that my claim has been processed successfully on the 4th January 2022 from an agent by the name of Samantha Munnik even got a reference number so I waiting for my 48hours for the claim to be paid. On Thursday 6 of January 2022 I called again to check on what's the hold up and ms Munnik told me that she has no idea on what's the delay that she will call head office then get back to me which she failed to then I called and she never picked up my call so I called customer service and I was told to be patient that the claim might take up to 2 months and mind you according to the t & c's of our contract the turn around time is 48 hours. I was supposed to bury my cousin last weekend I had to put everything on hold for that 2 month.

They are incompetence, their calls are either not answered or it rings continuously with no answer. The reception is clueless as well as client service personnel. I've been trying to get ahold of them since the 23rd of December with no luck. When I finally make contact with them on the 6th of January they cant answer my concern they keep on giving One life numbers of which I did call and they told me they are only underwriters of the policy Prosper still handles all debit orders. This is my story, I have a policy with Prosper funeral solutions which I initially paid R150 then they increased it (R195) to due to covid-19 as they say which was not communicated with us the clients. Fine I didn't mind . They then deducted for December an amount of R670. I'm still being sent back and forth between prosper funeral solutions and one life which is the underwriters. I don't know what to do anymore. It been three years I'm paying for both my policy.

I have a policy with Prosper Funeral Solutions for the past 5 years. My policy is up to date, however I made a claim on the 28th July for my brother's funeral, till to date, I haven't received the payout. I had to make a loan to cover my brother's funeral expenses. I've sent them numerous emails and dont even bother responding. I wouldn't recommended them, especially in your time of need.
