Choose a service provider very carefully or you might end up with empty pockets and loaded promices. Realty is our body corp agency and I started the complaints laste year October due to poor service delivery. After numerous attempts I stopped paying the full amount on my Levy due to my tenants have little to no water. The Only thing Lizette Turpin does is passing the buck and after she handed my account over to a court this shows me again how a agency will use their power to punish you more than once. So be aware that you do not fall in any trap of smart words, Up to date in 12 Months they have decided to flush the meter that is part of the body corp. Also for the past 9 months still counting I have sent a Watsupp to Lizette with my new email to receive statements but again I am at the loosing end. As it is thruth always comes out but 4 owners have sold this investment due to an arrogant no service delivery from Realty Middelburg Mpumalanga. Let me wonder how people misuse their power to make money and have no pure intentions to look at another persons basic needs.

People please be very weary of using this rental agency. If you have to use them make sure you have a very well documented move in inspection report. We rented an apartment from Lana and Nicole in Menlopark and lost about half of our deposit when moving out. The cleaners used apparently could not clean marks off the walls so walls have to be repainted at inflated costs. There was some damage caused by our children but repairs should not have come close to the amount we were charged. Very quick to threaten us and plead innocence. Don’t go on trust!!!

Having rented an apartment in Menlopark in Pretoria from Realty 1 who took over the rental management hall way through our rental contract I would like to share our experience on moving out. The cleaners could not get some marks off walls so we were charged for the re-painting of the entire wall section. The rental agent denied that the tenant verbally reported the bathroom extraction fan to her, so got charged for repainting the bathroom too because of mould stain. apparently no written complaint was lodged of the fan. The owner agreed to pay a very small portion of the cost to treat the rust in the bathroom. Please be weary of using these agents and if you have to make sure you have a very detailed and well documented move in inspection.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Realty1. The tenants mismanaged my property and failed to communicate effectively throughout the process. Despite clear agreements, they did not fix damages as promised, leaving essential repairs undone. The new tenants could not load electricity tokens because of the previous tenants unsettled meter bill, whereas Realty1 said it was settled. To make matters worse, they suggested I contact the previous tenants to address issues that were completely unacceptable to a professional agency that was entrusted with managing my property. Their lack of accountability and disregard for client concerns is deeply disappointing. As a property owner, I expected them to act as a reliable partner, but instead, their actions caused unnecessary frustration. I cannot recommend Realty1 to anyone seeking professional property management services.

I gave a notice 30 before as my contract started so I can get my deposit on time. While I moved out some of the things some were left. I sent a whatsapp asking the what is the last day and tge said the 31st. Which I we did move out after work. When they got there for inspection no every was moved but most from the previous day. She said you she have move by now, my reply was I just got back ylfrom work and I called you when doing that. Since my cousin broke part of the wall I ended up agreeing to the amount to be debited as my cousin and come to an agreement. They said they will charge me to have someone clean, that was even before we finished moving. We were done moving everything out before 8pm. I went and got an oven cleaner from a from a friend to clean it we stayed behind cleaning the oven full bottle new and they say it not to the standard the want it must look new meaning I wasn't in that 1 year plus it's super clean I asked someone that cleans to clean it, she even did the walls. Mind you when I moved in there were alot of broken things like cracked doors, I had to fix the bedroom door since things were fall out, winds don't open, parts falling off the winds so many money. I stayed because it was my first job and closest place to work.now I am being charged and additional R800 I don't know about and other fees .I did send and email when I moved in saying soo may things a wrong and you will blame at the end. Now they are telling me wait 2 weeks for my deposit, now how I'm I going to pay for my new place when when I didn't get my deposit back and tgey are telling me it's not our problem we don't care.they even gave me a broken that I had to replace in a week as it fell in front of the security.

I am being transferred from Durban to Pretoria. As a result I had to look for accommodation and rely on pics sent by the lessor. Property will only be available on 1 Fen 2024. I paid the deposit (R4950) , admin fee (R2000) and rent for Fen (R4950). Due to my asthma am forced to relocate. I informed the lady via whats app that am in pta and due to my health problems won't be staying. I emailed them too. I was then informed that due loss of income from the lessor side I must still pay that rent as advised by their lawyer. I haven't moved in. They still have the keys. The tenant(current one) is still there. The lease doesn't mention anything about cancelation before occupancy. How do I forfeit my money when they have not yet even given me the keys? I am still waiting for feedback from my legal advisor. They didn't want to provide their legal advisors number as previously stated that they were advised by their legal that I forfeit.

What a dreadful experience. They do no abide by the Rental Laws and are absolute *******. The service we received from Jana and Nicole was shocking. They are rude, threatening and not willing to meet you halfway. They should not be in this business. I would definitely not recommend them after they have taken more than three quarters of our deposit. There was no follow up from them but they are quick to threaten you.

Rienie from Pretoria East branch is the agent that advertised the property at The Blyde. After paying deposit of R8000 and signing a lease. 5 days before I am supposed to move in, Rienie tells me that I will no longer be moving in because the landlord has decided to extend the lease with the current tenant for a year. WOW. This is another level on false advertising Rienie then says the company will refund me and 3 days later I still havent recieved my deposit back. When I ask for proof of payment, they will not send it it me claiming that they are still requesting it from the bank. Their finance girl Sandi was extremely rude on the phone and claims that because they bank with FNB and I bank with standard bank it takes a minimum of 3 days. ***. Do not give yourself a headache dealing with this agency. They are a bunch of ******! What an absolute nightmare
