Good day, Yesterday I ordered a couch online priced at R12999 today when I went in-store to pay for the couch I was told that it is actually R29999. I find this unacceptable because when you make a purchase online the prices should be correct. Other businesses would try to meet a customer halfway to sort out the issue as the error is on the business's side. They mislead customers and that is not fair. I drove to their shop for nothing really disappointing. They could have offered me the couch as per their website. So my just under 2 year old bar stool started making a "snap-like" sound this year. I took the stool in to the Red Apple in City Deep.... Since I purchased the stool from there and I didn't want to take it anyway and have it RUINED! Was hoping they would be able to assess and fix where necessary, I even made it clear to the lady that I would pay if I have to for a repair rather than waiting until the stool breaks! The sound came randomly (not while I was at the shop not warehouse with the stool), fear of the R3400 stool breaking led me to take it to "the right people"(or so I thought.... That they sold me the stool they would know what to do and have the best interest of the chair at heart). The lady in the warehouse said they could mend it, as the back rest was slightly loose. She said it was out of warranty but they would just mend it a bit (where the backrest attaches to the rest of the stool). Within about 2 hours of leaving the stool I received a call to come collect the stool the following day. I arrived and found that my stool was stable... But also had knicks and scratches all over on the seat, the soldering in the back highly untidy and a big scratch down the back of the stool... To which, one man said the guy soldering it "made a mistake" My heart was sore.... Made even worse by the lady who said "well you know that when things get fixed they don't look the same. (before I asked for it to actually get polished since it had even seemed more dull)" we polished it..... It won't look the same ahain" "you know we did this for you and we didn't even charge" Now my set of bar stools is ruined with this scratched up bar stool! 1.why were they not neat and not protective of all other surfaces that were not being worked on 2. If they were unsure of mending it neatly why did they just not tell me they can't do anything 3. How must I trust the people I got the stool from ever again.... If such happens!!!!!!

I purchased a 3 seater couch on 02 march this year at red apple city deep johannesburg. Hardly 2 months later it started sinking and became uncomfortable.

This was quite frustration as the couch was pricey. on 31 May, I contacted red apple, they came to view the couch and told me that I can either exchange or return for a refund, they also mentioned that I might have to pay to get the couch cleaned up, which made sense. I was told then told that I need to go to their store to check if there is anything that I can exchange with, I went t the store and did not find anything that is intersting for me. The manager (Afzal) was not there on the day, so I sent him an email to update him, and that I would like to have a refund instead. he did not respond to my email, and several others that I had sent thereafter.

on the 17 July, I then received a call from one of the store reps. She told me that her manager said he cant take the couch back and cant refund me because he has got a similr couch, and he does not have a problem with it.

Kindly intervene.

Regards

Been standing at the payment counter for minutes on end calling/yelling out for assistance/service , when a lady called Joyce finally came, she was on the phone and pretends as if she doesn't see us and continues talking on the phone with a friend (didn't sound like it was business). Thats just unacceptable, we didn't push her to this job every day so she mustn't act as if she's doing us a favor.

I bought a coffee table and TV Stand unit from Red Apple Furniture with clear factory problems that had measurements so poor, I could only assume it was done by a 1 year old. I then proceeded to speak to their customer care agent quite politely explaining my issues with both products. I was told that and I quote "confirm that you received in the box packaging instructions on how to proceed with assembling starting with one box at a time example Box A then Box B . It is as simple as assembling a toy like building a Lego . The Red Apple Plant is a high technology automated production line using precision engineering. You are not the first customer to purchase these units and many hundreds of customers locally have 100% perfect units." What a ****** insult. I mean are your customers complete *****s that you tell them how easy it is to assemble you products, like lego and how amazing your plants are and how retarded it is for your customers to think that factory problems exist. I will never buy a single item from them ever again, it explains their ****ty presence on social media because all their products look beautiful but are complete and utter duds.
