The Supervisor, by the name of NIKITA PATIENCE was very rude, more like she was doing me a favor by talking to me. Had 2 insurance covers through them as they are an insurance broker. Debit order did not go through and I contacted them on the 13th to debit on the 15th, Apparently they could not debit on the 15th so they made arrangements for the 19th but they did not notify me of the changes. I called again on the 21st, they still did not mention anything regarding the 19th. I was told they would arrange to debit on the 24th, but that did not happen, contacted them and I was told on the 25th. Unfortunately I was in an accident on the 25th and when I registered a claim, I was told I was not covered due to "NON-PAYMENT". When I contacted Rooks on the 26th, that was when I was notified on the debit that was supposed to go through on the 19th. The claim my phone went to voice mail when they called. THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, SMS/EMAIL WHEN I CALLED ON THE 21st, THEY DID NOT MENTION ANYTHING REGARDING THE 19TH, I WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ARRAGEMENT OF THE 19th, ON THE 26th.

On Thursday last week I was contacted regarding a job interview. The person I spoke to did not introduce herself but said she would confirm all the information in writing. I received no correspondence and when I contacted the company this morning to check the address, the switchboard person could not give me the information and said she would phone me back. This was 9.15 and my appointment was 10.00. I am still waiting for the return call!! There are two addresses on Google and I took a chance with the closest one. On arrival, the receptionist went to tell someone I was there, came back a while later to tell me the position was for a junior - i am not a junior! I asked why I had not been contacted and apparently they had sent an SMS which did not go through. Why then did they not phone me????? The person concerned did not have the decency to come and tell me herself and apologize - the receptionist had to do the dirty work and no apology. Had they read my CV they would have known all the details and not phoned me in the first place! The level of unprofessionalism is beyond belief!

On the 15th of January 2022 I got involved in a car accident on my way back from Limpopo to Pretoria. On the 17th of January 2022 Antonique Gouws from Rooks Insurance Brokers sent me claim form which I filled and sent back on the 21st of January 2022. Then on the 24th of January 2022, I received an email from Brenda Odendaal who works for Broker Buddies stating that first validation checks on my claims have been completed and I should send a detailed trip report for the day of the incident and a copy of the license disk. They got the accident report from the police officer. Brenda Odendaal also advised that an assessor has been appointed and advises will follow soon. I then received a call from Laborious panel beaters and they told me that my car is with them, it's stripped and they sent the insurance the quote (awaiting for a go-ahead). I've tried calling Rooks Insurance company and Broker buddies (spoke with different consultants). They all promise that they will get back to me and they don't. Even tried escalating this matter to Outsurance. I spoke to Keitumetsi (from Outsurance) and she also promised to get back to me and I'm still waiting. This has been dragging for more than a month and it's frustrating. Now when I call my calls are no longer answered. What is frustrating is the fact that there is no progress with this case and no one cares to inform me what is really going on or what's left to be done so that my car can be fixed or at least get back to me. I just want a way forward. My details are: Policy No. : INS0036689 Claim No. : 59-17597-16690

I took a car insurance with them via a friend that I really trusted Thabo Naare and I think a week later after taking the insurance I got scammed by my bank of which I was unable to pay for the Rooks services and I told my friend to cancel my insurance with them but he insisted on speaking to his manager Smith first so they can see what to do. Out of desperation I agreed obviously then they told me that I had to pay an admin fee of R950 if I'm not mistaken plus the insurance (Axsure insurance) I had took via them which was R1173 so at that time I could not afford to pay that much fuel to being scammed as I had to recover on a lot of things. So I then decided they should cancel everything as they were my brokers I thought they cancelled and to my surprise Axsure then debited an amount from my account without my consent which really affected my other debits from running. Then I called Axsure and they said I should send an email of cancellation so they can refund me, I even threatened to report them, been sending them emails with no response but soon as I mentioned hellopeter then they called and started interrogating me then they said they will look into it. A week later a girl from Rooks called and I explained everything to her and she then said she has to speak to her manager Smith and being polite I said okay. This week on Monday i then decided to send the both companies emails telling them that i am fed up with their silence with no correspondence then when i got to work i then got a call from Smith the manager from Rooks telling me a lot of stories I then hung up the call and told him that I will then have to report the matter on a large platform as they are not taking me seriously. R1200 is a lot of money to just let it go. I am really unhappy with both Rooks insurance and Axsure as they really robbed me and I work very hard for that money. Please help

I bought a car last year December, and the sales assistant told me i need insurance so i told him lets try call king price or momentum, next thing i know im on a call with a lady called Nontobeko who said shes from rookes brokers and they search for quotes from insurances, i asked how much they charge she said its free of charge she got me a quote of +- R900 from king price and tracker would be R200 so i was like great stuff next thing i know i get a debit order of R1190 going off from an unusual name then king price debits R250 pro rata fee, i then call king price and asked how can they debit twice they said it wasnt them i told them about Rookes they said contact them i then called looking for Nontobeko who was unavailable i asked what the R1190 was about no1 could answer me i then called tracker in which they said no1 had contacted them so i started my own process of getting a tracking device fitted into my car and reversed the fraudulent amount i had no idea of, next thing i get calls about an administration fee in which i have no idea about because the service was offered free to me if i had known about such an amount i wouldve never even taken them up or used them it is not difficult to get on the phone and get quotes from insurance companies, im now getting calls and threats of being listed on ITC and ill gladly respond appropriately if the matter gets to that point, i even requested the voice recordings to show that what i was saying is true, its either the company needs to focus on training their staff members or completely shut down because this is not the way to be running a business.
