If there was a way to put them in the negatives I would. They do not refund money, which we proved is ********* by going to the ombudsman. She first said she would refund the money if she was able to find a replacement for the date. Which she did but never mentioned it, we had to try make a separate booking to find out that she already had another booking on that day. That was Oct of 2025. After going to the ombudsman she said she would pay up. We are in January and still nothing. She’s a *****

The Fortress Venue Best Service for the PhD graduation party
We celebrated Dr. Takalani Mashamba’s PhD graduation party on Saturday… what a party!!! 🎉 The venue exceeded all expectations. The food was exceptional, the décor beautifully arranged, and the service from both waiters and waitresses was professional and attentive. The security staff were highly efficient, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment throughout. The host was hands-on, with great attention to detail, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. Sesi Mabutla – please keep up the excellent work! You truly are the best. From the planning stage right through to the very last hour, you made everything so easy to work with. We are deeply grateful – thank you! 💐

Bad service
I'm disappointed with their service, a friend had a wedding on Sunday 29 September 2024, when we arrived 08:15 to setup the sound system, the hall was dirty and they only started cleaning at 9am so we had to wait, I requested that they cater for the sound and band crew when they start serving the finger meal/starter, but they were very rude and refused especially the catering manager lady

Bad service

Holding our money hostage.
Worst experience ever! Visiting the venue everything was great, they sold us a complete LIE! pushing us to pay a deposit and then only sending a quote with a completely different price to what we had discussed. We explained to them that it's *********, we discussed one price and after paying our deposit it almost doubled !!! Fighting to get out deposit back, due to the false pretense they sold us on. I would not recommend this venue at all!

Worst service!!
I wanted to let you know that I was not happy with the service we received yesterday. -we were never served dessert and yet I paid for it as part of the package -your staff /waiters gave us dusty plates for the food. -my dad got burnt from the food warmer oil he opened the food warmer to Dish up and the oil spilt all over his clothes. -the waiters sat around while there was dirty plates and my guest ended up having to put the plates in one corner for them. -your staff was dishing up food while we were still eating -there was no cutlery -when we asked for take away boxes for the birthday cake we were told that they don't give them and then I asked for foil at least and they refused at first and then eventually we were given foil. -the staff sat around and drank coffee and instead of checking up if we needed anything. - my husband asked for a printout of the bill because he saw the staff having drinks and couldn't understand why the drinks bill was so high and the lady told us that she can't print it and then we asked her to email it to us because it doesn't make any sense at all. I'm really disappointed in your staff and the lack of professionalism.
