I am extremely disappointed with the Transport Sector Retirement Fund (TSRF). My family has been facing numerous challenges with them, and their lack of communication is highly frustrating. We submitted a death claim for my late father, Mr. Ngoma, in July and have yet to receive a response. Despite sending all required documents multiple times, including to their emails (members@tsrf.salteb.co.za and Octavia@futurasa.co.za), there has been no acknowledgment or clarification on whether any documents are missing. We are left in the dark, without any guidance or updates. My father had also submitted a withdrawal claim in January 2023 and, shockingly, he never received a response before he passed away in April 2024, despite providing all necessary documents. This lack of response and transparency from TSRF is unacceptable, especially considering the sensitive nature of these claims. The fund's inefficient service has caused additional emotional distress to our family during an already difficult time. We expect better communication and accountability from a fund that is meant to support its members in such critical situations.

I Left employment on the 23 of November 2023 my Last contribution was on the 20th December 2023 .I signed exit form together with bank statement and satisfied Identity my employer sent documents to Sanlam as per underwrite after a week I made enquire Just to check only to find out my withdrawal claim Not processed because my form was incomplete the last contribution date was not stipulated on the form. I requested employer to sort this out yes it was done immediately. Yesterday again I made another follow up with Salt trf first online consultant told me forms received claim in process, second consultant told me they're haven't received my claim form I started being angry confused how come people of the same company telling me 2 different things it obviously if I don't force myself with this follow up this people Wil Just keep quite Even though there's missing information or pending documents. Right now I am confused, Lost because I don't know who to believe because I also had the copy of the form that's was sent for the 2nd time But your consultant send me email today that they're are still waiting for the amended form from who? How Long this pillar to post going to last if I don't ask no one bothers to update me are the consultant not trained to contact the employer or employee however there's something missing. the whole 2 week's it waste if until to date my forms are Not received by relevant people.

Hello Peter please assist this company doesn't want to pay my retirement funds,My claim was submitted on the 31 March 2023, they said claims take 8-12 week to pay out. Fine I waited 3 month, then I called. They said claim still in process & should be paid after 21 working days… after 21 working days I called again, now they are telling me I should follow up again after 14 working days.
