Staff at TTS Electronics Port Elizabeth are nothing but a bunch of liars with absolutely no sense of customer service whatsoever!!! I have been struggling to get my phone repaired for weeks now and everyday I am given a different story and told to come back tomorrow. First it was the part not arriving from Samsung for 2weeks, then the technician was always on callouts, then my phone was supposedly in the oven for days and now the latest story is that my phone is in the technicians car and they have been driving around with it for 2days now. I will never make the mistake of using them for anything ever again. I wonder how much longer it is going to take for them to just give my phone back.

Is there even an option for 0 stars, because that's what TTS would get from me if this were possible! My phone's screen stopped working a few weeks ago so I sent it to TTS for a quote and to be repaired. I paid the R3100 to get it fixed. A few weeks of patiently waiting and calling for updates, I eventually got told it's not actually the screen but the main board. So I give permission for this to be repaired instead of the screen. Another few weeks pass and after throwing my toys out the cot I get promised the phone will be delivered the following morning. By lunch time the phone still hasn't arrived so I call to where it is to be told I still owe R400... So I happily pay the R400 hoping for a delivery that afternoon... But to no avail! I call at 16:00 to find out that now my phone isn't charging and is back with the technician. Keep in mind my phone was charging perfectly well when it went to TTS. I re-threw my toys and was promised to be called by 11:00 the following morning. And as per their usual ridiculously low work standard, I received no call back. I called again now only to find out "there is no manager on duty, I'll get someone to call you back"... I'm not holding my breath! 8 weeks and R3600 later and I'm STILL waiting for my phone to be fixed. I email and phone on a regular basis to get updates; my emails aren't replied to and I keep getting "the manager is out we'll get her to phone you back" which needless to say never happens! This is without a doubt the worst service I have EVER received! If Samsung remains affiliated to TTS I would need to seriously reconsider purchasing Samsung products in future!

After being told by TTS that my quotation to fix my laptop would take 2 working days, 12 days later we were still waiting. We then went into to see them to enquire as to why it was taking so long then were told we would get a response that afternoon as the lady who dealt with the quotations was out of the office on lunch. The next morning after not hearing anything back from them I phoned to inform them that I was going to pick up the computer as it was taking far too long, I was told that that was fine and could collect the laptop but the reason why we had not received our quote the afternoon before was in fact because the quote lady had not been in the office at all that day, don't know the reason why they lied to us about her being out at lunch. When we went to collect the laptop there was no apology or excuse. 12 days and no further forward than what we were originally. My advice, stay well clear of TTS, I don't know how companies like Samsung can associate themselves with a company like this. This also isn't the first time we've had an issue with waiting times and excuses.

I have ordered a data cable for my Samsung tablet in December 2016, paid as well. I was told I will receive the cable within 2 weeks. Everytime I enquire, I'm given excuses. I have asked to be refunded, the lady working with the refunds, is apparently so busy that she can't return my call or respond to an email! Pathetic service and I will not recommend TTS to anyone! Rather go to the Samsung shop with Teletek in Greenacres- good service!

I ordered a Samsung product from them in November 2016. I was told it would take a week to arrive, after paying in advance. It now seems to be the standard reply from them.

Needless to say it never arrived. 2 weeks later I was told that Samsung was doing stock taking. Christmas time came and gone. I made weekly inquiries. In January I was told everything was on back order. Towards the middle of January I demanded a refund. I was told they don't do refunds.

I paid them a visit that afternoon and had to fill in an EFT deposit form. After numerous phone calls and promises I eventually got the refund.

TTS has now cured me from ever buying one of my favourite brands, Samsung. Hopefully I never have to deal with them again.

Beware!

I am writing this complaint about a poor customer service I received at the above company. Firstly, over a month ago i took my phone in for repairs. I was asked to leave any amount as an assessment fee...i had R100 on me so i left it. Then they told me that they would send me an sms with the quotation of how much it would cost to repair the phone. The following day they did as promised, the cost of the damages would be R1700,10 inclusive of the already paid R100. The following week i went to pay a deposit in order for them to resume with the repairs, i paid R800 and the rest of the balance i would pay when they are done with the repairs. I asked how long should i wait, the lady that was assisting me said it would take a week or so...I waited a week passed, i heard nothing from them. The second week came, third as well and then i decided to give me them a call to ask if they are done with the repairs, they told maybe towards the end of the week. Alright it passed, i called them again mid-week of the next week but it was still not done. I waited until it was Friday of the fourth week and went to them decided that i will take my phone back if they are not done with it coz i was leaving to Cpt the following week therefore i needed my phone back it had been long with them. Got there they tried to convince me to wait until 2pm that day they will would make a plan to get the screen from wherever they would be ordering from. I waited, mind you im from Uitenhage and i used bus fair to get to P.e but nonetheless i waited hoping they will have a plan in place coz i really had faith in them as i believed they have knowledge of the phone more than anywhere else, as they are specialise in repairing Samsung items. Came afternoon they told they still did not have a plan in fixing my phone, i took it back and wanted my R900 refund, they made fill out a refund form with my bank account details on it and told to expect it within 48hrs. The following week Tuesday i called to ask about my refund they told me it was loaded and to expect it soon. I called after 2 days again, it was still not reflecting on my side. They told the following day (Friday 2 weeks back). My mom called them as well they told her the same story, she asked for a proof of payment they promised to send it but never did. I last spoke to them on the 14th until today i haven’t received my refund.

Its been over 3 weeks now, please help me Hellopeter to get my money back as i desperately need it. I did not spend my Christmas well and do have hope that i will get it back anytime soon.

Had a Samsung Galaxy S6 screen replaced by TTS in Port Elizabeth. We were referred to them by MTN as they were contracted to Samsung to do in warranty repairs. It was a free screen replacement-part of contract. The phone was purchased on 29 Feb 2016 and is still under warranty. They wanted us to pay R100 saying the sim card slot was damaged. We refused because they took the sim card out and replaced it, so we insisted that if it was broken, it must have been their error.

Approximately two months later ( 28 June 2016), the ink started running in the screen (service order number ********** 621). He had not dropped or mishandled the phone at all. TTS insisted that he had had a free replacement and therefore had to pay for a new screen (R1700-obviously not a cheap exercise). He was told it was lifting and damaged (cracked)at the back of the screen. We were convinced the error was made when they replaced the screen in the first place, but we had no choice but to pay for the new screen or we would get the phone back unrepaired. TTS refused to accept that the error was on their side and said we cannot prove it.

Again approximately two months later, the screen starting lifting again and we returned to TTS. They said they are no longer contracted to Samsung and that we must take the phone to TT3 to resolve the issue. TT3 has had a look at it and told us that it is a Samsung /TTS fault. They said that when the screen was replaced, the old glue was not removed and that this is what was causing the problem. They are in the process of resolving the issue for us. Samsung have approached TTS about reimbursing us for (obviously) incorrecty charging us R1700 (it is now clear it was their fault that the first screen cracked and the dye ran), but they have refused saying we cannot prove it. Once again the screen they replaced (which we paid for) has the dye running and is lifting. Once again, the phone has not been dropped or mishandled (TT3 agree it was incorrectly replaced). This means it was more than likely also incorrectly replaced the first time.

This means that we paid R1700 when it was, in fact TTS who was at fault.

When the initial free screen was replaced, it was either replaced with a faulty screen or incorrectly replaced and hence the damage that needed the second replacement (which I then should NOT have been charged for).

I will advise everyone and will never use the services of TTS again. TT3 are brilliant! I can understand why Samsung are no longer contracted to TTS. TT3 is a much better choice -treat customers with respect and try to assist....very much the opposite of TTS.
