I received a phone call on 15 July to advise me of a claim for a hospital visit for May 2019 for R 8 530 I asked the lady why I am only hearing about this claim 2 years after the fact she couldn't give me an answer I told her I would come back to her. On 30 September I phoned back and spoke to someone else and I advised him that we would pay them the full amount by 15 December and he took note of that. On 20 October I received a e-mail that stated if I don't pay half of the amount they will hand me over the more I kept telling him I don't have money to pay but he wouldn't stop asking me to pay half.

We had a family policy cover (Policy Number: 8005910307) with Union Life since January 2018. On June 2021 the policy lapsed and we were informed that we are no longer covered. On the 5th of August 2021 an amount of R473.00 was deduction from my wife account by Union Life. We tried to contact the company telephonically but the phone keeps on ringing. Since we don't have any membership with the company, we therefore want the money to be paid back and the company should cease deducting money from the bank account.

I took a funeral cover for my maternal grandmother years ago. She passed on 23 April 2021 and I submitted a claim for the funeral cover after she was buried. I used the money I had as we wanted to have a funeral sooner. Grandmother passed away in KwaZulu Natal and I submitted all the required documents to Union Life now known as 3sixty life. Needless to say they did not acknowledge my claim or respond to me each time I sent a follow up. I ended up writing to info@3sixtylife.co.za and claims but no response. My account has been debited in May, June and July even though the person covered has passed away.

My premium date has been charged from the 20th of every month to the 17th or 18th by who no one knows, its been three month having unpaid debt orders , every time they say its fixed but nothing is done, who charged the date from the start and why don't they fix it, I have asked for policy documents its a year still waiting, just makes you wonder when I need to claim will they help me , I am upset my bank account has unpaid debt order charges , i want it fixed and pay my charges.

Dear reader , My mother took out a policy with them 20 years ago , paid over R10,000 in premiums ,the death value is R3000.00 She died at age 97 and i am her son wanting to claim . They have noted her as the beneficiary of her own policy !! can you imagine that she must claim after her death . They refuse to pay the benefit to the executor as they need a LOA . no one wants to issue this as the policy now vests in the estate . All delaying tactics , the poor lady[body] is lying in the freezer at AVBOB , they refuse to cremate before they are paid , what a lot of nonsense , the bereaved family are thrown to the wolves . The LOA can only be issued after 15 days after lodging the death with the Master. They faield to appoint a proper benificiary and now is blaming the dead person for not doing this. I had multiple problems with this people. Firstly you Will never find them on the phone Premiums going up without any communication Business name change without informing client's Very bad service. I've changed my banking details I had to go via ombuts to assist as they we're nowere to be found I changed my debit dates with them but still haven't changed them. This people are not customer focused. I wonder if they Will even pay my claims on Time if I have a problem.
