Based on recent customer reviews, XDS receives overwhelmingly negative feedback centered on inaccurate credit reporting and poor dispute resolution. Customers repeatedly report that paid-up or prescribed debts remain listed on their profiles despite submitting supporting documentation. The dispute process is described as unresponsive, with complaints of ignored emails, dropped calls, and prolonged waiting periods without resolution. Several reviewers mention that other bureaus like TransUnion and Experian have corrected records while XDS has not. Concerns about unauthorized use of personal information and wrongful debt review flags further erode consumer trust.

This credit bureau is a disgrace, I loadged a dispute with them 2 months ago and no feedback has been given to me. Every time I phone them I am told that the they have ruled in my favour but no confirmation has been sent to me. All their consultants keep telling me one think, Kefilwe will send it just now for the for the past week now, all these consultants claim to have spoken to her but her highness Kefilwe will not send the confirmation and actually update my credit record.

I am lodging a complaint against XDS (Xpert Decision Systems) regarding the mishandling of a formal credit dispute. I completed the dispute form provided by XDS and submitted it together with supporting documentation. XDS later advised that, based on feedback from the service provider, the dispute was not resolved in my favour. No supporting documentation or detailed reasoning was provided for this outcome. I subsequently advised XDS that the dispute was not properly submitted by them. Specifically, the email the XDS rep sent to the lender did not include the details contained in the dispute document they required me to complete, resulting in the lender not receiving the full substance of my dispute. Despite this being raised , XDS did not correct or re-submit the dispute with the full details No explanation was provided for the omission of the dispute information. My follow-up emails requesting clarification have been ignored The XDS rep further indicated that they are still awaiting feedback from the service provider’s legal department. Despite the absence of legal confirmation and the unresolved procedural issue, the adverse listing remains active on my credit profile. If XDS cannot demonstrate that my dispute was accurately and fully conveyed to the lender, and cannot substantiate the listing with proper legal confirmation, the listing should be removed or suspended pending investigation. Instead, XDS advised me to escalate the matter to the Ombudsman while maintaining an unresolved and improperly handled listing

To: Credit Bureau Compliance / Dispute Resolution Bureau: Experian / TransUnion / XDS / VCCB Date: 25 September 2025 I, Jan Hendrik Steph**** Venter (ID 760709 5034 083), domiciled in Pretoria, South Africa, contact 072 474 8546, hereby lodge a formal dispute and final demand for the immediate removal/correction of all negative entries on my credit profile that relate to prescribed debt and/or incorrect information. Why your data is ******** Prescription (3 years): All listed debts are older than three years with no acknowledgment of liability by me and no legal summons/service on me during that time. Such debts are extinct by prescription in terms of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, which sets three years for “any other debt” (s 11(d)) and runs from when the debt is due (s 12). NCA prohibits listing/collecting prescribed debt: The National Credit Act 34 of 2005 (NCA) prohibits reporting or collecting prescribed debt. You must maintain accurate records and remove data you cannot prove with credible evidence within the prescribed timeframes (see s 72 and the Regulations). 20 business days to resolve disputes: Credit bureaus must investigate and resolve a consumer dispute within 20 business days, provide a dispute reference, mask the information during investigation, and remove/correct it if there’s no credible evidence from the data furnisher. POPIA – inaccurate personal information: Keeping and publishing inaccurate or outdated personal information violates POPIA s 24. I hereby request correction/deletion of such information. My demands (non-negotiable) Immediately mask the disputed entries pending outcome. Provide me with the dispute reference number today. Within 20 business days, either: Provide credible documentary evidence proving that each listed debt is not prescribed (e.g., date-stamped summons/acknowledgment interrupting prescription), or Delete/correct the entries and confirm in writing, and notify all other bureaus and recipients of the erroneous data as the Regulations require. If you refuse or fail to comply, treat this as a PAJA s 5 request for written reasons for your administrative action within 90 days and expect escalation without further notice. Escalation if you don’t fix this Failing compliance, I will file formal complaints with: National Credit Regulator (NCR) – complaints@ncr.org.za; Tel 0860 627 627; for NCA contraventions. Credit Ombud (NFOSA) – ombud@creditombud.org.za; Tel 0861 662 837; for unresolved bureau disputes. Information Regulator – POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za for POPIA s 24 contraventions. Further, I reserve my right under NCA s 72(1)(d) to seek compensation for the cost of correction and any damages caused by your ******** reporting. Identification & authority Attached: Copy of my RSA ID (front). You are authorised to contact the data furnishers solely for purposes of this dispute. Signed: J.H.S. In terms of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, this debt has prescribed and is no longer enforceable. Other registered credit bureaus, including TransUnion and VCCB, have already updated my profile accordingly. However, your records still reflect this debt inaccurately, which negatively affects my credit standing. These accounts are Telkom, letsatsi finance and Mpowa finance

This credit bureau is a delayed company. Two of my paid up documents were sent to them and they only updated one of them. And that too it was updated incorrectly. Its updated as account is closed but still showing the account has an owing balance yet I settled the creditor. You guys are delayed and showing incorrect details on my bureau. Please fix this!

XDS refuses to update my 2 homeloan accounts to zero balances after I have sent them my rehabilitation court order and my Statement of Debtor's showing that the accounts formed part of the sequestration. By refusing to do so, they are transgressing the law. I am not sure if they don't understand the law and they must know that ignorance is not excuse to break the law.

Im giving XDS 2 stars mainly because, they do respond to queries when posted on hello peter but that shouldn't be the case in the first place. I logged a dispute to update my MR Price account which was never in arrears at all and even sent through the letter from MR Price stating my account is current and up to date and also provided statements. The month of August now shows in arrears for this account on my credit report which is incorrect, and i followed up with MR Price as well and they also confirmed account is up to date, i need Transunion to rectify this immediately as this has impacted my good credit rating due to inaccurate information reporting. I sent through 3 emails already with the letter from MR Price and my statements. I Tired logging a dispute on Splendi no feedback
