I made an online order paid for it on the 29th. Still nothing, I got an invoice and said my order is being processed. Today they tell me they can't see nothing. I'm running a business as well, I ordered nail glue from them 50 bottles. It's December now and I needed those. So now what should I do? Worst place I could have ordered from. This might be a ****. I am so frustrated right now. I'm losing on my business, because of all this...

I am writing to express my growing frustration with the repeated pricing issues at your Phoenix branch. Almost every time I shop at this store, the shelf barcodes or promotional prices do not match what I am charged at the till. Because of this, I’ve made it a habit to double-check the product barcode against the price tag to avoid being overcharged. Unfortunately, today I was in a rush and did not check my slip at the store. I purchased items that were clearly marked on your promotional leaflet, including baby wipes advertised at R9.99. However, when I got home and checked the slip, I saw I was charged R12.99 instead. This is unacceptable, especially given the high cost of living. Many customers, especially the elderly, may not notice these discrepancies and end up overpaying. A small difference like R1, R2, or R3 per item, when multip**** by hundreds of customers, results in a significant gain for the store – but a big loss for honest shoppers. Please look into this matter urgently. I request that you fix the pricing system at this branch and ensure advertised prices are honored at the tills. Customers deserve transparency and fairness.

Thank you so much r Renee Pillay for outstanding customer service🥰. I bought a product at A5 but it was the last at the branch. I reached out to their online platform to assist find more of the product and Renee assisted me. She went above and beyond and made sure I got what I needed. Keep up the great work

If there was a 0 rating, I would give A5 Cash and Carry- Mthatha. I am an employee of the company. The store opened in November but we have been let go without notice or anything. We are not provided with a reason as to why we are being let go. They just told us to stay home and they will call us. The management is *********** and has no approach. He does not understand nor empathize with the fact that we have responsibilities. They just exploit employees Sometimes we work from 8am till 7pm and there is no overtime added to your pay. Truly disappointed with the operation.

Very disappointing experience at A5 cash and carry. I went to purchase items at the store and I was paying cash, because a note had a small piece of a tape which I recieved like that from an atm, I was told to either exchange the note, the note was not soiled and I myslef didn't understand why the tape was on it. After speaking to 2 people and they refused to accept my money and after me saying what if I don't have another R100.00 what if I was purchasing edible items and I was poor were they still going to not accept my money i was told no and that i should void items. I personally have worked with bulk money for 15 years now and knew that the money was valid I was then told by the manager at the store can I call the regional manager, the regional manager by the name of thavesan Naidoo or kavesan naidoo after me explaining and asking him am I wrong in saying there is nothing wrong with my money he said yes there is nothing with my money and I am right, however it is their drop box that won't take the money, with my years of experience with working with money I know that is an out right lie. So I question where is the ethical and moral standing with their customers if the store and its banking systems has a flaw is not the duty of the organization to resolve their internal flaws instead of making it their customers problem, to note as he himself regional manager was very unprofessional as when the store manager first contacted him and gave me to speak to him on phone, he had hang up on me and the manager had to call back. In an industry as such your customer is your biggest priority and the customer service on all levels at this branch on this day had really upset me as it was not just them refusing to take my note but also the condescending attitude from the supervisory level and up. Further to that I would never have questioned the process if I myself was not trained and or had no knowledge or experience in such matter however I do. The result of the transaction was me returning all my items and choosing to take my business else where, as i often shop at this store during the month. Store supervisors, managers and regional managers need training on money related matters, and customer service.

I needed some school stationery for the kids and saw their adverti*****t on their Facebook page. Their prices were way cheaper than other stores. Wanted to pick up my order in store, but was told by their online chat assistant that it would take 7-10 working days for it to be available. The same was applicable for courier. I chose the courier option and placed my order and it was delivered to me two days later. Convenience and efficiency at it's best. I will be a regular customer at A5 Cash and Carry.
