A complaint from Broker: I would like to understand why the vehicle was not removed from my client’s name immediately. This oversight is entirely unacceptable. My client was shocked and understandably distressed to discover that they are now liable for a fine associated with a vehicle that no longer belongs to them. It is my expectation that the individual responsible for processing the de-registration—whose negligence has caused this situation—takes full responsibility for the resulting fine. Incidents of this nature reflect extremely poorly on both insurers and brokers and are precisely the type of service failures that regulatory bodies such as the FSCA aim to prevent. There also has been a delay when with claims handling, which in turn causes clients to be dissatisfied with the services of Brokers. We are aware that their insurer might be responsible for delays but why then make use of a useless insurer like New National Assurance?

I am responding to the unfounded complaint by Rudi, I did request assistance from Hello Peter to respond to this complaint formally I was charged R599.00 and was told to wait for their attorney to asssit me. I am still waiting shall I give Hello Peter a 1 star rating for charging me and not assisting? Rudi is not our Insured client, I find it very interesting that although Rudi is not an Insured client of AC & E , Hello Peter still allow Rudi to give AC & E a negative review because he is unhappy with our claims process. As a registered FSP AC & E Group does not have the luxury to respond to Rudi on a public website. We will hand Rudi's complaint over to our attorney to explain to Rudi how the claim process work. Thank you Anne-Marie Fourie

I’m a contractor and insured my construction vehicles with AC&E Engineering via Raju Enterprise as the consultant( acting as a middle man), one of my trucks was involved in an accident where it was hit by a private car while the truck was stationery parked inside the yard. We went to police station to make an accident report with the other party and acknowledged that she was at fault and gave us her insurance details for purpose of claiming. We then contacted and informed our insurer about the accident. Since the accident happened on the 15th September 2019 they have been taking us from Pilar to Post, requesting new information everytime we made a follow up, regardless of that we kept on giving them what they wanted. Until today the 14th January 2020 when we make a follow-up they tell us that they cannot authorize the penal-bitter to repair the damages, they say I must fix the truck my self and they will only pay once I produce an invoice that is fixed. This was never explained to me when a started with them and I never signed anywhere that I acknowledge that condition, because I wouldn’t , it doesn’t make sense. If I have money to can fix my machinery when involved in an accident, why will I opt for insurance? I have been paying my monthly contributions very well without a single skip for the past 3 years, but they failing to do what is required when it’s needed. I need your help in this.
