On the 23 April 2025 I payed for a R5 699 queen size dynamics bed at Hazyview Laeveld mall Bed city shop, when I came back for collection I realised a fault on the base, I then opted for refund, I asked about their return policy they said the don’t have🚩🚩 they then requested that I go print my account statement at my cost🚩 do a copy of certified ID 🚩🚩 I left and brought all they requested. They promised that my money will reflect in my account within 24 hours, till today 08 May 2025 I haven’t get my mine, on Monday 05 May they apologised and made another promise that by Thursday I will get my money … 🚩🚩🚩 I waisted my patience on these people, I just curse the day I decided to enter that shop.. little did I know they running some ****a shop

Bed City Nelspruit On the 01st of September 2022 My partner went to buy a bed for our daughter, we needed a 3/4 bed. He got to the shop and they sell him a single size mattress and 3/4 base which was bigger than the mattress. That was on a Thursday the 1st of September, Friday the following day I came back from work since I was working out of town. I noticed the huge difference between the base and the mattress. He went to tell them about this matter and they said we must hire a transport to bring it to the shop because they don't provide a transportation. I find that unfair because we 1st hired a transport for the bed to get home, now we have to pay again for their mistakes. I went to the shop myself and spoke to the manager, he came to my house to see what they done. He also saw that the mattress was smaller than the base. The thing is the base is for another mattress and they new about it, just wanted to get it of it because they knew their closing the shop in few weeks. Now I'm stuck with **** thing which I paid for. Unhappy with this as they knew that they were were clearing their floor but on who's cost?

My name is Melissa Lasnibat, I purchased a Orth Premium Queen size bed from The Bed Shop in Nelspruit on the 2nd of December 2017. I haven't really been sleeping on the bed as I work long hours and on the road a lot. Recently I've noticed that the matress is sagging away on the LH side of the bed. I have taken photos and informed the store which I purchased the bed from, the lady informed me that I would need to pay transport fees for them to exchage the bed for me as I live in Barberton which is about 50km's from Nelspruit. <p>In 2014 I decided to do a lot of research and visited various stores before making a purchase on a good quality mattress. I eventually bought a 152cm Orthopaedic Essential mattress on the 12/11/2014 for 5,900.00 from Bed City 16 Raats Drive, Parklands, Cape Town. Tel 021- ********** Sale No.5039</p> <p>I believe that the Sales Representatives name was Marinda if I am not mistaken. I informed her that I would need the mattress to be delivered at the latest by Friday 28/11/2014 as I would be relocating from Cape Town to a Town called Vanderkloof in the Northern Cape on the 29/11/2014</p> <p>The mattress was delivered as promised but I was unable to inspect the mattress as it was covered in double plastic and felt it unnecessary at the time as I was still busy packing and would inspect the mattress as soon as I had relocated to the new premises.</p> <p>Once I had relocated I decided to remove the plastic from the mattress and noticed that there were some odd defects/flaws in the material at the foot of the mattress. I immediately contacted the Sales Represensative Marinda who had sold the mattress to me and since the mattress was still under warranty I decided to send her some photo's of the defects via my phone.</p> <p>Marinda apologized and informed me that she would immediatley contact their Bloemfontein branch who would be contacting me shortly and send a Rep out to inspect the mattress. She also said that it looked like a Factory fault and that once they had inspected the mattress they would replace it with a new mattress with no extra charges and she would ask them to throw in two extra pillows for the inconvenience caused.</p> <p>I had never slept on the mattress as I decided to recover it with the plastic and slept in the guest bedroom while waiting for a call from Bed City Bloemfontein to send their Rep out to inspect the mattress which has to never materialized to this day.</p> <p>Month after month had gone by and no one has ever had the decency to call me especially the Sales Represensitive Marinda. She has never had the moral dencency to follow up on my complaint or even call me. Yet, she was very quick to take my money and tell me such wonderful stories how dedicated Bed City is to their cutomers and if a customer was not satisfied with their mattress or had the slightest problem they wouldn't hesitate to change the mattress until their customers were happy. (I now believe that she would say anything just to make a sale).</p> <p>I had to continuesley call her due to her lack of interest with my complaint and her response was always the same that she would give them a call and they would call me back to make the necessary arrangements for inspection that I just needed to be patient as they will get back to me as soon as they can.</p> <p>Three months ago I decided since Bed City hasn't had the decency to respond to my complaint since December 2014 I decided to sleep on the mattress to test it out and found myself waking up three to four times during the night and ended up with back pain which made it very difficult to fall sleep and felt very tired the next morning.</p> <p>This has gone on far too long and I am very dissapointed with the lack of response and poor customer service. I believe this is totally unprofessional and unethical and I don't believe this is a good relection on your Company especially in times like these Bed City.</p> <p>It is now 2017 and I have yet to hear a single logical explanation as to why I have never had a response from you Bed City. </p>

<p>I would like to express how ecstatic I am with the best service that me and my partner received from Nkosi and Keba at Dial a bed Bylsbridge Centurion last Sunday.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was after we were continuously disappointed by one of the reputable furniture store and went to Dial-a-bed on the last minute.</p> <p> </p> <p>If beds were perishable items, we would be at Dial-a-bed every day.</p> <p>They have the best service from sales executives in stores to the delivery man.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p>I bought a bed on the 22 May 2016 at Bedcity, President Hyper Vaal, Vanderbijlpark. The sales person ensured delivery end of the following week at latest. Needless to say, no delivery. We called him on Monday 30 May (this is 8days later) and he promised delivery on Wednesday 1 June. We still called him Wednesday morning to confirm, as I needed to ensure that someone's at home; he once again promised that the bed will definitely be delivered. No delivery!!</p> <p>We called him Thursday 2 June, again he promised that the beds are loaded, they will deliver same day... needless to say, NO FREEKIN DELIVERY!!!</p> <p>I called again today 3 June, very patient... I informed him that I need to know when the bed will arrive, as I need to cancel some of my appointments otherwise no-body will be at home. He promised again that the beds are loaded and will arrive at 1000. You can imagine my dismay watching the time, loosing income and STILL NO BED!!!</p> <p>So, not only did I wait from 22 May to 3 June 2016 for a bed (it eventually did arrive, imagine that??); I lost income and faith in a company that makes lots of promises but cannot deliver...</p> <p>I do not want to do business with them again, and I am not interested in excuses. Pathetic...</p>

We ordered a standard length queen size mattress from the Montague Gardens branch on the basis of the size of the bed we were having made for us by another company. Once the bed arrived I arranged for delivery of the mattress, which we unpacked and placed on the bed base, only to find that the bed supplied was extra-length, not standard! As the bed had been custom-made, there was nothing we could do on that score, so we asked the Bed City manager if we could exchange the mattress for the extra-length size. He made a special effort to get it replaced for us, even though it had been unpacked. We were not charged for the additional transportation of the new mattress either. Excellent service!

Last year June I purchased a queen size bed at your Tableview branch. Not long after that the \ventilation\" attachments started falling off. It was just the one, hence me not reporting it. But noe its seems like all of them are starting to fall of. I paid over R7000 for the bed and for that price I expect a bit more. Now I have holes in the sides of my bed and its not a pretty picture to look at. "
