My phone was booked last month for repairs and I was told to not call the branch in Bloemfontein waterfront, until 21 days as will get my device after 21 days- weekends excluded. I only got emails this month, then paid my excess, and was told my phone will start to be repaired on Tuesday while I was expecting to get my phone. I called the branch, their repairs department and got email that says I wait for another 7 to 15 days of which it wasn't our initial agreement. The other agent at repairs told me that the problem was with the branch- where they didn't give me the claim forms..of which I got them this month on the 17th. From 22 September till today..and the agreement was to get it after 21 days excluding weekends..my patience has run out .

I bought a phone on contract on the 26 of November. I requested for an insurance but the person who was assisting me couldn't add it ,I then realized when I was looking at my account. I went to the cell c store in Rustenburg water fall. They can't help. What should I do? Is really disappointing for such ignorance because it could be worse if I lost my phone. I asked for an insurance, the person who was helping (Oratile) give me forms to sign . Can I be assisted with this matter, I really need to insure my device... Please get back to me asap 084 357 8877

Cell C insurance department is useless, I have a current claim since November 2021 and they still can't resolve my claim, they keep on saying that the claim is under review, but when I follow up, they put you on hold or put you through to a next person and no one can assist you promptly and give you and feedback as to why the claim is still under review. After numerous calls the claim is still pending. It is soooo frustrating that you pay insurance every month on a cell phone and then when it comes to claiming it takes for ever just to get the ball rolling.

Cell C insurance department is useless, I have a current claim since November 2021 and they still can't resolve my claim, they keep on saying that the claim is under review, but when I follow up, they put you on hold or put you through to a next person and no one can assist you promptly and give you and feedback as to why the claim is still under review. After numerous calls the claim is still pending. On the 16th of June 2021 my phone fell and broke,took it to the cell C store in Sandton 3 days later I had not received any sort of connection,called the insurance then I was told that the consultant has wrote the incorrect ime number,got that part sorted and I received an SMS requesting R300 excess fee which I paid the next day,24 hours late I called the insurance again and I was told that the booking wasn't done went to the store to find out why ,the consultant blames the insurance for that as it is a replacement phone and the guy called Lehlohonolo from the insurance said he was arranging the collection for the phone to this date I call every with NO clear answer as to why my phone hasn't been collected from the store to get repaired or even replaced,I have 3 contracts with Cell C and all are insured and now I'm thinking of canceling my insurance and request for a refund on excess fee that I paid and nothing has happened as yet.

My cellphone was stolen on 11march. I immediately blacklisted it and reported it to the insurance department of cell C. I gathered all of the necessary documentation and handed it in to the cell C shop in paarl Mall. On Friday 12 march I received an sms stating that my claim has been approved pending the excess claim being paid. The excess was paid on sunday 21 March and proof of payment provided as requested. On Tuesday 23 of march 2021 I phoned the insurance nr to follow up on my claim. I was told by Bernice that they had to see if my device was available or if it had to be outsourced. After she confirmed that my account was up to date she told me it had to be ousourced. The closest branch was Paarl mall and she had to contact them and will then get back to me. Two days later I had to contact them again as nobody came back to me. This time I spoke to Romeo. Once again he had to confirm that my acount was up to date and whether they had to outsource. He also confirmed that it had to be outsourced and tried to get hold of Paarl Mall branch. He could not get hold of them but told me he would try to get hold of them the following day (friday) and then come back to me. On Friday the 19th at 11:00 I had to phone again as nobody came back to me. I spike to lehnololo (maybe incorect spelling) as Romeo was not available. After explaining everything again, he said he will try and get hold of vaal mall branch again wich he could not. He would then supposedly contact eikestad mall branch to check for availability. After holding the line for approxamitely 5 min he came back to me just to tell me he has confirmed that my account is up to date. I was told that they only received proof of payment on the 17th of march and that my phone will take5-7 working days for delivery as that is the policy At this pont I asked to speak to the supervisor. I was put on hold again. When nobody came on the line I put the phone down and dialed them again. This time I came through to Bernice again. Once again I had to explain everything aiain. I again asked to speak to a supervisor and again I was put on hold.After holding on again and listening to lock down prorocols Mr Lehnololo came bach on the line trying to tell me again about the 5-7 days delivery. At this point in time I gave up as my patience was starting to run out. I googled the tel nr of the Paarl mall branch just to find out that that the number does not exist. I then contacted the info telkoms telephone directory to get the number. The number they supplied also came back as not existing. Soon after I get an SMS stating that a purchase order has been generated for my cell C device. It also goes on saying that approval and processing of he claim can take up to72 hour. I was also told that this does not include weekends as they do not work during weekends and public holidays. THis is the worst service I have experienced in my whole life and would like answers please bur above all my phone that I have been paying the insurance for

I have been a cell c client for a very long time and I have never complaint about anything however their insurance sucks they just want to take your money then when you make a claim for a new phone they will make it very hard for you. People jammed my car and stole things in my car including the phone then when I made my claim from csurance they said they cannot help me because there is not proof of breaking into the car. Cell c will lose clients because of its insurance company

I have been a cell c client for a very long time and I have never complaint about anything however their insurance sucks they just want to take your money then when you make a claim for a new phone they will make it very hard for you. I have sent my phone for repairs, on the back lens, I haven't received it as yet, and its been almost 5 weeks now and they claim their turn-around time is 7 to 14 days. I currently don't have a phone and its a huge inconvenience for me.

this is the worst experience i have ever received, my cell phone broke and i send it in for repairs and they said it will take up to 21 working days than i will receive it, and now almost 4 months my phone is still with them if i don't follow up with them no one bothers to communicate with me, they wanted to offer me a down graded phone than the one that is in repairs i guess they wanted me to shut up, and i refused the phone, than they wanted to give me another phone but i should pay extra, i am already paying for a phone for the past 4 months that i don't even have with me, why should i pay more for a phone if i was supposed to have my phone already 3 months ago, i am really disgusted with the service of cellc device insurance i wont recommend anyone to take out insurance with them.
