My daughter app**** for medical cover from Emergivac for her return to RSA. The call centre agents were unhelpful and would not change the date of her debit order so that her cover kicked in from the day she arrived back in the country. Her emails went unanswered and when I tried to call their phones were not answered on a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

I was very skeptical when I first read about Emergivac. I had read bad reviews but always thought everyone has their own experiences so, Not have medical aid, I needed some sort of private hospital care when it came to any emergency for me and my family. I took up the policy, and one night in my second month of being with them. My daughter had picked up a very high fever, throwing up and because it was in the middle of the night we couldn't get any Drs. I logged an emergency on the app, they called me immediately and asked what was wrong and sent an ambulance. The ambulance came, said she had to go to the ER to get treated. They confirmed with Emergivac that she had to go, and they took us to the nearest private hospital. She was treated with meds and wasn't admitted. Emergivac paid for her ambulance service, the hospital dr and meds. I was so impressed with this service. Thank you again.

Our policy with Emergivac was cancelled a few months ago. All of a sudden they are trying to take the Debit order again from our account. Emails have been forwarded to them but they keep on trying to steel our money! I had to phone the bank to reverse this *****ulent transaction but they keep on trying to steel our money!

Kindly receive attached proof of payment as requested and assist with profile activation. I waited for profile login credentials for +30 days till to date, and was further informed my account will be activated once the first premium is debited, unfortunately the system failed to generate me login pin to my app. I've called numerous times from Monday the 5th June 2023 till today the 9th June 2023 requesting assistance but nothing happened. Please rectify this error because, I was told by your consultant Bonolo that my premium debit is not reflecting on your system meaning I don't have cover on my policy which I've already paid for, this amount was debited on the 26th May 2023 from my capitec account. Your system is failing to generate login pin, last month we tried to generate the pin while I was on the line but it failed on both my numbers consistantly and a ticket was raised but I never received feedback. If there's an alternative method I can use to get assistance should I have an emergency kindly advice. Regards Mr A Makgoale

The most incompetent people I have dealt with in my life! Messed up my debit order from the very first month, I have called and sent emails to have the matter resolved, I was assured that it was - only to find the same problem at the end of the month when they debit my account again. I then opted to cancel my services - requested an immediate cancellation about four times, gave a written cancellation and spoke to 3 of their highly incompetent and rude agents who again assured me that my services with them have been cancelled and to date I AM STILL BEING DEBITED and charged a debit order reversal fee every month because of this pathetic company where absolutely nobody will take accountability or the initiative to try and assist their clients.

My name is Sharad Makhan. I had recently joined a medical insurance named emergivac, the cover is for accident and illness which is to cover you in casualty and if need be admission. On the 8th of December 2022 my fiancé fell ill at work to the point whereby she was disorientated and was throwing up very badly. We requested assistance from emergivac which took her to a government hospital and yet the policy states you will be taken to the nearest private hospital and that did not happen. When I got to the government hospital she was in a lot of pain and was not seen to, I called emergivac again to transfer her to a private hospital, when that happened the hospital it said emergivac is not apart of their network yet the policy does not specify that we have to go to network hospitals, they only covered the casualty cost and the doctor said she needs to be admitted, they then said that they can only cover the admission if its life threatening and this was traumatic because my fiance is 3 weeks pregnant and they refused to pay for admission. The emergivac agent that sold the product did not mention anything about admission for life threatening events only. There is still a bill to come for blood tests. The only reason why I am not going to the media with this or taking legal action is I first want to see what emergivac has to say about this. How the ****** hell is a paramedic or call centre person to know if a illness is life threatening or not, my fiance could not even talk properly and your " admission guarantee" is a lie for she had illness and was refused to be covered. Oh and before you say she was rushed to the nearest government or private hospital Northdale Hospital was not the nearest hospital it is one of the worst government hospital. I await your reply. I hope this reaches someone competent and not the someone like the terrible, unprofessional and rude agent that sold me this horrible product. The only thing I am grateful for is that Patsy in your control room did all she could to at least get her seen to at a private hospital. My fiance is traumatised and still very ill at home I truly this hope this means something to you people.

The worst service from a company that is meant to give you peace of my, I definitely do think this company is a scam and will never deliver on their promise. My account has been deactivated and they said it’s because they were never able to collect premiums, I sent them my statement as proof to show that they actually have successfully debited ever since I signed up. Consultants are sending me from pillar to post, o have been told so many time that they will call me back but they fail to do so. I am extremely u happy with their service and I think they must be investigated! Clearly they are defrauding people out of their hard earned money and will never deliver on their emergency service. Do not fall for this horrible scam, till today my account is frozen and I’m not getting any answers! I want my money back from these fraudsters!

Let me first start by asking people to be fair and realistic when writing their reviews. There is no insurance company that can "send you an info pack" when you haven't even taken the policy. All info regarding the policy, features, benefits and exclusions is on their website you just need to go and read it, you can't go around labeling companies as "SCAM" when you weren't scammed by them or even dealt with them that's very misleading to the public Mr Adrian. . How can you say it's a scam , you didn't claim and were not paid nor was your money debited from your account and even if it was you have 40 days to reverse a debit order and 30 days to cancel a policy and get your money back. You maybe spoke to a consultant that failed to explain matters to you properly, but does that mean the policies of the company is a fraud? No, if you had gone on their website you would have gotten all info you needed. Now as for my personal experience, I saw their ad on TV went on their website read through everything then sent in a request for someone to call me. They did and I took the policy and then I was emailed my Policy Documents with all benefits and exclusions. I had a blocked drain , I used the button on the app and was assisted immediately a consultant called me and sent a plumber to my house (Linda I think) ( very helpful and professional thank you so very much). I can recommend Emergivac to anyone any day, they're partnered with an old reputable and trusted company CLIENTELE that's why I also trusted their product.
