Homechoice has become a ****mer and it’s unbelievable, I placed an order of 6 pieces but received 4 , i lodged a request the lady said i need to submit an affidavit of which i did but until today nothing. Secondly I owe but I paid, i’m not sure how their system works. I also have an order that has been stuck on processing. I’m so disappointed by this company

Homechoice has become a ****mer and it’s unbelievable, I placed an order of 6 pieces but received 4 , i lodged a request the lady said i need to submit an affidavit of which i did but until today nothing. Dear HomeChoice, I am extremely upset and disappointed with the service I have received from HomeChoice. Unfortunately, my experience has been so negative that I now understand why there are so many poor reviews about your company. I opened an account and purchased duvet covers worth approximately R1,500. At the time of placing the order, I was informed that my agreed monthly instalment would be R167. However, to my surprise, when the first payment became due, I was told to pay R223 instead. When I queried this, I was informed that the additional amount included service fees and delivery charges. Although I was unhappy about this, I proceeded with the payments. What concerns me the most is that despite paying R223 for three consecutive months, my balance barely decreased: * After the first payment, the balance was still around R1,400. * After the second payment, the balance was still around R1,200. * After the third payment, the balance was still approximately R1,217. This made absolutely no sense to me, as I was paying more than the agreed instalment amount, yet the balance hardly moved. The charges and interest app**** to my account appear inconsistent and unfair. I fully settled my account on 25 May 2026, yet on 26 May 2026 I continued receiving calls from your agents demanding payment. I am still waiting for my paid-up letter, and I want my account closed immediately. Another major issue is the unprofessional conduct of your sales consultants. I have received excessive and repeated calls from your agents, even after informing them multiple times that the account has been paid up. Some agents laugh when I explain that the calls are becoming harassment, and then call back again shortly afterwards. This behaviour is unacceptable, especially while I am at work trying to focus. Your agents have been rude, inconsiderate, and highly unprofessional. Since your calls are recorded, I request that management review the call recordings for quality and conduct purposes. Please provide: 1. My paid-up letter urgently. 2. Written confirmation that my account has been permanently closed. 3. Confirmation that all collection and sales calls to my number will stop immediately. 4. A detailed explanation of the charges and why my balance did not decrease accordingly despite consistent payments. My account number is: 1144729****953 I regret opening an account with HomeChoice and would not recommend your services based on my experience.

I am extremely disappointed and livid with the comforter I received from Homechoice. The item delivered appears to be used, rejected, and in an unacceptable condition, as if it had previously been returned by another customer. This is completely unacceptable for a product sold as new. A Used/Rejected and Smelly Comforter was Delivered Instead of a brand New Item. The comforter does not meet basic standards of quality and hygiene, and I feel disrespected as a customer for receiving an item that looks worn and used. I paid for a new product, not something that appears to have been rejected and sent out again.

I am utterly disappointed In the terrible terrible service I am receiving from Homechoice! They sold me a TV, I paid it for 7 months and it stopped working! I logged a compliant they referred me to Hisense who picked up TV told me it can’t be fixed I must get a refund from Homechoice! Homechoice sent me from pillar to post! After I submitted my proof of payments I was told I would get my refund in 5 working days! Today is 10 working days and I still don’t have a refund! What’s worse is when I call in they keep me on hold and tell me that the refund is awaiting authorisation! And what is even more upsetting is that the staff is telling me I will not get a full refund and they can’t tell me why. So here I am waiting for a refund which i don’t even know how much it will be and Homechoice refuses to call me back and I am sitting without a TV at home! Nobody should ever buy from Homechoice they have horrible customer service and *********** staff! Especially the managers! They have no management skills - they can’t even resolve queries!

I placed an order online with HomeChoice. Somehow their poor system picked up my old rental address. I called them after I noticed the problem. They told me they cant update the address. Ok cool, I sincerely asked them to cancel the order so I can start a new one. They told me they can’t do that. They will deliver my order by force at the wrong address. What kind of ***** business is that. The has been stuck now. I called them multiple times with any success.
