Tombstone instalation refund
Hi im Nkosinathi Khulu ID 8001235479086 I love been wanting my refund from this company since last year no one is willing to help even 1 life i was having my parents policy with says they can't help as the money was claimed by Metgram as I wanted to put the tombstones for my parents now I already put the tombstones as the failed to put it now I want refund they always say its with the payment department please assist anyone I need ombudsman as this 2 companies are running **** il1 life and metgram pty Ltd. Headstone still in manufacturing 8 months later!!!!
On the 3rd of March 2025, I sent 1Life's headstone service provider (Metgran) final confirmation and receipt from the cemetery that we can put up a headstone for my father. Was promised that it will be ready in 3 - 4months being July 2025 the latest. Followed up on the 22nd of July 2025 about it since the time had elapsed and was told that the Headstone was still in manufacturing and that they would get back to me once done. It is now End of October 2025, 8 months later and still no headstone has been received. After laying a complaint, I was once again told that the headstone is still in manufacturing and no timeline is available as to when it will be available. Requested a cash payout on it rather and was once again given another long wait by the service provider (Metgran) with an excuse that, "Payment will be done, but they dont know when it will be done". Im assuming a long wait of 8months again." They give no priority to clients, bad in communication and truely the poorest service provider I have come across.

The service of this company is totally unprofessional. They dont belong is such a business. Ive been waiting since November last year for our Tombstone to be installed .1 Life should really do a check on this company. They cannot deliver .i am forever sorry that i picked up the phone the first time when they phone..I will not advise my worst enemy to do business with this company

The service of this company is totally unprofessional. They dont belong is such a business. Ive been waiting since November last year for our Tombstone to be installed .1 Life should really do a check on this company. They cannot deliver .i am forever sorry that i picked up the phone the first time when they phone..I will not advise my worst enemy to do business with this company

Failure to install Tombstone
From September 2024 I have asked them every month, today as well when are they going to install theTombstone on my Sister's grave which was fully paid by 1Life. They told me today that they don't know when they will install the Tombstone. I have messages from Metgran which I can forward to support this. This Tombstone need to be installed so we can honour my Sister and to get closure. From Nomana Tshingana

Waiting for the headstone
My sister passed on, on the 16th of March 2023, she had a policy with 1life which also covered the headstone, which is not installed till now, when we call we are told stories, I'm tired, I just want my sisters grave to be dignified, my sister was a well respected person, today marks exactly 11 months, luckily the graveside doesn't have the policy of headstones being installed within a year but nonetheless, the headstone should be installed

Disgusting, I dont even have any words other than close shops because clearly you dont know what you doing
My people please don't go to this company for your tombstones needs, they are contracted by 1Life to make 2 for me for my parents, since last year March to date, I'm still waiting with no word or phone call or email explaining this long unnecessary delay.

Waste of time and money
I had bought a tombstone from them I was told the full tombstone is under production that can to 2 to 3 months, six months later it has not been installed and only now am told they only going to install the handstone.
