I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable service and food quality my group and I experienced at your restaurant on 5 November. What was meant to be an enjoyable meal turned into a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience. We arrived at around 9:30 a.m. and were among the first customers of the day. We placed an order for six mutton bunny chows, and our waiter informed us that it would take about 25 minutes to prepare as the food was being freshly cooked. We were patient and willing to wait. However, after waiting 45 minutes, we enquired at the counter and were told to wait another 20 minutes. The delay continued with no communication or apology from staff. By this point, we had already been waiting for over an hour and a half. I then asked to speak to the manager, hoping to get a clear explanation or at least an apology. Instead, I was met with rudeness and complete unprofessionalism. The manager arrogantly said he couldn’t say when the food would be ready and even remarked, “If the waitress told you the bunny isn’t ready, why did you order it?” This kind of attitude is completely disrespectful to paying customers and shows a total lack of customer service. After a four-hour wait, our food was finally served. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The bunnies were floating in watery gravy, the taste was bland, and the amount of artificial food colouring was shocking. It was inedible and certainly not worth the time, effort, or money we spent.

We have been loyal patrons of this restaurant but recently we reported that the toilets are atrocious and the place has a bad smell coming from the toilets. We have stopped using them as we complained to management and they do nothing. Often the toilets have no soap, toilet rolls

Unhappy with the quality of food received. Bunny bread was stale , and the dhall for the breyani was spoiled. Upon calling the manager to check the food, he said that’s the range of bread they have to use. He admitted that the dhall was “going off” . He then asked what he must do about it. As a customer, my opinion is that he should have a solution to the problem and not ask the customer to find a solution. He then began to say he isn’t feeling well and that’s why he asked what we wanted him to do about it. Customer service was not given.

I visited Orientals @ Galleria Mall today with my mum. Went there after 7 years the last experience was pathetic so never went there again. Yet again pathetic. The chicken was not cooked the first time round they wanted to recook those meals I refused had to send back to make new meals. Meals came back fine. I ordered a takeaway chicken shawarma which isn't a classic wrap which I know to be a shawarma its a pita pocket the chips were thrown on top of the pita not in one corner. I asked for a glass of water 3 times until I went up to the express till and asked them for it. The owner never seems to take criticism very well always wanting to argue back with excuses for everything thats why I stopped going there many years ago. I refused to pay for "shawarma" and I asked for my bill to just pay and leave. I asked the waiter to ammend my bill for just the 2 meals drinks and dessert my mum and I had. I paid and left will never go back there not even in the next 7 years. I also still got charged R10 for chips that I didnt order I have called in and left my name and number for manager to call me still haven't received a call back.

Please do not buy meals from Orientals Galleria, they serving old food. Spoke to the owner now and he made excuses and asked me for a Dr note. Showed no empathy at all. Your service as an owner is absolutely pathetic.

The biggest con artist around!!! My family of 6 visited the restaurant, after being seated was told sorry our specials has ended ten minutes ago. The con here is they advertise with a hugh banner meals make you sit and then remove the banner. They put the banner up at six pm and we were seated at 6.30. How's it possible for the food to get finished in that time when the restaurant is quite. After speaking to the staff we were informed the owner does this to attract customers. Shameful Muslim!!!

My worse experience in a restaurant. Galleria Orientals I waited at the play area for assistance for about 10 minutes thereafter I walked to the door where all the waiters and waitress stand when I got there I've asked for assistance in a menu and to have my table clean. The one waitress SAID NO while they all burst out laughing. I there proceeded to speak to the manager where they viewed camera footage of what occurred they did apologize however the humiliation and embarrassment of what they cause was not funny at all.
