On March 2nd I bought 2 comforter****ongst other things) from Mr Price Home Kenilworth Center and before the 1st wash the one comforter was already covered in pills. Tiny fluff ***** all over the comforter. I went to the store to tell them about it and was told to have the piece of cardboard that was wrapped around it otherwise I can't return it. Who keeps those things to begin with? Every other store only want to see your receipt. And they expect one to keep what they call the "packaging". Why wasn't I informed to do so when I purchased the item? I'm really not happy with this. Things are expensive and the quality of that comforter was just ****! I'm really disguised with Mr Price home.
In August I purchased alcohol swabs. I received my order and the packaging stated alcohol swabs. Not too long ago I only needed it and upon opening it saw it was something else. I logged a return and received an email stating they won't take it back as the return policy is 30days. Yes I understand the return policy if it was that I ordered the wrong item but they sent me the wrong item and is not taking accountability for it. The warranty is 6 months and if any issue can be returned. Well there is an issue and yet I was sent the exact same item back. It's like Takealot basically sending me the middle finger.
I am having a major issue with Bash. I placed an order on Dec 2nd 2024 and the courier has already canceled collecting as they've tried thrice to collect and nothing was handed over to them. I went as far as calling the store to hear and was told they've never received my order. The lady in store has been trying to sort it as have I and no one can get through to them. Apparently they are unavailable to take calls until further notice. A big company with tons of online orders and tons of issues I'm sure, decides to NOT help their customers during the festive season!
I have been waiting for a refund since the 16th of October 2024 and still hasn't been refunded. I've been receiving emails stating something different every time. I am fed up now.
I've been buying Hungry Lion through Mr Delivery multiple times now and a few times in-store. The last few times I've received my order via delivery it has been a total nightmare. From raw chicken to missing food items. On one 1 or 2 occasions Mr Delivery partially refunded me but it goes beyond that. The store has to take accountability for its incompetence. There's times where the crispy coating is a pale color like the chicken hasn't been fried long enough and on some occasions seems like old chicken were refried as it is dry and tough as biltong. I have all the receipts and some pics. The lack of skill used to just wait for the right time to remove chicken is beyond me. I'm sure everything works with a timer. Disgusting to say the least.
My credit card was in arrears by less than a month and I was handed over to Standard banks attorneys. I made the payment due and the payment for the following month and am still being harassed by the attorneys as well as being asked for more money. People owe millions and get away with it I forgot to make a payment and 3 weeks after the due date get handed over to attorneys. Please do not call me as my phone is not working and would appreciate an email.
I was about to post a complaint on Hellopeter about Makro and while typing received a call from Francois :) Thank you for the effort you made to get the product, you just made my daughter's day! Now to see if it'll be here in time for the birthday boy....nonetheless just glad effort was made on Makro's side and again thank you Francois I really appreciate it :)
Got a takeaway order from Topeka Spur Kenilworth for supper for the kids which was made up of 2x the burger specials (the 2 chicken burger meals for R130) they have going. What a disappointment. The kids couldn't bite through the chicken as it was tough and dry and I don't know if they forgot to add the basting sauce. Bland is putting it mildly. Thought I'd be saving time and money but ended up costing me more.
Wow Fnb is something else. I received a letter from their attorney today to pay my loan amount in full. Reason for the attorney's letter is due to me not paying. I have told them On numerous occasions that I am unemployed and cannot afford to pay. Where am I supposed to get the money to settle the loan?
I don't know what FNB want me to do. I just received an sms that I've been handed over to FNB Loans Legal Collections who will be proceeding with legal action. I don't own a cent and been retrenchment due to covid which I told them on numerous occasions and I was told to pay what I can afford and that's what I've been doing. And was told October they will review things again and see how things are going. Why would any sane person want a bad credit record. If I was such a bad payer pre covid I wouldn't have been offered the loans to begin with. Yes offered as I never applied for it but had a good track record hence the offer. I don't know if they want me to sell an organ to pay the loan.
