The pets really do come first with them. Records changed and updated in a jiffy with friendly, polite service. My pet is safer thanks to them.
Dear Takealot Team, I have been a customer of yours for many, many years and I have, up until now, been blown away by everything to do with Takealot. The items you offer, the marketing, the ease of payment, fast, reliable delivery and efficient returns have been fabulous, absolutely fabulous. And then order number 89770816 happened. I initially watched the disaster unfold with some amu*****t but now, a month down the line, I don’t know whether to be beyond angry or just despairing of the possibility of my ever ordering from you again. I ordered 2 x 4boxes of Whiskas Cat food. When the order arrived, only 1 x 4boxes was delivered. The following day I sent a message to returns (the only address I could find) to explain that some of my order was missing. And now the fun begins. I have been asked to return the missing items, not once, not twice, not three times but multiple times. Please could somebody there please explain to me HOW CAN I RETURN SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT DELIVERED IN THE FIRST PLACE?????? Part of the problem is that you do not deal with the same person from start to finish. So every new person went down the same rote road that every other previous person had gone. Nobody seemed to be able to take a step back and THINK that this was not a return and possibly needs to be dealt with differently? I even sent photographs to prove that the box that was delivered was too small to have possibly contained another 4 boxes of cat food. The final straw to this lengthy saga during which I must have tried to deal with more than 10 people came last week. When I was reprimanded for not reporting the omission within 7 days (???) and then when a Takealot driver ACTUALLY ARRIVED TO COLLECT THE MISSING ITEMS!!!!!! WT actual F?? What a waste of the money I have spent on you. Especially after I had even queried the message telling me someone was going to collect the goods. They STILL arrived. And then I get a message to say the return was unsuccessful. Well DUH. Which rocket scientist figured that one out? So what now. Must I go out and buy 4 boxes of cat food to return to you? Should I just return an empty box? What do you want from me!!!??? This situation has gone from amusing to ridiculous to positively infuriating. In the space of 4 weeks Takealot has undone years of excellent service. I am at my wits end. Shall I just write Takealot and my 4 boxes of cat food off and call it quits? Because my sanity is in serious jeopardy at this stage. Please would somebody tell me how to return something I did not receive to now either get it or get a refund. I’m open to suggestions. Even magic if need be. This has also now been sent to numerous emails at your company.
Isabella Garcia. Once again you have blown my socks off. Yesterday you delivered my order, amongst which was the shampoo and conditioner. I used them last night and wow....just wow. I noticed an instant difference in the feel and look of my hair. It is very long and coloured and tends to look dry (frizzy). I previously used a ton of product to try to get it to look a little more sleek. Your shampoo and conditioner, after one wash, achieved what nothing else did. As I said... wow... just wow. Thank you
Complete fail when it comes to online shopping. Orders take ages to fulfill and one order gets delivered part part over a 4 week plus time period. This has been (and sadly is) a most frustrating experience. AND part of the order is wrong but, for fear of waiting another month, I'm not going to exchange it. I have just deleted Loot from my online shopping selection.
I shopped online for Groceries (56 items) and put them into my wishlist. Now the Live Chat person tells me that I cannot move items to my basket because they “are out of stock”. All 56 of them? As well as random others I checked? This is just not possible. Please would someone explain this to me?
I have been using SweepSouth for over a year now and they are fantastic. Not only are their Sweepstars vetted and well trained, but the office staff are just as amazing. Every Monday I thank my lucky stars for SweepSouth. Their business model is perfect.
Exceptionally bad service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! AT ALL. EVER.
My partner has a monthly debit order coming off of his bank account but he does not have an MTN account. When you try to contact MTN to query this you have to enter the relevant MTN number or it bombs out. If he jolly well had a number he wouldn't need to be calling them! Absolutely every avenue for contact on their website leads to the request for the relevant number. Even their Sales option asks for the MTN number! How completely inefficient, unprofessional and idiotic.
I am being punished for being a loyal Vodacom customer! I saw a deal in the 4U September magazine, A Huawei P20 plus a T3 10" Tablet. As I am due to upgrade (a significant upgrade from a Top Up 200 to a Smart M+) I was thrilled at the prospect of getting both for R899 p/m. Only to be told that that was available only to NEW accounts. NOT Upgrades. But that the P20 only on an M+ package could be mine for just under R1000. So I'm being punished for wanting to stay with Vodacom. Oh, and the best of it is that, apparently, customers are supposed to know that the offer is only for new numbers because it includes the wording "free SIM and connection fee." Call me stupid but there is no connection there to upgrades... because you usually have to pay a token amount to upgrade anyway. I am intensely disappointed in Vodacom.
Someone, not me, decided to change my contract from top up to open line. My monthly cost went from R605/pm to R8100 in January and R2900 in February before shutting down the Sim cards. I have been trying since end Feb to sort this out. My numbers have now been barred and no one has come back to me about my complaint. I am so done with this complete lack of responsibility and service.
