I’m writing this review on behalf of a close friend who had a really upsetting experience over December. She asked two of her best friends—both real estate agents—to help rent out her home while she was away. Unfortunately, one of them arranged for her ex-husband to stay there, at half the market rate, with no deposit, no formal agreement, and zero accountability. When my friend returned home, she discovered five of her towels were missing, her sunglasses were gone, and a plate had been broken. Naturally, she reached out and politely asked for these items to be replaced—only to be met with swearing, aggression, and incredibly unprofessional behavior from someone she trusted. It’s upsetting to see someone take advantage of friendship like this, especially when they’re meant to be professionals in the property space. This kind of conduct is unacceptable, and I’d strongly caution anyone against trusting these individuals with their home or property.
Katlego is honestly such a superstar! We have been averaging on 15mbps on a 250mbps line for several months now. We assumed it was a marine cable issue, however it started effecting our productivity. We read some reviews and thought it was going to be an uphill battle getting our network sorted out. How wrong were we! We sent a ticket through late last night and was on the phone to Katlego from the minute the call centre opened their doors. She was fabulous in running tests, explaining exactly what the problem was and how we are going to fix it going forward! I was really really impressed with the service we have received today. Thanks to the RocketNet team
To all future brides, this is a warning about the one bridal. They appear to either be scam artists or just incompetent as hell. My dress cost R28 000 and this is what I received: Meeting 1: cancelled the morning of. Meeting 2: cancelled the morning of. They then insisted I pay the balance of my dress. I refused until I laid eyes on the dress. Meeting 3: I was made to wait outside for half an hour. The big day: I received a note to say that they had car issues and were not going to make it with my dress. My bridesmaids handled it and so, she shipped my dress to me in an Uber. This is what I received: A skew zip not sewn in properly and thus, would not zip up. A massive gaping hole in my overcoat skirt. Some random piece sewn on as if they were using my dress to teach themselves off of a YouTube video made by a toddler. Holes in the mesh underskirt which was the main feature of my reception. The mesh was so long I kept tripping. Eventually my wedding coordinator had to cut it off. No measurements appear to have been taken. My over skirt was dramatically too big for my waste (note-I went for a final fitting 4 days prior). Black and red marks were evident all over the dress. We had to try clean it off before the wedding. Last but not least, the ribbing was stabbing my arm pits the entire night. I have requested a refund and am being completely ghosted. This battle is far from over. Being a bride is stressful enough. The one wonderful thing about the this extremely stressful planning process is the dress. Keep it an amazing experience and do not even bother with this bridal company. It’s a sham.
Future brides to be, I urge you not to use JJs house. I placed an order a month ago for my bridesmaids dresses as well as their hair accessories. R12 000 later (R2000 being for delivery), my parcel got stuck at customs with a failure. I now need to pay customs and have no clue when I am getting this parcel. Just save yourself the drama and buy from anywhere else.
I am a designer who has ordered lights from a great lighting supplier who actually knows a thing or two about customer service. The Courier Guy, however, does not. They have lost a parcel belonging to one of my clients which has created a ripple effect. I am disgusted at this company! They have no shame, no protocols and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WANT MY PARCEL AND THEN I WILL BE TAKING FURTHER ACTION DUE TO DAMAGES TO MY COMPANY NAME
If I could give them a -100, I would. You people are shocking and disgusting! Liars, thieves and defamers. Never ever ever use biddulphs if you want your cargo to make it to your home in tact and in full. Also be careful... they aren’t afraid to throw outrageous accusations your way claiming nasty stories about your family.
Best service ever! I needed to change or cancel my flight and Kyle Delcarme helped me via WhatsApp chat. It was so quick and easy. Definitely going to be using travel start for every trip I take.
Worth -5 stars. This is now the third time I have gotten Fournos Bakery food and once again, shocking food. I may as well have bland peiece of toast. It would be less try then the Tramazzini I was just presented with from Fournos Bakery. This is what I received for R80 this morning: Bread that was dry enough to compete with a desert. Chicken that was unseasoned and appears to have been cooked in a dehydrating machine. They used their stale and dried out cheese variety in such a way that was small enough to be decorative and big enough to have fed a mouse. On the up side, well done Fournos. Just enough Avo was served. 3 chances were given and now I am fed up. That was theft, not food.
In the last week I have gone to several Vodacom stores and am getting incredibly unimpressed with every single one and it’s customer care. First store visited was in the Marc. I have never seen such incompetence and could see the cluelessness in the sales representatives eyes. She had absolutely no idea what was going on around her. I had a broader knowledge of the different packages than the person behind the desk. Second and third stores were in Sandton city. I tried to upgrade my contract there as well. Before I could even open my mouth I was told “ out of stock”. Surely there is a back order? I wasn’t even given the option to go onto the back order list before I got turned away. Shocking! Absolutely shocking! Four store in Sandton city. I have now been with Vodacom for an odd 15 years. I asked for the upgrade as well as to add an accessory (the Apple Watch 5 series) to my Vodacom portfolio. I was given the coldest “your portfolio isn’t strong enough” which made me feel like Vodacom thinks it is too good for my money. When asking what they mean by that, he said I cannot upgrade my contract an extra 300 rand because I have a weak portfolio. VODACOM!!!! What the f*%#k does that even mean? To sum up, I will be moving to either man, telkom or cell c. Anything but Vodacom as my money is not wanted there.
Absolutely livid. If there was less than one star, that would be the Telkom service. Between technical support and sales, they have been sending me back and fourth as no one seems to want to help me. My dogs ate my landline cable for my ADSL and telkom support and sales don't seem to want to take my money and get me a new one!!!!!! I have told them I am going to cancel my account with them and no one seems to really care??? For your own good, NEVER use telkom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bottom line is their only concern and once they have made the initial sale, you are no longer a valued customer!
