Seems like a ****. Pay, register your domestic, and months later, has not been registered, don't respond to emails, seems like it's money flushed down the toilet. Paid 13 March, to date, still waiting for respose to my mail or to register my domestic for UIF
Really porr claims process, really poor service partners. it's taken 3 weeks since I logged the claim to NOT get my 2 windscreens repaired.
Incopmpetence at the highest level. Ordered 2 items for xmas presents. 1. First item, they tell me 4 days before xmas it's only going to be delivered at the end of Jan (Nothing on their website said there was no stock. 2. Second item was dispatched through their absolutel useless courier company WumDrop, who were trying to deliver it to the incorrect address, as such, has bneen returned to sender, and leave me practically no time to rectify this before xmas. 3. spent 30 minutes on hold to their customer non-service departmen before I gave upt, meaning this item has now cost me MORE than if I were to go to my local store purchase it. the kicker is, now I have to wait god knows how long for Makro to either refund the order, or have it delivered, and I'm 1xmas present down.
Drivers are incapable of readint the delivery address, order returned to sender as they could not deliver. You can't even contact any sort of coordination office off their web site to find out what's going on. +-30Min of phone calls trying to locate my order, (Still unsuccessful - which has now cost me more than if I took time off work, drove 30km to collect the order myself, it would have spared me all the hassle. Seriously, this company is worst, please don't anyyone use them)
Worst bank, they gave me the wrong banking details to make a deposit into, now, 8 days later, my money is still not reflecting and they give timelines of anouther 6 days to rectify, I'm losing interest daily thanks to their incopmpetence. Their system are so archaic, and their service sucks. Dont take a home loan through them, they may lure you with lower interest rates, but it's not worth the hassles and headaches of litereally having to go to the branch to do everything, and staling your money.
Great pricing over my existing insurer. Was around 250km away from home, got 2x punctures (thanks to a pothole entrance to hell) at around 7:30pm. They organized a flatbet to nearest town. The towing partner was great, organized the tyre shop to open at 11:pm to get me on my way. all in all, took about 5 hours to resolve with minimal impact to my weekend
Placed an order with them for a 12TB hard drive, R7595. a week later they double debited my card, now it's maxed out, I emptied my accounts trying to top up the card, until i realized it was a double debit from loot, now all my accounts are empty, I'm still maxed out, and have no means to pay for anything. Nobody customer service, no reply on Facebook, twitter, call center. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning.. as if I have unlimited time to deal with this BS! this is theft.
The Digital Experience - Fourways. Amazing Service! Needed a camera lens urgently as an online foto discount retailer let me down badly with their shocking service. I phoned them asked if they had stock of a particular lens, spoke to a gentleman named Jacques who managed to find stock, hold it in store for me, and matched the price of what I was paying through the online retailer. Seriously guys - I'ts the second time you've helped me out of a pickle.
Needed a Lens urgently, phoned to enquire if they had stock of the lens i was interested in, they confirmed stock and if I ordered, delivery would be about 2 days. I placed the order and paid on the friday. Following Monday i phoneed to confirm all was in order, they said they're going through their orders, they would let me know. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I phoned and mailed asking for an update / ETA - nobody returned my calls or e-mails. Thursday evening I mailed saying I'm expecting delivery by COB Friday as I needed the Lens for a weekend shoot. Eventually Friday, someone returns my mails telling me there is no stock, they're querying with the manufacturer when they will be getting stock. I phoned a different photo shop, who also had no stock, however phoned the manufacturer, who delivered within a day, albeit, a day after I needed it. Good prices, but absolutely shocking service! - Will never buy from them again. Rather pay more money and actually a get response to my queries.
I ordered items online, sent a follow up mail on Monday asking if the goods would be ready for collection on Thursday (goods were in stock, with a "order ready time of 3 to 5 days") - I needed it for a Birthday that weekend. No reply, phoned, nobody gave me any info. Made a special trip, driving from Rivonia to Strubens valley to pick up the items, nobody in branch had any record of the order, a week after I placed it Approximately 6 weeks later, 6 phone calls, and around 13 e-mails (Most of them unanswered), I eventually got a refund. They lied about having refunded me on the Monday (when it was actually only processed the following Friday, paid 2 days later) - They said someone would phone me to discuss compensation for my shocking customer experience, I'm sending daily mails asking for an update and nobody is even bothering to reply.
