Again Ackermans in Jhb CBD has not made provision for its customers. It's month end, till queues are long and there are only 2 cashiers available to assist 17 customers. The level of disrespect and lack of consideration for customers is totally appalling. If it wasn't for having an account with them and living nearby, I'd avoid this particular branch like the plague
To say I'm highly appalled by Multichoice and their service would be an understatement. About 10 days ago i called their call center to change my debit order date from the 27th of the month (as it's been the past couple of years) to the 1st of each month starting from this April. I was asked to call back on the 27th March to make this arrangement in order to avoid a high pro-rata fee. I did so and the agent I spoke to confirmed that my new debit order date would be the 1st of each month going forward. I even received an sms 2 days later confirming the new arrangement. Yesterday my Compact package debit order did not go off as arranged and this morning, they cut off my services. Needless to say that i was quite annoyed by the service interruption. I called back their call center and spoke to Sthembiso who could not help, explain or assure me that i will not be charged a reconnection fee. She said she will escalate my query to her team leader. Here i i sit waiting for that call while my daughter is not enjoying her cartoons on the last day of her school holidays....completely unacceptable
This review is long overdue. I had the misfortune of speaking to a Telkom customer care agent, SIPHELELE, Monday morning. The agent was incredibly rude, abrasive & didn't allow me to fully tell him of my issue. Instead, he went on to tell me that he personally had never experienced what I was calling in about. How that piece of information was supposed to be of use, is still a mystery to me. All I was hoping for was some professional guidance about an app. He kept interrupting him the entire time I tried to tell him what the issue was then he hung up on me. Pathetic service with zero knowledge of customer handling or care. I've been a loyal Telkom customer for over 5yrs and each interaction with their call center has been a nightmare. May I suggest more training on customer handling
I am not interested in having an account with Truworths and I mentioned this 5 phone calls ago. I wish their call center would stop with these incessant calls. They're now bordering on harassment.
I had my appointment first thing this morning at their Florida branch. What could've been a tedious eye consultation turned to be the best way to start my Tuesday morning. Rose and her receptionist were super friendly and professional from the word go. It's awesome having an optometrist who educates, gives options and also renders their sound opinion where necessary. I'm definitely referring the rest of my semi-blind family members to them... LOL.... Wonderful experience. Thank you ladies 😃
Imagine on a busy month end weekend where Game on Joubert str in Jhb CBD has tons of specials in store and yet only 2 till are open to service the customers. To say I'm appalled at the disrespect, slowness and lack of competency of the staff would be an understatement. The queues are snaking around the isles and there seems to not be any management on the floor. Now they want to close the store and the Capitec ATM but no one is communicating this to customers. I'm so underwhelmed and disgusted by this service. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea if this store shut down permanently again
I recently opened an account with one of the stores under the TGF group.....worst mistake EVER!!!! I'm now inundated with nuisncance calls which I receive at the most inopportune times. I previously mentioned to a consultant who called that I was not interested however this did not get my name removed from their marketing. The incessant calls are working on my last nerve. This is borderline harassment. Can the agency kindly ensure that this stops or I will have no choice but to close my account and encourage other annoyed consumers to do the same
The establishment on Elloff str (Gandhi Square) is small and fairly intimate, which is cute. However if I'd wanted a "dingy night club with loudly blaring music" atmosphere, KFC is certainly NOT the place I would have thought I'd find this. Their Amapiano music was so loud that customers couldn't hear their orders being called out. I begged the cashier to have the volume lowered so that I could hear myself think while deciding whether to buy their chicken or storm out. Horrible experience!!! I tortured myself by stating long enough to actually buy something. Their meat was fairly flavorful though
The guy who welcomed my family & I at the front entrance was friendly & comedic. However, our waiter, Lucas, assumed that based on the colour of our skin, we're Zulu which I found highly unprofessional. The entire time he kept speaking to my partner & I in Zulu. Half the time I had to figure out what he could possibly be saying in a bid to also translate to my family members. Mind you, I'm Tswana & my partner is not even South African so you can imagine the awkwardness. English is both a SA & universal language. If we could please try to accommodate people who dont speak our mother tongue especially in work environments. On a lighter note, their ribs were ok but the chicken was a tad dry...... crisped a little too much. Wonderful birthday environment though.
Not only did Pick 'n Pay Carlton Center disappoint yesterday by not having all specials advertised (even though that stock was available, just not discounted as per the brochures that made me go there in the first place) but customers were left standing in long queues for a ridiculously long time (over 40minutes). I then walked up to a tall, big build gentleman whom I assumed was the shift manager even though he didn't have his name tag on. When I raised the issue of the long queue being serviced by only one cashier, he then told me that employees hadn't shown up for work yesterday. When I asked if they don't have a "Plan B" for such situations, he then sarcastically responded by asking me if he's supposed to go to each employee's home & drag them out to come to work. Needless to say I was disgusted by his "don't care attitude" and utter rudeness & total disregard for customers & our time. Miraculously a short while after I layed my complaint, a second till was opened. Guess he did manage to go "drag" an employee from their house to come to work after all 🙄🙄
