Mark Read from Tarps for Africa is a ****mer. He quoted us on the 27th March 2025 for a pool cover. We paid the full amount on the same day and chose the color of the cover. We then received an invoice Since then there has been absolute silence from Mark He doesn't answer our calls and ignores our emails and WhatsApp messages. Every effort to get hold of him to enquire about the installation date or a refund has been met with stoney silence DO NOT trust Tarps for Africa They are ****mers who will rob you of your hard earned money with no shame.
My mother, an elderly pensioner, has been sitting waiting for her XRAY report for over 3 hours as I type this With no feedback on when it will be done All she gets told upon enquiry is that "they're still busy with it" For 3 hours and counting???? She's tired, in pain and hungry and still has to wait? Absolutely appalling treatment of a senior citizen.

I ordered a text book and the delivery date was confirmed to be the 2nd May 2023. I went ahead with the order BECAUSE of this delivery date and BECAUSE i need the text book URGENTLY. Upon completing the order and making payment, order was confirmed for delivery 2nd May. 2nd MAY, SILENCE then ON THE 3rd MAY instead of my delivery, I get a mail that the order will only be dispatched 11th May for delivery on the 15th May A full 2 WEEKS after the initial delivery date. This is completely unacceptable and dishonest on the part of Makro and I will never be ordering online from them again.
Absolutely terrible service from Dawn Wing I received communication that my parcel was received by DPD on Monday 14th November 2022 Wednesday 16th November 2022 was when they finally siad it'll be delivered It wasn't Thursday 17th November 2022 I get another notice that it is out for delivery, by 3pm it hasnt arrived and I call. The consultant assures me it will be delivered It wasn't. Today is Friday 18th November and as of 08:32am I have no communication on when I can expect my delivery. This is the worst courier company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with Disgusting!
I have a house insurance with Nedbank and it is by far the worst insurance experience I've ever had. Numerous of our claims are rejected due to "wear and tear" When you insure a house that's over 20 years old, surely wear and tear is to be expected? Or am I expected to replace everything so Nedbank finds it al in brand spanking new working condition before they insure me? Now my geyser has stopped working. It stopped in March, we claimed they sent a plumber who replaced the thermostat 3 months later in June it stops working again, right in the middle of winter It's been alomost a week without a working geyser with 2 young children, nedbank is dragging their feet First they said they are awaiting a report from the plumber they sent Then we once again had to follow up today, which is when my husband was told they received the report but didn't inform or update us When he asks what is the way forward they say they do not know When he asks what did the report say, he is told the report says we the owners requested that the previous plumber who installed the thermostat in march should come back to fix the issue. In all this, there is zero communication No way forward Installments are being paid on time monthly however we are stuck with cold water in the middle of winter I'm disgusted at the total lack of regard and compassion towards us as customers
Every other day I get a call from Telkom offering me an upgrade on one of my contracts (one of 3 which I've had for years and have never once defaulted on) however when I opt to rather take a Tablet contract for my daughter's schooling instead I'm told I do not qualify and my application rejected I will be canceling each and every single contract that I have with Telkom and taking my money elsewhere since Telkom claims I cannot afford their services They will not get another cent from me.
Our DSTV connection has been suspended for 2 weeks now Multichoice claimes no payment was made for September however POP was sent and we were given a reference number We were told they cannot reconnect ince it's on price lock onlt the price lock division can assist however we have since been waiting for the price-lock division to call back as promised This is absolutely unacceptable
It has been a week since I paid my settlement amount for a loan account at FNB and I still cannot get my paid up letter. I am sent from pillar to post being told different things with each person I can speak to. Not even the branch can help. I need this paid up letter as a matter of urgency because of a pending home purchase but I am currently stuck! What is going on at FNB? Why is it so difficult to receive a paid up letter for a debt that I have settled? Very frustrating.
