I returned a set of ear pods three weeks ago and was told that a cable was missing and that the pods would be sent back to me. To date, over 3 weeks have passed and despite numerous calls, e mails and requests for supervisors, I have still not received the item back. Everytime I call, the polite agent promises to send an email to the warehouse or sometimes the courier, but NOTHING happens and I'm still waiting for a fully paid article in Takealot's possession. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE
I recommended Vox to a cousin, because I have been with them (fibre and internet) for 2 years. However, NEVER AGAIN. They promised to install the router and phone in Killarney at the home of a 97 year old man this morning.. At 08:00 a message was sent to my cousin (the old man's daughter who is handling the deal), saying that " A VOX Telecom technician should be on site Ref No: VOX19145329-T1-3." but to date (now 16:30) no one has been there or been available to speak to despite numerous attempts by phone, e mail and Twitter. This is totally ridiculous and makes me now start seeking a new Internet provider. I am absolutely disgusted in VOX's service. They are not what they profess to be!!!
Their customer relations dept. stinks! UPS purchased March last year - one month out of warranty and they will not do anything about it - In stark contrast to Vizia Tech who replaced a similar unit after 2 years. Just shows how decent Companies look after their customers while others don't give a damn!!
I had bought a small UPS at the start of Lockdown in 2020, which stopped working in February 2022. I had no expectations, as the warranty was way past its life, but wrote to the Company expressing my disappointment with the product which had cost me well over R1000,00 at the time of purchase. To my utter surprise, I received an e mail from Donnita Etsebeth, of Viziatech who promptly arranged a replacement UPS which was delivered the same week. This, to me, is unprecedented and surpasses all customer relations services. Many thanks and Kudos to Donnita and Viziatech for going the extra mile to satisfy a customer.
I have had 3 Russell Hobbes kettles over the past 6 years, not one of which even saw the warranty period out before packing up. Now, the latest one has followed suit after just making its 2 year warranty time. What's worse is that to get hold of the Company that services the product is almost impossible. First I had to get a service "ticket" by email, then I was told to contact the service dept. something which I have tried to do all day today without anyone even answering their phones. That's it, as far as I'm concerned. I will now cut my losses and buy a different make.
Cannot understand these people. I have bought from them before and been very happy, but all of a sudden their service has gone for a loop. I called to enquire about a product some three weeks ago. No one answered the phone so I left a message and sent an email with my request. To date this has not been answered. Against my better judgement, I placed an order with them online on Sunday 12th December. Despite having taken my money immediately, I have still not received the article ordered, nor have they answered my repeated queries as to delivery ETA. Needless to say I will contact Payfast for a full refund and never use Firstshop again.
Impossible to get anyone from Computershare to call back or respond to emails. I have been trying to log in to get my tax certificate for this year, but the site will not recognize my account number so will allow me to login. And cannot reset! Absolutely no response from e mail, Phone message, Tweet...NOTHING. PATHETIC SERVICE! Maybe my account is too small for them to worry about??
I placed an order (and paid) with this online store on 16th July, 2021. I received confirmation of payment saying that the order had been processed. On 19th I received this message after inquiring where the order was: Good Day Frank Your order has been processed and will email you tracking details ASAP. Thank you Kind Regards Shop Mate Sales Since then I have heard nothing further despite my 2 emails asking for progress. I have been trying to access their web site since Monday, but it says they are working on it. I now suspect that perhaps I have been scammed and have contacted PAYFAST to refund my payment. Whether that will happen remains to be seen. BE CAREFUL OF SHOPMATE.CO.ZA
We have had a Retractaline Mini Wash line on our wall outside for at least 8 years. The product still works well but the locking mechanism was no longer holding. I called Retractaline in Kwazulu Natal and told them my problem. The very nice lady told me to please post the unit to them and they would be able to repair it at a small cost. We did this, but at the same time decided to buy a new one to attach next to the old one so that we would have something to use while the old one was being repaired, and also to eventually have extra drying capacity. Unfortunately, the new unit was not as good as the first one in that the tension was faulty and the lines sagged quite a lot. I decided to call Retractaline and ask their advice. Without any hesitation, I was told that I could either get it replaced by Takealot (where it was bought from) or they would handle it. I opted for the latter option and waited. Two days later, I received an e mail from Kubashnee of Retractaline advising that both my repaired old unit and a replacement for the new one, would be delivered to me after the weekend at no cost whatsoever. Monday afternoon, the courier arrived with my repaired old Washing Line and a new one. Best service ever! Thank you Kubashnee and thank you Retractaline.
FNB Service absolutely sucks. They do not respond to Twitter and if you try to call their 087 number you will hold on for ages costing you money all the time. Apparently the only way you can verify a cellphone for banking is by making a payment of R300 or more. As I only have a Premier card account, I asked if there was a charge for the payment and was told emphatically "NO" both on the phone and on the chat line. YET I was charged R8,50 for making the R300 payment into my Standard Bank Savings account, and I'm sure there will be a small interest charge as well. Is this what they mean when they say "How can we help you today?" ?? I have tried to address this with them but talking to someone is impossible!! A Far cry from Standard, by the way, who answers tweets within minutes!
