DSTV anniversary gift is misleading. On my DSTV app I do qualify for my anniversary gift valid for 5 months. When you want to claim to gift an error pops up: Unsuccessful - Something went wrong, please try again later. I called DST and received escalation ref #INC-2101797. I did a follow up call on 2025/10/22 and are still waiting for DSTV to resolve this. DSTV need to provide my gift that was allocated to me ASAP
FrogFoot is the fibre provider in our area. I have logged a ticket with my ISP Mind the speed for packet loss on the line. The keep on requesting reports from PATHPING.EXE -p 300 -q 250 1.1.1.1 which I provide when I can with simple there is no fault on the line. We cannot have proper teams meeting and when calling clients the line breaks up. The same story when you stream movies on Netflix. This has been going on now for more than a week without a solution, really Frogfoot and Mind the speed!!
Took my vehicle for service at Motus Nissan Menlyn on 2024/06/25. I requested service advisor that mechanic attend to passenger interior light that seems to have a faulty light switch. When I received car back nothing was done to the switch. I went back to service advisor and indicated that switch is still faulty. Response received is that he will follow up and call me back. This is so frustrating since I expected it to be repaired during service. My time is precious and can ill afford to take vehicle back again for a simple light switch! I also indicated that car wash vendor is providing a poor service, the vehicle are full of streak marks and not properly dried, watermarks. Note that I have not yet received any call back when writing this review.
I price challenged Game on 8 Kg HTH Chlorine Checkers had on special on Xtra savings. When I spoke to manager Edna, she indicated that I just need to tell cashier that I do have a price challenge. Cashier to call supervisor to process the price challenge. The floor manager Dorah was not willing to accept my price challenge with lame excuse of it on Checker's card! I have a Makro, Pick a pay, Clicks, Spar etc cards as well. Really this is not acceptable. A better price on a leaflet proving to Game that they are more expensive. Game is loosing business for not honoring their own policy! Game policy The competitor’s price must be valid at the time you purchased your item at Game. Yes The competitor must be a recognised South African retailer. Yes Checkers If it’s an online purchase, it must be a purchase based within South Africa (sites like Amazon and Wish do not count). Not online The products must be identical in brand, weight, size and colour. Exactly the same 88kh HTH chlorine The warranty of the product you bought from Game must be identical to the one from the competitor. Chemical The Price Beat Promise does not apply to clearance sales or existing discounts like the pensioner’s discount or the vaccination discount. Normal Checkers Xtra saving The Price Beat Promise also doesn’t apply to cellular contracts. Not applicable
I visited the Mit-Mak dealership in Rachel de Beer st Pretoria North on the 7th of August 2021 looking at purchasing a 2nd hand vehicle. The sales professional Stefan assisted me and I provided him with a wish list of vehicles and price range. There was 1 vehicle that was not on the floor and was in the shop for detailing. He indicated that the vehicle will be brought to me for a test drive on the 9th of August 2021. Received a follow up call on 13 August 2021 stating that the vehicle is still in the panel shop. Needless to say I requested him to look at other vehicles and to date nothing came forth. I also provided my vehicle for trade in and the evaluation trade in amount was below expectation. (My wife informed me that there was also a radio add running on Groot FM for evaluation of vehicle whereby Mit-Mak will pay a R100 just to evaluate the vehicle) Also did not hear of see this amount... I was really looking forward in becoming a member of the Mit-Mak family and now have serious doubts...
I would like to inform you that this Spur franchise is the worst I have ever been to. (My review of a **** Spur) There were about 6 couples (including us) in the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday 27 December 2020. Needless to say the restaurant next door was packed to the brim.... (I wondered why? Now I know, bad service from Spur for one).When we arrived we requested to be seated at a cool place where the aircon was working and were placed right next to the entrance where it was supposed to be cooler.. Was not. We requested to be moved to a cooler area of the restaurant which was closer to the children's play area (this was a bit better but still warm, it seems your aircons are not working?) Another reason why people tend to not visit you.. We ordered the Spur value breakfast with free top up including coffee for R67 (Considered at the time as a value for money).When asked if they could replace the coffee with normal tea, I got a reply no! I asked to speak to the manager which did not come at that point (sitting at point of sale). The waiter did return indicating that they will replace the coffee with tea. Our order was placed before another couple that came in 5 minutes after us. Well no surprise there, their drinks were served long before ours. Poor service from waiter round 1. The same happened with the serving of breakfast where the other couple received their food 1st, we had to wait another 10 minutes for our breakfast. We requested a bit of honey(we don't eat jam), red tabasco and chutney. We were informed that you have no red tabasco or honey! Round 2 Your value offering for 2 pork sausages and mushrooms is a real rip off and should be removed due to the proportion size. Round 3.My wife's fork had rough edging (burs) on the front end and we requested another young male manager to replace / throw away the fork since it is a health hazard for patrons trying to eat with this fork. This manager took the fork and never returned with a replacement fork!We had to call a lady manager to bring my wife another fork and knife set. Round 4. As noted above this service is atrocious to say the least (to provide simple breakfast) I fear that a main course with a lot of patrons will be a death wish...... Thank you Spur for really spoiling my birthday breakfast and the rest of the day. We should have gone to Parrot's instead (value for money and decent service).
Good day, My rating of 1 is due to lack of owner not taking time to talk to guest and find out if all is well. The room was clean however the mirror in bathroom is broken, the towel hanger is loose. The handshower fitting was loose and the floor all wet after you showered. The bathroom door is stuck when you tried closing the door. The bath water takes for ever to drain when you pull the plug. There is no summer bedding available only heavy goose feather duvet and blankets. When asked for a fan it was indicated that they don't have fans! A small fan was sent later at night with security guard. No matches available in the room. Only plus points was the bed was comfortable and the breakfast provided was good. The deal included welcome drinks which were not provided! Note that this would be a ok deal if management took the time to maintain the upkeep of the premises as well as the gardens I would suggest that management look after their patrons interest and not hide behind closed doors

The services and products advertised is of poor quality and when you complain they give you a cold shoulder with empty promises... I have recharged twice with Telkom Free me 500MB bundle. The confirmation SMS "Account successfully loaded with FreeMe 500MB. Data, Telkom voice minutes, SMS, WhatsApp and Streaming data will expire in 14 days." received. When I opened the Telkom app I only received 350MB of data and not 500MB data. I logged 2 complaints with Telkom in this regard. I received a call from an agent for the 1st complaint and after an hour the agent indicated that they need to escalate the call to technical for further investigation. To date I have not received feedback from Telkom in this regard. My second call logged I received a call back but the agent did not speak to me and dropped the call. Please be informed that Telkom is giving you less data as promised and do not follow up on complaints logged.
