Since my review about Bradlows. They have been in contact. They tried to exchange the couches, but everytime for 3 times they brought faulty and broken couches. I have called to the customer service and requested to refunded. To date I have not heard anything from Bradlows.
I bought a single bed set from SleepKing. It was a cloud nine strand mattress. I bought the bed on the 20th of July 2025 for my daughter. She only used the bed recently about 2 weeks and the centre of the mattress is sinking. I have complained on the 18th October 2025 to the store where I purchase the bed. I also went online and made a complaint with cloudnine. I have not received any response yet from Cloud nine.
I bought a lounge suite from Bradlows Phoenix. The recliner couch cushion is sinking, it actually hurts your buttocks if you sit for awhile. There is a nail sticking out on the console that *****ed my finger. I paid R22000 cash for such poor quality. I have complained 2 weeks ago to the headoffice. They responded with a ticket number. To this date no one has come to see the couch. I bought this lounge suite about 4 months ago and I am sure by the end of the year this couch will be so bad. I thought i was paying for quality, but this company has no quality.
My kids and I wanted to have bunny chow, and decided to go to Copper Chimney at the Phoenix plaza. We ordered the 1/4 mutton bunny to take away. The potaoes was hard, the meat was hard. The bread was not fresh. The salad was not fresh. It was so disappointing. I spent R230, for food I could not enjoy. I had to give to my dog. A change needs to happen. Restaurants cannot be selling disgusting food for high prices. I will not return and I will not recommend Copper Chimney to family or friends.
It was my very first time to visit Solly Manjra. I walked in. There was about 3 customers before me. When those customers left, The servers did not even acknowledge my presence. When I requested service, tbe lady asked me if I followed the queue. There was no other customers, so I asked what queue. She had no customer etiquette. The manager was also there and he looked so miserable. His facial expressions showed that he was not interested is his job. He lacked passion and personality. Then someone from the back came and saved the day. He showed courtesy with his stupid jokes. Beside the horrible welcome the special lamb breyani was not good. The soji was also disappointing. I will not return.
I decided to treat my family and kids to the KFC PARK SQUARE and purchased 9 pieces of chicken, before I went home. When I got home and served up, the drumstic smelled very bad. I complained in store nothing changed. That was my first experience, then the second time around my friend invited me and we had the street wise 2 and the chicken was not cooked well and it had that bad couchy smell. It didnt have that KFC smell or taste, I immediately complained because we sat in. The manager changed the meal for the zinger burger, but there was no difference the chicken still smelled couchy. And at the back of KFC it oftens has a bad drain smell. I was highly disappointed with KFC and will not purchase from KFC again.
I was at Checkers hyper gateway yesterday and i always look for mark down cos we dont earn enough to pay full price, so always looking out for discounts and specials. So i love those Tim Tam biscuits, but can never afford to buy at the normal price, but checkers is very good reducing items that are almost expired and im happy to purchase it at the reduced price, but yesterday i was disappointed that they didnt pick it up that some of those biscuits had passed the expiry date. I brought to the managers attention. She did not want to sell them cos it was already 4 days past expiry. However i wait to hear from them.
I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate Mr Price and their staff for working with integrity and always putting the customer first. I recently saw an item that had a sale sticker, but when i took it to the counter. The cashier said the item is not on sale. I was disappointed. And i did complain cos the price I see is the price I pay. The management called me back and gave the item at the sale price. The manager was friendly and thanked me for shopping at Mr Price. This is customer service experience. Turning a bad situation into good one.
I have requested for my monthly statement beginning from January 2021 to date. And they refuse to send them to me. I have a feeling that fraud is going on with my account. I have a 6 months interest free account. I have been paying a monthly installment since from May 2021 of R1450, and i have not made any purchases after May 2021. Now i have been sent a sms stating that my September installment due is R1492. I have sent a quiet a few emails to the customer service asking for my statements. There response was that my statement is not ready. I find this very strange. Please help me to investigate this. I am getting very fustrated. My son has covid. He was helping me with payments. I initially asked truworths to help me with a payment arrangement, because i was worried i could not pay the account. But i managed to pay my account installment of R1450 on the 8th August 2021.
