Nobody answers head office number, nor your whatsapp chat. This is a disgrace!!!!! My parcel keeps getting sent back to a depot. Wow I am furious
If you want the kind of service one would expect from TakeAlot, do not use this company. I ordered a Phillips shaver, mid March. It took them nearly 2 weeks to ship it to me, and when I received it, it didn't come with a USB cable that I believe should have been in the box. I tried charging the shaver with the charger supp****, but it wouldn't accept a charge. I had numerous conversations via email with their sales rep over the past 2 weeks regarding the problems, and at last 5 days ago they agreed to collect the shaver and credit me. To date it has still not been collected and they still cannot tell me when they will collect it. Everything in dealing with this company is SLOW!
Do not use this business. If you'd ever like to speak to a human to resolve problems, this is not the company for you. I tried for MONTHS to get an answer out of their "AI support" and their online chat bot regarding their overcharges on my account. Not once did they ever come back to me. I eventually decided I'd had enough and I terminated my service, and only then did someone phone me to ask why I was cancelling. I then received an email from them saying I needed to return my "free router" within 30 days, or I will be billed for the router. I tried to return the router to the company they directed me to "Nology", who told me they cannot accept the router. I then wrote to webafrica to tell them that Nology wouldn't accept the router and I did not get a reply from webafrica. Luckily I stopped the debit order when I terminated the service, as they have now been trying to get the money from my account. From day 1, webafrica have been a terrible company to deal with and I have since moved to Afrihost, and what a pleasure. At least I can speak to a real person. There's obviously a reason webafrica is rated so low in web service provider comparison surveys.
NB - THERE ARE PEOPLE PRETENDING TO BE FROM BEST HOME & ELECTRIC - THEY ARE THE ****MERS!! DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING ONLINE BEFORE SEEING IT IN STORE. I have been looking on market place for a washing machine and TV and clicked on a few ads with UNBELIEVABLE prices, then contacted the sellers on whatsapp - they even have a "business account" with a catalogue of all the items for sale. What made me suspicious is that there were two people with Home Electric whatsapp business accounts contacting me... with two different addresses. So I googled Home & Electric appliances and found the REAL BUSINESS and called them. Their prices were REALISTIC and the guy I spoke to told me there are ****mers who ONLY DO ONLINE orders. Don't be a fool and pay for something you have not seen! The one ****mer even uses the actual address, so even if you do go instore they will then offer you an "online Special" - IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS! These bad reviews for Best Home & Electric are unfair to the REAL COMPANY.
I am absolutely APPALLED at the level of service these days. I have been trying to get through to FNB Forex for 3 days!!!! Nobody answers. Their "Private suite" messaging is equally as useless as the person helping me only gave me the same number to call that I've been trying for days! And that's after me telling the person that I have been trying to get through to forex. I am sick of not being able to speak to a real person anymore. Yes FNB it IS time FOR CHANGE!! Change to another bank!!
I was able to get through to their call centre and speak to a representative who confirmed that they had stock in their warehouse of the washing machine I wanted. I placed my order online on Friday at 8pm, I got an SMS on Saturday at 8am confirming my order and the delivery for Tuesday. I then got 2 follow up sms's, one saying the order is awaiting the courier to pick it up, the next to say it has been collected. The driver called me on Tuesday morning to confirm a delivery time. I am SUPER IMPRESSED!!!! Makes such a change.

I have tried to call makro woodmead 4 times today (not to mention the numerous other times on differnt days) and each time have waited 30 minutes AND NO ONE PICKS UP!!! Then I dial their call Centre number 0860 600 999 and the recorder voice waffles on about their whatsapp BOT and then the line just goes dead. I am FURIOUS as I am trying to sort the washing machine I bought almost a month ago which needs to be replaced. I will not buy from Makro again!!!
BEWARE THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY - My partner ordered and paid for a solar panel and never received. Tried to call them, their phone cuts off. Searched their address and it belongs to a concrete company. Their website is now taken down. Fortunately he alerted his bank (Investec) - they immediately contacted the scammers bank (bidvest) and their account was frozen. After making an affidavit and getting a case number, luckily we got our money back. ALWAYS phone & research a company to check it exists before blindly paying over money. The give away was they asked for an EFT and used words like "wire the money" in their confirmation email.
I'm sure this is a scam debt collecting company. I paid my outstanding account on the 29th August, was promised a paid up letter within working 21 days and to this day, I haven't got it. They responded once on email to say they are waiting for the letter from Cell C. I sent them another email today asking for it again and the email bounce back saying the mail box is full. My advice - Don't pay them!
