Nedbank Campus Square is trying their best to sort out my banking profile issues with no success. I have a new account created on a new profile although I allready have a profile. Been banking with Nedbank over 20 years now. Why their back office would go and create a new profile is beyond me and it renders my new account useless because I need to do transfers between my existing accounts. Then I received a message from Nedank that my new account is in overdraft (by R5) and I must pay before 16:00 to avoid penalties. Bunch of jokers.
I would like to commend the AA for years of good service. I have been a member for more than 10 years and the AA really helped me out of some tricky situations in the past. Being stuck with a dead battery or in an accident keeping the towing mafia at bay. Thanks guys. You are doing a great job!
My experience with G&T Autobody was quick and painless. Excellent service, great communication and spotless work from the actual repairs of my vehicle to delivering a washed and sanitized finished product. Only inconvenience was that I had to pay via EFT due to the payment policy not allowing for card payments but a minor inconvenience if taken into consideration the overall experience.
SARS is really trying their best to collect taxes for South Africa. Their service is not always to the satisfaction of their "clients" but most of the time it is due to a lack of client education. If you want to rate SARS negatively on Hello Peter then you have most probably not followed other avenues of obtaining the services of qualified tax practitioner. I know that it is a matter of affordability but no other state institutions have professionals lined up to negotiate on your behalf.
I had the dubious privilege to be involved with a Sage Evolution 200 implementation and I must say that it is the most difficult platform for accounting ever created. Writing books up by hand is easier. At least you will then be certain about what should be debits or credits. Sage distance themselves from troubleshooting bugs in the program by referring you to their "network of partners" that charge top IT rates but knows nothing. Stay away is all I can say.
I have bought various products online from Evetech over the years. Their products are of good quality and the delivery is on point. I had to RMA a product for the first time since I started buying from them and within a day it was collected at my office in Johannesburg for warranty assessment. I highly recommend Evetech for all your pc specialist needs.
An agent of MTN cold called me in January 2020 and sold me two contracts. One was for a data SIM and the other for a handset and sim with the understanding that I can keep my current number with the new handset. After delivery of the goods, I went to my nearest MTN store where I was informed that the SIM with my handset has a fixed number that I cannot port my old number. At the same time the assistant enquired why I took the handset on a 36-month contract while I could have acquired the same handset on a 24-month contract in store. I then immediately returned the handset and SIM while retaining the data SIM for use. MTN kept on charging me for the returned SIM and handset until 10 months later when I eventually got the agents so far to convince MTN to cancel my contract. MTN retained the charges although I never used the handset and SIM. The data SIM contract was also cancelled although I never asked for it to be cancelled. Now I had to go back to MTN to obtain a data SIM like the one cancelled. After going through a lengthy application process, I was informed that my application was turned down due to me having a low credit score. That was a blatant lie. MTN did not even checked up on my score at a credit bureau. The person that helped me with the application promised me to phone me to inform me about my application. I never received any calls from MTN and had to go to the store to enquire about the application various times. Suffice to say, I shall never again make use of MTN as a service provider again.
Trying to get hold of someone to help you track a parcel at this business is futile. The front desk lady tried to help me and according to her my parcel is "lying on the floor". Nobody is available to explain why it does not go out.
Johannesburg office's phone does not even work. Got through to the Cape Town office and the very friendly lady there told me that they also battle to get hold of the Johannesburg office. Imagine that. Even internally they cannot get hold of one of their branches. The lady also informed me that my parcel was handed over to a company called TWS and offered to contact them. I asked her the number of TWS because I wanted to personally find out the status of my package delivery. TWS is even worse. No way to get to a person to help me. But that is another bad review...
This service for vehicle license renewals is great for those that do not have AARTO infringements but terrible if there are any enforcement orders outstanding on your name. Rather go to the post office. Pay your outstanding fines and renew your vehicle license that way. It will be much cheaper than having to pay for "reprinting" your license over and over again until all enforcement orders are settled. Don't expect Renewonline to communicate outstanding orders. In fact don't expect any communication because there is no "contact us" section on their website.
