Absolutely shocking service from UCOOK. One of my meal kits never arrived — literally only the berries showed up — and after taking my money, they’ve completely ignored me on WhatsApp. Being ghosted by customer service when part of your order is missing is unacceptable. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is honestly disgraceful.
Outsurance is ridiculous. I was supposed to get my pet referall bonus in DECEMBER already. Due to an IT error I'm only getting in APRIL. Why is this my fault? Cancelling my products and going to dotsure and first for woman
FNB, you have made me into an idiot. For years and years, I have been recommending you to my friends, family, and anyone who would listen. WHY, THEN, DID YOU PULL THAT STUNT WITH THE VIRTUAL CARDS????? WHICH YOU FORCE US TO USE FOR EBUCKS! Why is it our fault that you couldn't process transactions and then give us a day's warning to process them? SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!! The people who I have recommended are furious. The people still with their other banks are looking at us, shaking their heads, thinking - IM SO GLAD I'm NOT WITH FNB! SHAME ON YOU!!!
Good Day, I am writing to formally notify you of my intent to lodge a complaint under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”), based on what I believe to be a violation of my personal information rights. On 10 December 2024, at exactly 4:13 PM, I received an unsolicited phone call from your company using the number 031 396 3252 During the call, I inquired about the source of my personal information. Among the responses I was provided with was “Have you not done any car insurance quotes lately?” To which I rep**** “No”. When I broached the subject of POPIA asking when I consented, I was told it was an “opt-in system” as well as “That’s not how the law works, You don’t have to be like that now, Why go there I will just OPT you out”. As per Section 11 and Section 69 of POPIA, this explanation is inadequate. The Act explicitly requires that personal information be collected and processed lawfully, reasonably, and transparently, with explicit consent or other legally recognized justifications for its use. The phrase “Have you not done another car insurance quotes lately” does not meet the transparency or consent standards mandated by POPIA. Please treat this correspondence as a formal notification of my intent to escalate this matter to the Information Regulator if I do not receive, within seven (7) business days, a comprehensive explanation regarding the acquisition and processing of my personal data, as well as confirmation of your compliance with POPIA. Company is not POPIA Compliant. I asked them where they got my number. They said - A REPUTABLE DATABASE? How is this popia compliant? I have filed a complaint to the regulator and hope you get fined for making unsolicited calls and refusing to tell me where you got my number.
This company keeps phoning me and won’t tell me where they got my number from. When I ask they say - our consumer database- and when I ask when did I consent they hang up.
This jewellery store is going downhill. We purchased my engagemnt ring from their bay west store, and per the warranty, i have to get it cleaned via browns only. They have now closed their store and there is no store in the eastern cape so I have to go to another province to get my ring cleaned. I also think they gave my number away to marketing companies
What a disgusting medical aid company! They would rather pay for a major medical event in hospital then pay for screening tests related to my hypertension! My Doctor ordered tests from them related to my hypertension to see if it was putting stress on any of my other organs. Discovery has refused to pay for the tests and would rather me not know about them and pay for a major medical event in hospital! I was denied in speaking to a manager 3 times even though I know it is my right and had to tell the employee- Carin- that it’s against their own policy to deny me to speak to a manger! Then they want me to fill in ridiculous amounts of paperwork and contact my doctor (who is on leave) for an appeal on this decision!!!!!! Thankyou discovery for increasing my hypertension !!!! And ruining my Christmas!!!
I ordered an online upgrade to a iPhone 13 more than a month ago from MTN. I was approved shortly after. This company is the one that handles MTNs online orders. Every week I have phoned for an update and the story changes every time. I understand that there are stock shortages but the excuse went from you will get it in two weeks, to MTN has a manufacturers agreement with apple and you will get it in the first week of December, and now finally to I am waiting approval which I already received a month ago. Not only did they not communicate to me about the stock delays, but they are also terrible in the customer service department. I do not recommend. Rather put your life at risk and go into MTN to upgrade physically then deal with these people.
CUstomer service is terrible. Wasted all my airtime trying to get on the phone with them. They take forever to reply on the Whatsapp Line. I ordered Fibre two weeks ago, haven't heard or had it installed. SO difficult to cancel the order, STAY AWAY!
